Oh NO! A fork in the road. Glad you found the waterfall! Wow, quite a hike down, but the waterfall was worth it. I kept saying out loud "Don't Slip!" Happy 21st Wedding Anniversary! 🥳Beautiful photo captures. -Michelle
Hi Gary, another great vlog. Glad you got out that slippery dangerous area by the waterfall.
Belated Happy Anniversary, hope you got back home in time to enjoy it with your wife.
Looking forward to next vlog. 👍👍
Gary the art of photography doesn't always come easy. Wicked shots.
Gary I really enjoy sharing your adventures online.
please seriously consider taking along a companion when visiting these more strenuous locations,
All the Best John..
You do a great job showing your thought process and work flow, the in camera view brings it home. Great images again! Thank you!
Oh, what a beautiful place Gary. Thank you for the photos.
We really enjoy the in camera views and greatly appreciate the time and effort you put into so many difficult 'B Roll' shots to make the story complete. The photos at the end complete your incredible work. Thanks!!
Very kind, cheers 👍👍
love the in-camera views Gary. You're a brave man out in those dangerous conditions.
Beautiful images, but what a commitment to get the shot! Seriously impressed!
Cheers Bob 👍
Wild adventure ending with spectacular images! That Z8 and Nikon glass seem to be working just fine for an old Canon guy!!! Of course, you can get great images with any camera! Thanks for taking me along!
Congratz with your wedding anniversary, Gary and thanks for this splendid vlog!!!
Definitely like the camera views. What an awesome spot, i love a bit of a challenge. Congratulations on your 21st wedding anniversary!
Well done, Gary for your energy and determination to get the shot. Mr Intrepid scores again!🤣🤣
Yes, keep the in camera views. You are a much braver man than I to scramble down those banks then wade across running water over slippery rocks!
Remember don't stray from the path! Great video, always like your insight into your images and a great set of images. Thanks.
Fantastic images and the colours nice to watch 👍
You're one of my favorites. You deserve a million thumbs up
Very kind, thank you xx
A great video that shows how you like to play with fire, Gary. Still, those were epic photos.👌👌
Beautiful waterfall Gary but I very tricky route to get to it. In Camera view is very helpful to viewer's. Excellent images Gary, all beautiful. Thanks for showing us this waterfall.
Hi Gary stunning location. I love waterfalls. Happy Anniversary. 📸😊👍
Cheers xx
Congratulations to you and Paula on your anniversary and as ever thanks for the video.
Welcome home mate..
Hats off to you budd you get yourself in some situations 😅. Thanks for coming back home to take these beautiful pictures and all the efforts involved. You got to love Wales 🤟🤝
Thanks 👍
I’ve often thought when shooting falls in the area, I wish I’d brought a rope, normally when I’m scrabbling back up 😂.
Well done Gary for putting the effort in, and I hope you had a good anniversary evening 🥂🍾
Hi Gary. Fabulous shots. Yes to the POV helps a lot Thanks
Cheers Vince 👍👍
Water is so mesmeric
One of my favourite places yes difficult to get to but very rewarding. Give me a shout next time you are down more than happy to show you around.
Thanks Gary, I really like the "in Camera" view as it defines what you are looking at and I find that helpful. Beautiful images. Happy anniversary too.
Keep doing the in camera composition views as its really helpful. This is the 1 channel I always make sure I watch when a new video comes out.
Wonderful images Gary, thank you, that looked a tough climb . Really enjoy the in camera view too .
I know it was a bit of a journey getting to the waterfall, but your images were well worth it. They are beautiful!!
You are a lot braver than me, Gary. Leaving the Mrs at home on anniversary day, then climbing down that gorge. I'm so glad you did, though what great images.
Cheers Graham 👍👍
Best video I saw from you for ages. Thank you
Awesome trek and results. You don't look like the youngest or fittest guy in the world, but you get to where you need to. ⭐⭐
F... my heart was in my mouth as you crossed the stream on the slippery boulders Gary been in this position myself a time or two so can relate to the experience and you deserved those superb images, take care.
