This is the best lesson for anyone. I personally try to transfer some of my paycheck into savings after it shows up in checking every other week. The only thing I don't do is invest and save enough for a house. It's hard to keep up with this inflation and such. Plus, I do tend to be a little like Tevin when it comes to vacations. Gas prices may not have been much of a concern in 2015, but they were in 2022. It's also wise to have good credit.

I remember the days of getting an allowance and the first time I got an allowance for 10.00 and I spent around 9.00 on all my items from this store from Factory 2 U until my family and I moved to Georgia in 2005. We came back and 2 years from now, the store closed down in 2009 for good. I am working my way up to spending less and saving more but I’m on my way there so I’m thinking positive right now.
