Arno died in December 2016 GROTJAHN, Arno Karl. Late of Vindex Street, Winton, Qld. A Private Cremation was held for Arno on Thursday, 15th December, 2016.

My mother mined opal in Lightning ridge for around 10 years & found more opals in the tailings left behind by other miners than in the ground.
