QUICK RELEASE and GREDDY STEERING WHEEL Install on the GR86!

- Finally installed my NRG 3.0 Quick Release and Hub on my GR86. Paired the Quick Release with my Greddy X Ken Gushi Limited Edition Steering wheel. Had a lot of headaches with this install but ultimately was happy with the outcome! Would highly recommend installing a Quick Release as well if you’re thinking about it. If you wait until the end I talk about the benefits and tradeoffs with installing one so I would stick around till then!

Highly considering it! I just changed the NRG quick release for the Works Bell which allows me to mount my steering wheel buttons but I'm still on the fence on if I actually need the Zestek one. If I do decide to get it I'll make a video on it

do the short hubs for the older brzs for for the 2022+ ones?
I’m not 100% sure but I would imagine they do! The splines on the hubs are exactly the same so I would think they do
@@Fin_mistake well, the hub you used is for the older brz, but I wouldn't see why they wouldn't work. Have you ran into any issues yet?
@@8we3t yeah that’s correct, I originally bought it for my 2013 brz but since it’s been down I ended up using it for the GR86. No issues other than the alignment issues I mentioned in the video! I’ve had it on the car for a little while now and all has been good! I remove my steering wheel basically every time I drive the car, 1-2 times a week and haven’t run into any issues with that

@@8we3t Awesome! Only thing I would say is to get an alignment after it’s done, It may be slightly off. Hope it goes well!
