    Q9 beaker B will release more gas because not only has it got double the weight on the plunger (40kg vs 20kg), but also a bigger opening area.
    Q10, The right side has a 6 kg weight hanging 4 units out making 24kg-units and 4kg of bar hanging an average of 2 units out making a total of 32kg-units for torque.
    The left side has 10 kg hanging 2 units out and 2 kg hanging at an average of 1 unit out making 22kg-units of torque, meaning the bar will tip down on the right hand side with the 6kg weight. (Ignoring the 1/3 of the unit to the right and left of the weights but that will only cause even more weight on the right hand side). Quite difficult to answer this in 15 seconds.

      100. the only way it can be equal is. if the weights are flipped. heavy weight with small opening or lighter weight with a bigger opening.

    I appreciated the the videos, however somethings, even if you ignore the "real world minutia", are not being explained accurately.. eg: Q5: yes there is "some object" but the force is all applied now to the base pushing towards and up against the mass, whereas the hands on guy has natural leverage over that mass... also Q9: Yes the pressure of gas leaving each beaker is in theory the same but the VOLUME of gas leaving is also equal for an ENTIRELY different reason. Again i appreciate the help learning but do make sure it stays helpful. Thanks mate!

    Q8. Read what would fall faster when thrown from the same hight😮. The higher one is. You have to add velocity to your gravitational force. So yeah the heavier the object is the faster it’s going to move.

    Q10: To balance the bar, you would have to have 5 lbs on the right (double the distance - half the weight). We are showing 6 kg on the bar, so the bar is not balanced.

    • @tandrik6297
      @tandrik6297 Před rokem +1

      correct. Question needs to ask which beaker produces more pressure. Not more gas. In this case B produces more volume to escape hence more gas

  • @fuzyprojects
    @fuzyprojects Před 3 lety +1

    In question 5 for B to be the correct answer the man would need a fulcrum under the lever or he could apply an upward force on the lever

      From the way the stick is bending it looks like he's trying to flick the ball - which would require much more force and load on the back than a simple push. Surely it would look more natural with it bending the other way if his intent is to lift the end to nudge the ball forwards.

    Question six is a different if you know how to cut down a tree. The question should ask what side the wedge is cut. As when one cuts down a tree its cut from both sides.

    Graphics need work. In the first question all the gears have the same number of teeth 18. So all the gears should rotate at the same RPM regardless of their diameter

      The smaller the gear= faster the more teeth = faster as well. Since they all have the same amount of teeth, the smaller one will still be faster 💯

      I think question 9 is wrong because 40kg has a bigger opening then 20kg beaker, therefore beaker B will release more gas.
