Ayeka: "LEAVE HIM ALONE YOU HUSSY, I'M TALKING TO YOU! STAY AWAY- STAY AWAY FROM MY TENCHI, YOU HEAR?--- (Slaps the boss) OH LET ME GO, MIND YOUR OWN BUISSNESS!!! UH- Doot~~~ Ryoko: "THAT'S MY LOVE YOU LITTLE BRAAAAT!!!" OMG I remembered how much that "Money! Money! Money!" episode made my day.
It’s implied that Washu is mostly chasing him because she’s a little chaos goblin who enjoys causing problems. She is attracted to him, but not to the same extent as her daughter.
Deadpool: Is anyone surprised that this guy didn't take advantage of the amount of hot women in his house? Tenchi: I'll be a normal kid without all these crazy women! Deadpool: AHHHHH!!!!! WHAT HORRIBLE UNIVERSE DID I STEP INTO?! A GUY NOT OOGLING HIS OWN HAREM!? WHAT HORRIBLE UNIVERSE IS THIS?
Yeah, it's funnier, but I feel they killed Tenchi's character. I know he cares for the girls back home, but he just seemed to be a little more harsh about them and with them than before and I like him better where he fought to protect them and just be an all out gentle man. I mean...he can have the new girl who is "normal", but they didn't have to change his personality like that...
I can understand that perspective on it. For me though, it didn't so much as lessen the characters, rather it added something to them, albeit differently. Just an opinion. Admittedly, I don't think the Tokyo series really illustrated the characters' history with as much depth as it should have, like the OVA and Universe series, but the humor made up for a lot of what it was lacking I think. I'm just a wierdo though and that's only my opinion. Thanks for uploading these, by the way. :)
So apparently the composer for this series is the same man who worked on Dragon Ball/Z. It’s a little hard to recognize. I guess different dynamics has to do with it.
I don't get guys like Tenchi. You have woman that live with you that probably want to get into your pants and you immediately say no. Not even going to give it a second throught. What the Hell!
The one thing I favored about the Tenchi in Tokyo series is the surreal comedy and exaggeration, which wasn't as prevalent in the previous series. Some people don't like it, but I think it's funny. They took an entirely different spin on things and I guess that's what I liked about this series. However, I really didn't care for Sakuya's character that much and I thought Hotsuma was a royal bitchface... I was so glad when he finally got his in the end.
I hated this version when I was a kid, but now it's hilarious and not so bad. I though Sakuya was a Mary-Sue, but when I rewatched the series, its really hard to hate her.
I agree that the OVA was better than Tenchi in Tokyo, but to Tenchi in Tokyo's credit, I think the characters developed a lot more in it. Kiyone goes from being part of a family-like unit to being mean as usual to actually accepting Mihoshi. Ryoko goes from pirate to naughty ex-pirate to laid-back honest person to nefarious pirate to homesick pirate and back to honest but naughty person again. Tenchi gains an increased appreciation for Ryoko. Sasami makes, loses, and regains a friend.
Yeah I agree, too much exaggeration in the animation (like when someone is yelling and their head is HUGE and cartoony, etc.). I hated that and liked the OVA animation the best. The movies are good too, but the 2nd movie animation (Daughter of Darkness) isn't good either. I like the last movie's because it was very intricate and sort of realistic.
Thing that bugs me the about harem types is the male mc is always gay all theses women and they do nothing with them seriously why are they always so spineless
@WretchedDrake Well in Tokyo, Tenchi didn't finish High School during the OVA series so in this in he wants to finish it in Tokyo cuz his old one got blown up by Ryoko. But the girls are always too "clining" on to him so Tenchi needs some space and alone time to himself, but some events came in with Sakuya and torment is happening making everyone not trusting Tenchi and is in danger... Hope that summons up the plot/story line...
I hate Tenchi in Tokyo... I hated it watching the first few episodes, then got used to it midway, and towards the end I was glad it was ending, then afterwards I didn't mind it... But after not watching it for a while, I realize how much better the OVA and movies and Universe is. I hate Sakuya, Tenchi acts weird in this one, idk something about this series I don't like. Ryoko ftw though, she's the best
Tenchi in Tokyo was one of the funniest animations I've ever seen
"Leave him alone you hussy!!!"
xD god i miss this show!
The dub!!!!! OMG!!!! Just like I remember it. Such a classic anime.
Ayeka: "LEAVE HIM ALONE YOU HUSSY, I'M TALKING TO YOU! STAY AWAY- STAY AWAY FROM MY TENCHI, YOU HEAR?--- (Slaps the boss) OH LET ME GO, MIND YOUR OWN BUISSNESS!!! UH- Doot~~~
Ryoko: "THAT'S MY LOVE YOU LITTLE BRAAAAT!!!"
OMG I remembered how much that "Money! Money! Money!" episode made my day.
Tenchi & Sakuya are being nice to each other
Ryoko loves her some Tenchi... man...
freelanceryuu That’s an understatement.
Ryoko will never love Tenchi ever Again never
The thing I find the most strange about this show is that how mother and daughter both are after tenchi.
It’s implied that Washu is mostly chasing him because she’s a little chaos goblin who enjoys causing problems. She is attracted to him, but not to the same extent as her daughter.
I remember Sakuya! She was one of my fav. characters! Ryoko and Ayeka are so awesome!
Poor Ryo-Oki.
0:35-36 Her laugh and facial expression gets me every time! XD
ryokos mad face is amazing
Idk if it's the silver spiky hair, Amber eyes, fangs, or the brash and impulsive attitude but ryoko reminds me so much of inuyasha lmfao
Well, she technically did debut in another Rumiko Takahashi series in Ranma 1/2.
I wonder how a half alien and half human would look like because Inuyasha is also of mixed heritage.
I mean they both have tails too (well last I checked anyway)
That's funny, because when I first saw Inuyasha, he reminded me of Ryoko! XD
Ayeka and the almighty spork.
1:50 Ehhhh...just give up and might as well enjoy it, Tenchi.
I love this! That Tenchi is such a lucky SOB!
That's very nice of you Sakuya
Did Ryoko just go into Grand Theft Auto mode?
Ryoko and Ayeka are bad at their jobs!
The funniest moment in Tenchi in Tokyo for me was when Ayeka was laughing her ass off at Ryoko putting on makeup XD
Where's Tokyo funny moments 2? Love these compilations! You are great for making these!! :D
Chanel dead now
8:34 XD I would expect to see this kind of facial expression from Jessie from Pokemon. I can't stop laughing!
Tenchi sounds like a prepubescent ray ramano
Razer9672 DUDE! You’re right!
beware the all mighty and all powerful SPORK!!
MFW finding out Debi Derryberry was the voice of Ryo-ohki.
Suddenly her voicing Pura makes a whole lot more sense.
I remember when they were comparing Tenchi to Star Wars.
8:10 - 8:12. Idk why,but this part here i find absolutely hilarious.
I just noticed something Ryoko can fly what does she care about the portal when she can make it and stay in Tokyo on her own
Deadpool: Is anyone surprised that this guy didn't take advantage of the amount of hot women in his house?
Tenchi: I'll be a normal kid without all these crazy women!
Deadpool: AHHHHH!!!!! WHAT HORRIBLE UNIVERSE DID I STEP INTO?! A GUY NOT OOGLING HIS OWN HAREM!? WHAT HORRIBLE UNIVERSE IS THIS?
You're welcome to Ryoko, Deadpool! 😆
Luis Reyes oh god yes I can just imagine ryoko and Deadpool
5:12 You wouldn’t dare...
She would.
1:00 That Face! XD
Yeah, it's funnier, but I feel they killed Tenchi's character. lol idk, but how she says it is soo funny! xD
She IS Grand Theft Auto mode!
7:52 WOW floor seating in a coffee shop.
Ryoko: HERE'S JOHNNY!!!!
So apparently the composer for this series is the same man who worked on Dragon Ball/Z. It’s a little hard to recognize. I guess different dynamics has to do with it.
Ryoko's beast mode face 0:35
wow... in the end, Sasami owns all!
I don't get guys like Tenchi. You have woman that live with you that probably want to get into your pants and you immediately say no. Not even going to give it a second throught. What the Hell!
It's an anime protagonist thing.
So hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂
@foxloverfreak I think Ayeka's dub VA was pushing 60 when did her voice. Of course, Ayeka has the personality of a crazy old lady anyway, so it fits.
So do I ^^
What's a hussy???
8:14 your fired!!!!!!
8:38-9:04 can't stop laughing! HAHAHAhAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHahAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHa!! LOL
I liked Universe the best, mainly for the last episode and the carnival analogy. It was just so brilliant.
Also, I think we can all agree OVA 3 blows.
My Love 😫😅😂🤣
0:10 the face
@JakeWearsJeans94 isn't she always in some sort of Grand Theft Auto mode?
:28 unforgivable for a man to say