It was wayyyy worse than it comes across on camera :)
Cracking waterfall picture garry
Great video Gary…I love the in video comps you do..thanks for all of the hard work you do to brings us incredible videos
Sychryd Waterfall/gorge is great Gary, one of my favourites in the area, great video
Well they do say that vlogers do it twice and by watching your arse climb down that rock face, you definitely proved you did it twice and deserved that Like! Great video Gary, and yes, we do like the In Camera View and it enables us to picture what you see as you are explaining to us. Stay safe on those slippy rocks though.
You're right, I did climb my arse up and down twice :) Cheers Pete 👍👍
Superb Gary, I was up there two weeks ago and I was the only photographer on the day too and happy anniversary to you and your wife. Great work.
Cheers Pal 👍👍
That waterfall is called Sychryd Gary.. One of my locals.. And you are a brave man walking through that water because it is very slippery.. Amazing images..
Nice work Gary - beautiful shots!
Many thanks!
Great images Gary! Have to admit, I was a little nervous for you watching that stream crossing! Nice job staying dry!
Great video, Gary. I’m glad you made it back. ;). Happy Anniversary.
Fantastic effort Gary and well worth it they were stunning images ..I love the in camera shots by the way
Great shots! And great video. Oh and, congrats on the anniversary! See you soon. Cheers from Portugal.
Great images and well done for what must have been difficult getting the B roll. Happy anniversary to you both
Great work and LOVE the in camera view
Appreciate all your hard work Gary. It has to be time consuming just getting to locations never mind videoing all your efforts.
A really great video not just for the images but for the dedication to capture them going alone on the trecks could be dangerous as their is no one else near any mishaps could be bad. A really great set of images and your dedication is unbelievable, hope you got back in time for your celebrations enjoy the rest.
Gary, another great video and stunning location. The in-camera video I find very helpful both for composition and to better understand your thought process.
Lovely images, well worth the effort
Love the video! Thank you for the in camera view, it really helps.
Really enjoy your in camera views. Helps a lot to understand your explanations of the shot.
Thanks 👍👍
Very lucky to find the Sychryd waterfall if your going for eira not the best place to hike from to get to it. Done well climbing down that part mind . Nice images 👌
Cheers 👍👍
really enjoyed your video Gary, I can appreciate the hard work getting to your subject, I paid a visit there myself last week and walked 2 mile in the wrong direction and back so 4 miles walk before I started on the route, the falls are so steep of a climb to get down and back up again, I was knackered by the end of the day, back to your vidio, superb images you have captured here mate.
Unbelievable video Gary
Brilliant, as always. The in camera stuff is certainly helpful. And congrats on your anniversary!
Wow, those are some awesome award winning shots. I know that you, like me, are your own worst critic. Totally enjoy your videos. Thanks for the inspiration.
Nice photo mate 📷 and you made it back safely
In camera view is great i love it. I do enjoy every single video on your channel. Its the best channel out there!!!! Thank you! (i still got few to watch it and i watch every day:) )
Love the in camera view and you video style. Thanks
Love it!! Also like the in camera shot so we can see your composition 😎😎
Cheers Craig 👍👍
Superb shots Gary. Loved the location, but at 75 that’s about the closest I will ever get. Well done
Clearly precarious underfoot, but what a result! Superb 👌
The images are fantastic. Happy Anniversary.
Brilliant photos Gary. 👏In my opinion, it was well worth your effort! 👍
Happy Anniversary! Spectacular effort on this one for sure
I find your in-camera views to be very helpful. I have learned much about composition from your Vlogs
I like seeing the in camera shots Gary 👍🏽
Always like your work Gary and leave a thumbs up:)
Oh Gary, you had me screaming at the screen. Go Right, go right..oh dear. It’s a great location. The scramble down is hard work. O crossed the bridge and came down the muddy bank on the east side of the river, however the composition is not quite so good as the rocky plateau on the west side. As ever a great vlog. Many thanks.
lol don't worry, it's all about the adventure. Cracking place 👍👍
Hi Gary, great video mate, I know that area very well but have yet to make a photo trip of it.
