Literally finished watching all 99 Episodes of Animaniacs (Unless you count Wakko's Wish as Episode 100, I'm still trying to find a way to watch it) and no joke, the Animaniacs Suite is the most touching and beautiful way to end a show until the reboot. I literally shed a single tear, it's that good.
That was me about a year ago when I was watching the show for the first time. I cried at the end of this segment and then immediately proceeded to watch Wakko's Wish (not my smartest idea; I was bawling). Beautiful way to end the series.
Every time I hear the ending, I love to imagine Richard Stone just throwing away his baton and waving his arms wildly as the orchestra comes to the big finish!!
Heck, even imagine him saying "Well...until we meet again...hopefully...that's all folks" and smiles at the audience causing them to let out roars of applause. he walks off as fireworks go off.
Animaniacs is the spiritual successor to Looney Tunes in a lot of ways, and Richard Stone's music compositions for the show reignited the spirit of orchestral scores in cartoons. Fun facts: 1- Richard Stone is often said to be a descendant of Carl Stalling, the original composer of Looney Tunes. 2- Animaniacs was scored by a 35-piece orchestra on the same scoring stage as looney tunes; the Eastwood scoring stage. 3- The show being scored by a real orchestra was a demand by Steven Spielberg the show's producer and WB couldn't object even if it was expensive.
I showed this to my friends at school and said, "This is real music." And as unbelieveable as it is, they agreed with me. This overture of animated orchestral music is the anthem of all the Animaniacs fans on the face of the earth as we wait patiently for the reboot. R.I.P. Richard Stone Edit:OMG, INKWELL HEARTED MY COMMENT! THANK YOU!😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 Edit: I shouldn’t have gone all fanboy over this, but thank you regardless
Okay, this entire medley is just... beautiful. I especially love how the Pinky & The Brain theme was arranged here; it sounds jazzy as all heck, and I'm all for it! All in all, there couldn't have been a better way to end the original series... unless you count Wakko's Wish, anyway.
The build up for pinky and the brain is amazing. Starting with two silent violins. Like two small beings walking around. But each one with their own melody. (One sillier than the other) Slightly procceding to add lower trumpets and tubas. Like something more sinister were about to happen. Then that frenetic version of the theme song pops out of nowhere! (The SFXs Adds a great atmosphere of Pinky and the brain relationship itself)
Whilst I find it disappointing that the last segment of the original show was essentially an AMV (thank goodness for the reboot) I have to admit this medley is god-tier. Seriously, it's AMAZINGLY orchestrated!
Inkwell Yeah, but it does sound like that song from that Marx movie though. There’s a dance break half-way through the song & when I heard it I said, “Hey it’s the Warner’s Theme!” Lol
The First Time I Watched This I Did Shed One Tear Off My Eye Because How The Ending Made Me Feel, I Had This Happy Goosebumps Feeling When All The Orchestra Was Playing All So Beautifully! How All The Trumpet's, Drum's, Symbol's Were Played At Those Last Moment's Really Hit Me At All The Right Places To Have That "Tear's Of Joy" Feeling But At The Same Time Having This Wonderful Happy Feeling When Seeing Them For The Last Time. Overall, This Was Played Beautifully With All There Heart And I Am So Proud And Happy That I Was Able See This Wonderful Piece Of Animation History!🎉😋💙❄️🧣
Does someone else finds EPIC that transition to the Pinky and the Brain theme? Omg, it is SO brilliant!

your best bet for getting wakko's wish would be to buy it on dvd or itunes or something like that
What about star warners
Shame WB didn't keep them as their mascots, they're literally the Warner Siblings
but they are a shame to the WB xd
@@pabloguzman8472 LOL THEY LOCKED THEM IN A TOWER

I'm from the future. They broke loose and then vamoosed. Now you know the plot.

jasobres that’s not just Rita’s theme that plays, it’s also an instrumental version of “Hello Nurse” the song
@@Sorcerer-SMC I'm guessing the theme specializes more on Nurse, Rita, & Minerva right?
The jazz style version of the Pinky & the Brain theme is so good
2:05 and the other animaniacs theme
I just love the random violent sound effects punctuating the whole thing lol
Yeah
@@garfeldi_gaming it gives it such an awsome identity to it
This piece alone screams for an official album release. Maybe they'll release a score album when the reboot starts next fall.
This aged well (kinda)
What I wouldn't do for an official score album

Now it's here Animaniacs 2020
This is "real music" as opposed to what?
@@charlotterouge8107 Well, as opposed to most modern music. But that’s purely my opinion.
@@DantheToonMan I think all music is real music; whether or not it's good is a different matter entirely

Animaniacs #99. That's almost 100. No really, that's almost 100! Better make it good.

Richard Stone who also collaborated James Horner in the Score for the Grinch Movie and also Danny Elfman's Score on Dolores Claiborne.
The pinky and the brain one is true cuphead.
