    Love mine. It does exactly what I bought it to do. Highly maneuverable, excellent visibility...great for working around obstacles. Sits in the shed all winter and fires up with a bump of the key. Only problem I have had is a bent blade when I hit a big tree root. My fault, not the machine's.

    Thanks for the heads up. This was hysterical. I was on the verge of buying this but it looks way more plastic and breakable now that I see it in action. You're a riot!

    Just like he said perfect for a small flat yard. These have been around for many years under different trade names I have had mine for about 3 years its a TB ( troy built ) and thank goodness i got mine when i did cause the price of these are out the roof just about 2 grand with 6 speed transmission for that much i would not even consider one anymore better off buying a 42" riding mower about the same price. Even the 42" riding mowers that you could find any day for around 1 grand are now over 2 grand the price of all lawn mower just went out the roof, better hold on to those old ones as long as your can. Oh one more thing NO NO HILLS this will tip over to easy cause of the center of gravity.

    I thought I liked to have one. I went by the Lowe’s store in Springdale Ark. Sat on it, the mounting bolts on the seat frame broke immediately. I checked them out, they were aluminum bolts, destined to break easily. Before I buy one, I would have the store put in hardened steel bolts. Oh, by the way, I am 6 ft and and weigh 190. Shouldn’t happen.

    I had a Murray 30" like this 10.5 Briggs didn't have the go pedal or push in button reverse switch as I just un hooked the ground wire to deck so it could mow in reverse never had ANY issues with it cut great the deck had no wheels so if u go over a high spot u have to raise the deck or end up shaving your grass to the dirt. A friend has one of these cub 30" and has worked great no issues with go pedal even goes up hills just fine.

    I bought one before watching this video. I'm returning it tomorrow. This machine only has 1 job and that is to cut grass. It can't do that. I made 2 laps around my front yard and the mower deck clogged up with grass and the engine quit. I'm not willing to rinse the deck out every second lap, not going to happen. I have a slightly rough front yard and it either highsides and the drive wheel comes off the ground or it just stops like a child that isn't getting its' way. If you are asking where this mower will work, here it is. The yard MUST be a 3' thick slab of tempered glass, the thicker the better. surface variations cannot exceed 0.003" overall. But be warned, if a robin or a squirrel does his business in your yard, this will get stuck. Save your money longer and buy a mower that can mow. If you still end up buying this, you only did it for the free hat.

      I find it to be good. The tires were garbage so I put some better ones on it and oversized front ones and as with any mower having a sharp blade is key.

    I think when this mower first came out it was 850 or something like that. Now over 2k inflation.

    I've had my original CC30 with the Chinese Honda clone engine and without the hydrostatic transmission for about 10 years now and don't have any major complaints. Anything that has gone wrong with it has pretty much been my fault.

    I have the same one,my broke before my first mow.
    My dad fixed it and now it just did it again and I have no idea how to fix it.
    The clutch won’t press down to release the parking brake.
    He told me it was a safety switch.
    I dropped the deck and messed with the safety switch but it seems to be working correctly.

    I too bought a CC30H last spring and my yard is all hills and banks, alot steeper than they recommend. I ended up filling the tires with windshield washer fluid and it made a big difference. Ground has to be dry and have to ride half the seat when sideways on some banks. Only problem I've had is a month ago compression release quit working, valves were way loose for some reason. Hopefully that's the end of that but it's concerning.

    • @Justdubbin
      @Justdubbin  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Filling the tires is a good idea, I might try that in the spring .

    I bought this mower against my husband's advice because I thought it would be a nice little mower for an old lady. It is hard to describe how much I hate this thing. It gets stuck on the slightest incline - always on 3 wheels with one spinning in the air. It's tippy and terrifying. If you make too sharp a turn, the front wheels will get jammed. It mows unevenly. As the video says - the reverse button no longer works. Also it's supposed to stop if you get off the seat - it does not. The worse part is that I have to listen to my husband say "I told you so" every time I complain about it.
