I 'm so glad to have found your site. I have almost identical coloring and amazingly similar style. I'm much older than you, 62, but totally embrace your "look" and will enjoy all the inspiration you provide! And I, too, have a favorite pair of black skinny jeans that look and feel amazing, so those are not going anywhere regardless of what the "current" fashion world says.
I just got some for $ at a church rummage sale. They fit perfect.

Good call keeping the skinny jeans. I was never a fan of the style and have always preferred flares, but I’m keeping mine too. Mine are high quality and have their place until they wear out. It’s so arbitrary for everyone to throw them out on command.
Love this - I’m a bit edgier than you, but this gives me a lot of inspiration. That checked over shirt is perfect - I’ll looking to replace two plaid flannels with one (one I bought in 1991 (yes I’m old) and the second I stole from my brother 15 years ago) but it’s so hard when the ones I had got so much use.

Thank you for showing us one doesn't need new items to feel good and creative. Quite the opposite 🙂 What about accessories? Another video? I am thinking scarves (for added color, texture or variety -like a plaid), belts and bags, not so much jewelry. Beautiful nail polish by the way; the color suits you perfectly.
It’s so nice to see a capsule wardrobe that isn’t trying so hard to meet a number and instead focuses on the needs of the wearer. I also appreciate seeing a fall wardrobe that isn’t in classic fall colours.

I love this video and all your content! I am a long time follower and I enjoy seeing how you’ve really honed in on your style and with the changes you’ve made through learning about what colors look best on you. I am impressed by how many items you carry forward through different seasons and years. You are showing how to get a ton of use out of your different pieces while always looking stylish but never trendy. I feel frustrated when I see other CZcamsrs show their newest capsule and it’s full of brand new items. That doesn’t feel attainable or authentic to me. Love this capsule! Like what you said about wearing colors that suit you, rather then colors that are typical for the season. I personaly suit warmer shades better and am slowly changing my summer spring wardrobe to be more suited to my coloring. Love the sage green though, looks great on my son.

I think both black ankle boots are necessary! One adds an edgy touch and one is more classic, so depending on the outfit you may need to go more edgy or classic on the footwear. Lovely capsule!! ❤

I adore autumn fashion, I can’t wait to wear my cashmere sweaters, leather boots and wool blazers! It’s very cool for September here in San Francisco this year, but not quite cool enough yet for these old favorites. Shoes are tricky, it’s too cool for sandals, but too warm for boots, my footwear is heavy on these two because we really only have two seasons: a cool autumn, winter and spring and a very hot, long summer. I’m not a sneaker or pump gal, so would love suggestions for leather footwear for the transitional months, autumn and spring.❤

This a wonderful capsule wardrobe update! I have been following for years, and your videos are always so helpful and realistic. My style is similar- classic, casual, but with a touch of boho, and I live in a warmer climate. Yet, I find such great inspiration from your videos. One question: have you done a hair tutorial? I kind of remember one from way back, but I am guessing you have updated your hair routine and it would be great to see how you do it now.
I agree. I would love to know the product you use to give your hair that lovely ashy tone. When I use a silver shampoo and conditioner parts of my hair turn too silver, bordering on blue.

Looking at a sizing chart on M&S - a UK brand, the short is 29, regular is 31 and long is 33.
I wear the long which is 33 with flat shoes and trainers.
I'd definitely never order from Everlane then!

I can't wear blazers no coats, it's so uncomfortable :) I wear jeans jackets, fluffy jackets, shakets. softshell and similarly easy pieces. It's the same as I never wear narrow point shoes and heals. I don't want to suffer in my clothing :D

Question, don't the many pairs of shoes get uncomfortable? I find that I really need to break shoes in for them to be comfortable, and so I own really just a few pairs and struggle to find less casual options.
I don’t find any of the shoes I have uncomfortable no 😊 most of them are older and are already broken in 🙏🏻

I love classic wool blazers, but don’t want those oversized ones and can’t wear ones with the ubiquitous polyester linings. Still looking!
Tibi! They line with cotton 😍😍
Incredibly hard to find natural fabric linings. It just puts the price point right up. I recommend those with acetate. Not perfect but it is much more breathable than other polyester linings.
I thought of you as a minimalist due to your sustainability message but now I see all these garments laid out for one season, not even a combined Autumn/Winter, much less a whole year, I'm rather taken aback. Do what you like with your money, I for one am always searching ebay for other people's impulse purchases, but blimey you have acquired a lot of stuff. Even if you get mud on your jeans every single day when walking the dog, or paint when making art with your child, surely you have more stuff than necessary. Also, no hooded anoraks or parkas to protect your hair and clothes from rain? I assume all those blazers are for office duties. The whole impression is photogenic rather than real life. That said, I admire your style and I do keep coming back to your videos. I have used your tip of dyeing discoloured tee-shirts to extend their useful life so thanks.
I’ve been making content for over 7 years, I’ve also switched jobs along the way, moved cities and become a parent in between. Life stuff happens and style evolves over time, so yes my wardrobe is not 100% the same as it was once. Having said that I do still have lots of the same things and I buy most of what I add to my wardrobe preloved (jeans however I almost always buy from new). This capsule is for autumn yes, but most of it stays the same all through the year actually with just a few tweaks from season to season (most of which are found in storage from previous years). Minimalism and sustainability comes in many shapes and sizes, slow fashion and sustainable choices too is a very nuanced topic - I don’t ever try to preach being perfect though, and I continue challenging myself. I do however appreciate you watching and engaging with my content. 😊 Kindly, Signe

Are you scared of colour? Or patterns, different details and mixing prints? Ur wardrobe is very boring. My grandma (83) wears more colour and different silhouettes prints and so on
