Is it fine to drive it awhile before getting a tune? Did you get a check engine light immediatly?
some vehicles wont even bring up an EML light on, we do recommend getting it coded/ mapped out sooner rather than later tho to prevent any issues, but you should be fine.... this advisee is only given as a recommendation.

HI, what a great video for deleting dpf and installing the downpipe. just wonder that if we put downpipe there and does any faults comes up on the dash? or vehicle info? Thanks in advance
normally its fault code free, but still highly recommend getting the vehicle coded correctly for the downpipe, as the vehicle will still to regenerate and this can cause a crazy amount of heat to build up in the engine and worse case causing engine failure via melting injectors and pistons.... hope this helps !

You will need to will need to confirm that your vehicle is a n47 engine code not a m47...... if your insure please send your reg or vin to our email...... groovystance@gmail.com And we can let you know.... but if it is a n47 engine code this will fit your vehicle....

Does the car go into limp mode when renovering dpf whitout any remap?
hello, the car shouldn't go in to limp mode, and sometimes the vehicle won't even show an EML light on dash, but we do highly recommend getting the vehicle coded/mapped sooner rather later, to avoid and further issues.

Did you use original vband or a different one?
Original v band, but we do recommend replacing with a new as they can stretch not giving a tight seal and they quite commonly snap on removing.... we have new clamps available on our website.....

Hello callum, yes this will fit your vehicle, and tips and tricks wise, might be worth getting your self a new turbo clamp, (we also sell these on our website) incase your one snaps.... (very common they do) apart from that quite a simple little job to do.....

Any advice on getting the O2 sensor off the engine? I can barely reach mine
the plug for the o2 sensor should be in the side of the engine (above the downwpipe on the sensor plug board as such) disconnect the plug there and take the downpipe out with it attached and same for install....if your still having issues message us on Facebook or instagram and we can help you out ! cheers

We highly recommend getting the vehicle coded correctly, you don't need to get a remap as such, getting the DPF/CAT Coded out, this is normal cheaper than remap as well....

its all very dependent on what vehicle you have, with the length of exhaust and what box/silencer arrangement you have
Is that a cat and dpf in one unit? cause I have same on my f30 but i've already had dpf gutted and car mapped but just want to gut it but got confused when I seen what looks like the cat onto the flexi pipe and wondered where the dpf/cat was or if I've got them mixed up looks as though its either one or the other and others missing
Soo on on the f30 gen vehicles the CAT and DPF are all in the downpipe together soo if you have smashed out the downpipe you have no cat or DPF !
We have found for the best sound you ideally want a decat downpipe to stoop the hollow whooshing noise you get from a gutted DPF

all our decat donwpipes are sold for OFF ROAD use only, as they won't pass a DVSA vehicle inspection in the UK, due to being a modification to the emissions system.... so its down to your self what type of vehicle you fit the downpipe too, hope this helps
Wasup man! Isnt it suppose to have 3 connections with wires attached to the downpipe?

hey man just wanted to ask, do you know what size is the O2 sensor and EGT sensor? asking so i can get the impact versions with the cable slots :D but google says usually 22mm and 17mm but i have strong doubts about that...
22mm o2, and 14mm EGT, with the EGT we always recommend using a pair of "F grips/ water pump pliers'' as all spanners and sockets just round them (they are like chocolate)

You will get better gains with a remap having a decat downpipe fitted for sure ! Allows the engine to breath easier and makes it more drivable in the higher rev ranges

It depends on the mot tester some of my friends failed it but some of them passed with a downpipe.

in what regards ? we do recommend blanking the EGR as well but we dont see any issues with the EGR after downpipe install ?
