    Everything was fine before Stellantis showed up...seems pretty obvious who is to blame.

    Well if they would’ve given us retro bodies for the LAST CALL, that would’ve spiked sales, and if dealerships would’ve fell back from mark ups, sales would’ve been good. Sucks to suck 🤝🏽

      @williamrose7184 Před 2 měsíci

      Mark up, isn’t the problem MSRP is the problem. All of the lineup from CJDR dealers is grossly overpriced. Of course markup is a problem, but it isn’t the main problem and it’s no longer even an issue.

    I remember the Dodfe Avenger as well, mid size car lol. I
    Agree 100% that lack of diversity in the options of cars/Suvs/ trucks hurt Dodge as well. The bread and butter of car companies are the less expensive models. The sale of those models give revenue to make the way for the more expensive models.

    John Elkann is to blame, he and his Fiat family started eliminating Dodge 10 years ago on purpose, especially after they separated the RAM truck line.

    • @ridgebristow1370
      @ridgebristow1370 Před 3 měsíci

      Agreed! Also, Sergio Marchionne was a key contributor to the DODGE and RAM split as well which severely fractured the infrastructure for DODGE in particular. Taking their truck lineup away and spinning it off into it’s own brand may work in Europe, but in America, manufacturers need trucks in their lienup of offerings. The truck market is still in high demand overall in the U.S. and DODGE has suffered ever since this executive decision was made to split into two separate companies.

    Dodge was done in the late 90s before Benz put life back in them. They need a Dodge Neon car that's under $25k like 3 yes ago

    dealers added lot to poor sales =markups, price increases and money wasted on the demon 170 (ba sound super charger whine) could of went into a new V8

      My demon 170 was such a piece of crap. Steering wheel crooked and felt loose and would even pop, windows rattled, door handles didn't half way work and I adjusted them to the limit, idled at 900-1000 rpm, it would hold a gear for almost a minute after letting off the gas, trunk light didn't work, and several other issues I can't even remember. Traded it in after 3 months when dodge sent me an email to order shot glasses with my name, a demon logo, and 666 on the glasses. They really sold out to the devil and want their customers to do the same

    The only car maker in the world that has die hard v8 fans, is the first and only car maker to go all electric but with 6 cylinder options. F stellantis

  • @Hemi5Slow
    @Hemi5Slow Před 3 měsíci +2

    Tim revived the company with the Hellcat Demon and refreshed Scat and RT. Stellantis destroyed the brand because of losing the core fan base if you need to sell more fuel efficient cars go hybrid V8 or smaller displacement V8s such as the 4.7L or 5.7L.. Going EV made everyone not interested at all

    Internally they need a scapegoat ... so yeah. This was not done for public perception as long as the shareholders "believe". Tim was obviously forced out and they had a plan all along. It was so no one at Stellantis has to take the blame. Sad but reality in Corp America, not just the autos. Rarely if ever is the scapegoat the actual responsible person.

    This is the big problem with Dodge other than Stellantis messing things up, Dodge needs more vehicle lineups. If one or 2 vehicles slow down in sales the rest will keep them afloat at least, I’m sure the V8s would still be a thing for Dodge if they expanded and revised/improve all of the technology they use. 💎

    The numbers don't lie, but there is more to the story. Things took a turn for the worse when Stellantis came in, and changed the directions, as well as increased the prices for the vehicles that were sell the best. Once the price change happened and the move away from the Hemi was forced. Everything went down hill from there.

    I wonder if the HORNET higher sales are related to them being sold into rental car fleets?

  • @cartertj04

    Stellantis SUCKS!!!!!
    It’s so many things that could’ve been done
    -V8 hybrids
    -twin turbo V8
    -bringing back a track Focused V10 viper
    -bringing the dodge magnum back(making it similar to the Porsche Panamera, a long, low, hatchback)
    -keeping the challenger
    I could go on. Tim Kuniskis was keeping American Muscle alive. Dodge won’t see their error until the company is bankrupt. Unfortunately Mopar or no car has come to fruition because I’m not buying it.

      This also stems back again to the executive decision to split DODGE and RAM into their own brands. With the truck market the way it is in America specifically, this move did not help DODGE! This business model may work in Italy/Europe, but certainly is not conducive for the U.S. market.

    Stelantis needs to take their European car ideas back to Europe, and sell the Dodge brand to an American company. Too many foreign companies are buying the originally founded American companies and ruining their names.

    Dodge could have made smaller more efficient V8's. The bmw m550i can get over 30 mpg on the highway. Same with some Audi's. Dodge failed its fans and won't last much longer.
