It has been 8 long years since the last record, and HYPOCRISY fans can feel the itch. WORSHIP is 11 tracks of precise, ferocious musicianship. Commonly inspired by the fusion of the modern and the ancient, HYPOCRISY has once more found a way to combine innovative ideas with classic sound in order to deliver something metalheads can enjoyably consume with awe and brutal vigor. As usual, all recording and mixing took place at Peter Tägtgren’s Abyss Studio AB in Sweden while mastering was completed by Svante Forsbäck at Chartmakers Audio Mastering. Designed by artist Blake Armstrong (KATAKLYSM, IN FLAMES, CARNIFEX, etc.), WORSHIP’s artwork speaks to the history of the relationship between humanity and extraterrestrials.

As for the album, i'm completely flashed. Worship is a masterpiece that makes me 41 year old the Hypocrisy fanboy I was as a teenager.
I've literally celebrate every song since it was released. At home over the HIFi system, on headphones, at work, I am paralyzed and these lyrics speak from my soul.
As someone who has lost everything important in his life and has the feeling of walking to his end alone through the broken world with its lost society, these melodies kill me and trigger almost too much in me.
It's overwhelming.
And not least because I feel that old Hypocrisy vibe again.
Peter himself will probably think, come down, but damn it, i love it.
This is how dying happy must feel.

14:05 Peter, there is a huge diffecernce between suspecting and knowing. Scientists till this day can't prove that another dimensions really exists. This is just hypothesis (and hypothesis is something different than theory)
The point is scientists didn't even entertain this idea and dismissed religious scripture that talk about dimensions cus its not written by some1 in a lab coat.
Also how alien enthusiats were dismissed as crazy conspirasts until the govt decide to make decades old info, public.

I get depressed at how much hypocrisy/Peter is slept on by metal fans.
And I get the notion that Peter is too, tired of putting so much effort into something that doesn't get the numbers for the quality and consistency with unique lyrics he delivers.
I feel as though his talented vocal range is wasted on pain.
Best melodic death metal vocalist out there.
My hope is we get 2 more albums of hypocrisy within 4 years but I doubt that will ever happen.
Well, we'll start by supporting this album and making it a success. Hypocrisy is definitely still a revered Metal band and let's hope the fans embrace this album just like they did the classics 👊
