Excellent products. I have one pair that I got from HIGH N DRY last year and I'm happy with it. It developed a small leak so I called Ian and he gave me some ideas on how to find the leak and how to fix it and asked me if I wanted to return it and get a new one. I was able to find it and fix it. This year I fell hard on my knees while getting my kayak on top of my car and had a small tear on the left knee pads but it saved my knees from getting cuts and no holes in the waders. This company stands behind its products. I had the chance to visit their place in VA last year and planning to visit them again this year and get me some additional merchandise.

I am on my 3rd season with my high n dry breathable waders. I still recommend these to my friends and if I’m recommending to them I would do so to all. Perfection suggestions from these waders are purely comfort. A fur lined hand warming pocket and would suggest elastic placed in the back attaching the should straps for mobility purposes. But how could I complain when these have been by far the most durable waders I have worn to date. Don’t pass up a chance while there is inventory you may regret it.
Thanks Joel for bringing this product to my attention and thank you High n Dry for a Great product

@@xboxsavage1175 The High N Dry waders are great! They need a better retention system for the excess length on the shoulder straps, but that is my only complaint. I have great mobility in them, they are very durable so far (my waders usually take a beating), and the boot shape fits me better than any other wader boots I've ever worn. If you are used to always wearing neoprene waders, you will have to wear an extra layer on the bottom though. The first time I jumped in the water with them, I was surprised at how much I could feel the temperature of the water through the material. Lol

Well,,, after a year of research and watching your videos,,, I pulled the trigger and got me a pair of those High N Dry waders... WOW!!!! thats about sums it up. Very well built and yes, the boots are the BEST I've ever seen on a pair of waders. The ONLY things I kind of frowned on was the lack of two belt loops on the left and right side to hold the belt around your waist when you unbuckle it and No keepers to hold the excess shoulder strap material. (But I did fix that by roll folding them inward and using a cut strip of bicycle tubing that I use on my decoys as a rubber band to secure the line after wrapping them up for pick up) just stretched it around the buckle and it holds it tightly together, works great.

We have a similar story, we hunt hard and in very variable temps and in very remote locations where stepping in a hole and getting wet can be life threatening. We started Predatorgear to solve our issues. These are complete camo drysuits, they are breathable and you can use any wading boots or even Converse high tops and throw them away and the end of the season. Layer as needed for warmth inside the waterproof shell. We did include a waterproof relief zipper and can make with a bomb door for women. You can go in over your head and get nothing wet but your head and hands!

Best wader I ever owned....Early 90's Cabelas made one called the 600 DENIER CORDURA BRUSH BUSTER. Not to be confused with the 1000 D BRUSH BUSTER that came later and was like walking in a suit of armor. the 600d was not insulated and as basically a laminated wader made entirely of 600D. I hunted seaducks on the coast of Maine, ran trapline and everything in between for over 10 years in these waders and they kept asking for more. I wrote to Cabelas to let them know the history of these great waders and they could care less. Sitting on crustations is not easy on waders!

I install many docks and boat lifts in spring and remove them for winter. The high and dry are twice the price of regular. I buy 2 sizes bigger. I have tried many types and price points. I just buy a pair of frog toggs every year. Where the seems come together at the crotch is where they usually leak or at boat top. I usually just use black rtv silicone to patch them. Old waders make great scary crows. I use the old boots as rubber boots. The old waders make great pads for things. My dog under his blankets has a pair with legs and straps cut off for extra padding.

I do have a question for you Joel. In your video, while in the mud room you were putting on and taking off waders. I am interested in your lightweight pants with the stirrups built in. I have a heavy duty pair I wear when its cold. I love the stirrups and how they keep your pant legs in place. I have been watching for a pair of light weight ones that have pockets for wallet, keys, etc... For early season when its still warm out. Joel, With the breathable wader, how much more layering do you do to stay warm in below freezing temperatures in comparison with neoprene waders? I hunt a lot of subimpoundments and have to stand knee to crotch deep in water and most of the time, all I need is a good pair of wader pants and heavy tall socks with my neoprene waders. I am concerned that I will have to bulk up to stay warm.

When it’s below freezing I wear skin layer, a 2nd thin fleece layer, and a wader pant over top. 1 pair of darn tough heavy weight socks. But most of my water depth is knee deep or less. The issue of getting cold only becomes a thing at waist deep water for an hour or more.

Yes, Peet boot dryers are good. I have one. The one you saw in the video was a portable boot dryer. I got it from Mack's Prairie wings. It's called a Dry Guy Travel Dry.

Love my breathable waders. Some things I would like to see in version 2.0. Wish they went up higher on my chest. Compared to other waders, these dont go up as high as I would like.
A better pocket for my phone. The velcro is pretty loud and the inside pocket is very awkward to flip up and out.
The extra strap material above the shoulder buckle flap around a lot. Would like something to either keep them down or some other way to not have them flopping around.
I may get some insoles as my feet start to hurt walking around in the boots. I have high arches so I need the arch support.

You must be a tall fella, mine come up to my armpits. I know they look a little short on tall guys. I cut my straps off and burnt the ends... problem solved. I’d be interested in your suggestion on how to make a better phone pouch. Everyone has basically the same thing on their waders. I’m not sure how you’d improve the Velcro either.

@@SurvivingDuckSeason I'm 5' 10", I was thinking of getting some velcro straps like you use for cable management for desktops and wrap them around the straps to keep them from flopping around.
