  • Here is how to replace the battery on Bissell pet hair eraser cordless vacume and where to get the battery.
    If you go on and attempt to do this procedure do it at your own risk. Please check if your warranty has expired as This will void the warranty and if you are not sure about what you are doing please don't attempt any electrical handling. NiMa batteries are dangerous and they might catch fire please do this procedure at your own risk.
    When charging make sure the vacuum is off and if the charging light doesn't stay on when charging it means one or two of the battery cells are bad or completely depleted. Either change or replace the dead cells or replace the battery pack. When item is fully charged the red light should go off. Enjoy.

    Thank you.
    This is the first hand vac that we really liked.
    It did have a short run time though. At 1500mah, now I know why. One day we went to use it and it would run for a very short time and shut off. After a few times of that I put it back on the charger and checked it a little later and the light was off.
    Tried to use it and nothing.
    I watched your video a few days ago and ordered the battery pack, took it apart and I soldered the wires and used heat shrink on the soldered wires.
    Put it back together, charged it and it worked great.
    It even last about twice as long.
    Thank you very much.

    Nice video on the VACUUM. Ours will need a battery soon. Please be aware that some of the ratings for replacement batteries are bogus. This goes with all replacements. Claims about higher mA ratings may not be true. Would be nice if all batteries had a true ma rating, as some companies use inferior processes and claim 2500ma or 2600ma does not really happen.
    Not saying your replacement is over rated, but just so everyone knows, you can't believe 'some' companies claims.
    In any case THANK YOU for the video, this is a great little vacuum. We got ours at the grocery store on sale for really cheap, about $20 USD 5 years ago. I see they are still costing $70 USD new from Bissell. Take care.

      The new version uses a 14.4V 2000mAH Li-Ion pack and still takes 5+ hours to charge and 15min usage. I want to love this vac, but I might return it.

      @@genderrebeljo3051 Hope you have better luck. I have the new purple version Model 2390 and hoping it lasts. The filtration is the top selling point imo and I feel a few minor improvements could make this product s-tier.

      Same but you can just put the battery in that had the same rating and you can solder the wires to them and it will work

    How do I find Component-Shop on E-Bay?

  • @watcher818
    @watcher818 Před 5 měsíci +1

    Your source does not carry these anymore. We are in the USA, and have not found a replacement for this battery. I really don't want to create my own from single cells. I cannot find aftermarket batteries for this to fit in the vacuum.
    Bissell has apparently ignored the need to provide service items. The only things they show is the beater bar, a power head, and the filters.

    • @hrdcpy
      @hrdcpy Před 4 měsíci

      It's pretty lame that Bissell only sells one replacement battery and it's " Model No 1625424
      Battery Pack for Select Robotic Vacuums". They're now leaving it up to consumers to risk fire and buy an Amazon or eBay battery.

    Hi there Hom. I've found the battery replacement on eBay from component-shop, but I was just wondering, how exactly have you connected it back on? Did you just tie the bare wire ends (black to black / red to red) together then wrap insulation tape around, or use some sort of connector? Would be great if you could show how. Many thanks!!

    • @HomBKaviani
      @HomBKaviani  Před 3 lety +4

      Hi, thanks for your question and interest in my channel. That's the only way, black to black and red to red but for stability you can use shrink wrap and soldering them together as the battery is for RC toys only. Hope this will help. Cheers.

      Hi, thanks for your question. As I have mentioned in the video each cable will be connected to the corresponding colours meaning red to red and black to black, so there is no connector involved. Good luck and cheers for now.

    Would a bad battery cause mine to simply Power Off after a few seconds of running? even if it will power back on by hitting the power button? Seems if my battery was dead it would power off & stay off. - But it will come back on when I hit the power, but only run a few seconds. ANYBODY?

      If I read it correctly on other YT video comments. The responsible for that behavior is the switch itself.
      Not having a direct experience on the subject I can't help much more then this.
      Either case try to clean the electronic circuit of the switch and charge the battery directly might set you back on track again... Just a thought! Cheers