This film has inspired me to dedicate a trip as soon as possible. Superb pics well done as always, best wishes Del
I have had suspicions that you are crazy, this video has removed all my doubts. Beautiful photos!
Stunning images Gary, as usual. Get yourself some longer wellies, I was expecting you to say your feet were wet.
Really enjoy and appreciate the in camera view, its good to see what you see. Great video and photos. Be careful Gary, photographers put themselves in "dangerous " situations for a photo...like risking missing your anniversary 😅😅👍📷📷
Happy Anniversary, great shots
Superb images as usual Gary, the danger was worth it.
Beautiful shots
Happy anniversary to you both. Fantastic images pal
That 24-120mm f/4 lens S is always in my bag.
They are all a bugger to get to but there’s a easier route 😅, happy anniversary both of you
Thank you 😊. Yes, the in camera view is invaluable.
Yes please to the in-camera compositions Gary. If that had been me I know I'd have been on my ass in the water from slipping on the rocks and with a camera insurance claim to complete! I hate to think how many times you were up and down that 'scramble' to move the cameras😆😆
What an effort Gary, and to share us your in camera views just makes it like we are on the journey with you as you capture your magic !!!!!
Thanks Judy 👍👍
Perfect Garry😊
Great shots Gary.
The mighty Gary Gough getting some shots in wales ❤ a few shots of nexts year trans Cambrian way would be good get in touch !! Awesome vid brother !!!
Cheers Grant. You just put a smile on my face 😂👍👍
Great Gary and happy 21st anniversary
absolute daredevil 👍 I'm expecting my new 70-200 nikon lens just in time for a weekend on Holy Island and hope to get to grab some special photos, but I won't be standing up to my knees in fast flowing water. well done and tremendous results. also tip for you I always take a photo of the board with the walk on in case I lose my way 😁 stay safe and happy anniversary 💓
The trouble with waterfall photography is that the best time to photograph them is when everything is wet and slippery. Living in sub-tropical Queensland, I'd be paranoid about leaches there too. That second last image was definitely my favourite.
worth a like just for thee entertainment when u nearly went over in the water 😂😂😂😂
Gary what can I say I have loved watching your videos because you really go through a lot of details in the way that you explain how you take the photos and compositions! I got told to check out your videos from a good friend of mine and yours I believe who is JP Appleton! He gave me my first lesson on Minimalistic Slow Exposure Photography down Corton Beach In Lowestoft Suffolk! I use the Nikon D850 and I brought a 16-35mm F4 VR from JP as he happened to be selling it at the time! So I’ve been watching a lot of your videos as I’m starting out into landscape photography more now especially slow exposure stuff! I have always been heavily into Wildlife Photography and have always had a bit of an obsession with Barn Owls and Short Eared Owls! But thanks for the great content it’s been a real help and I’ve learnt a lot from your videos which is truly great! I hope to see you around sometime! Take care Garry and all the very best! 😊
Jack has very good taste :)
The only problem you have using the D850 and the 16-35mm F4 lens is... you can't use the gear as an excuse 😁😁 Love the D850 👍👍
Hi Gary classic shots m8. Love how you explain your in cam details. Keep them coming.
Thanks 👍
You’re a braver man than I! Great shots!
Hi Gary,
Yes in camera is great . Cheers, Hugh
Great results Gary, what an effort! Fabulous as always.
Cheers 👍👍
Cracking Images Gary, even with the wrong lenses. Love the sense of adventure and risk, especially that of risking missing the wedding anniversary 🤣
Thanks Paul xx
Great images Gary. Hope you got back to celebrate your anniversary, sure the wife can't give you much grief when she's married to Indiana Jones.
Nice hat.
