I’m looking to change my basketball shoes and I’m really picky. I have been playing for the last 5years (I bought 5pairs back in 2016) with the Nike Hyperdunk 2008 retro 11.5. They are so light and confortable. So I have been out of the loop to buy new shoes. Since I can’t get them I was wondering what kind of shoes I could get that are light and confortable or that have ressemblance to the Hyperdunk retro 08 .

My go to shoe last season was the pg6 I need a new shoe just got the lebron nxxt gen but im returning they really dont feel like they have any cushion..what do you think of the zoom freak 5 and do you have a alternative for the pg….thanks again your killing it
🙏🙏 Hard to top the PG 6 from the Nike shoes so far this year tbh. Zoom Freak 5 is decent, GT Hustle 2 is also good. Also might be a longshot but the Nova Surge Low from Asics is just like the PG 6 if not better, amazing shoe.

Immortality 3 or ua lockdown 6 for traction and cushion which one to pick?
Immortality 3 is slowly becoming my favorite budget shoe it does have better traction and responsiveness. No bad choice here 😃

Is under armour spawn 4 light weight? One of the youtuber's says they feel more like a training shoes or running shoes rather than basketball shoes cause they feel so low to the ground and they are very light weight according to them,just wanna know your opinions about it

I never owned a pair of those back in the days - wish I could though heard really good things about them. If I was to guess - not from Nike but Shadow 4? Super underrated and affordable too. 😃 For being fairly lightweight and comfortable the Jordan 38 could be one too.
With my reading on the subject I would say Jason Tatum 1, Asics Gel hoopV15 (that I will received soon), Ja 1 or Kobe 8. I red about the jordan 38 and the shadow 4 but they are much more heavier than the Hyperdunk retro 08@@TommyLiu4

I'm sick of these lightweight videos. Every tester does them and they're always lightweight themselves. But I feel like nowadays literally every sneaker is geared towards only indoor guard shoes. Not interested in no impact protection and bad durability

@@TommyLiu4 almost every wear tester is a guard and if they're not they only wear guard shoes. Or their reviews are so biased on guard shoes where they rate shoes worse if it doesn't fit their play style. There's no middle shoe I feel like, either low budget center shoes that have no mobility or guard shoes that are overpriced. Need more shoes that can do everything, attack anywhere on the court, jump out the gym, play in the paint, go coast to coast. I feel like the forward shoes have no market, they're usually budget models that haven't had any effort made into them. I prefer mid top shoes because lows feel like you can twist your ankle or can't attack, and highs dig into your foot. Very few high tops ever made i think that don't do that. I just got the lebron 9 low, hopefully it will be ok for outdoors because I've spend dozens of hours researching and it's been really frustrating. I'm not in the states right now so I can't order a Chinese brand and have it not fit me. So from my many hours the only viable shoe I've found is harden 6 and possibly Zion 2, but the Zion 2 silhouette looks very uncomfortable and hard and ankle might wanna move in one direction or the other. Shoe looks like it was made for a gorilla, wish they did more lebron retros. Was minutes too late before lebron 2 sold out
@@timl998 Honestly I do agree with what you said about the guard thing - in this day and age everybody thinks they’re a guard, which has a lot to do with how the game has evolved too. I was never a good player, so I just avoid grouping myself into a position cause there’s no point 😅 But in making a video we have to respect each person’s assessment of themselves, hope that makes sense. And the Harden Vol. 6 is a great and versatile shoe indeed!
@@TommyLiu4 I'm a paint threat, attack from the outside to in and vice versa, aggressive off ball player too and cutter, get boards, lockdown defender, and can do a little bit of everything. Dribbling is my worst skill but I'm still crafty and can still get to where I want to, usually to the rack
do not buy tatum 1s. mine blew out the sides on me in about 2 months