This version looks so different one version that I have seen is when tenchi becomes a teacher at a girls school
I agree that the OVA was better than Tenchi in Tokyo, but to Tenchi in Tokyo's credit, I think the characters developed a lot more in it. 0;52 this is what Tenchi gets for being such a jerk on Tenchi in Tokyo
me too, the most I didn't like was the animation style...
i remember one person this timed.. n_n
Who voiced Ryoko, a 50-year old?
Close lol and they brought her back for Ai Tenchi Muyo.
Thing that bugs me the about harem types is the male mc is always gay all theses women and they do nothing with them seriously why are they always so spineless
@0:36
What killed Tenchi in Tokyo for me was the animation style...

This show wreaks of mgtow before mgtow was a thing
dude very nice
i miss this anime cartoonnetwork now suck
@JLB182007 Haha right.
I admit, I disliked this season the most too, but it did have a lot of funny moments! XD
I hate Tenchi in Tokyo... I hated it watching the first few episodes, then got used to it midway, and towards the end I was glad it was ending, then afterwards I didn't mind it...

Ryoko ftw though, she's the best
man i like the show but i hate his voice
This might come as a surprise to everyone here, but regardless of which series that she’s in, but I honestly don’t like Ryoko at all
Washu was better the first series
This dub was...not great. Better than Universe, though. However the actors for Tenchi and Ryoko were hilarious and there were other funny moments
Disliked in Tokyo the most of all the Tenchi series
