    Taking my test tomorrow, looking to get a 50 or above for the AFQT and a 110 or above on the GT score. Wish me luck!
    Update: so the first time I took the practice afqt I only scored a 43, then being giving a weekend to study before my test, i used this video and also the asvab app on my phone and studied hard as hell. I took my test this morning and scored a 66 for the afqt and got a 106 for the GT score which was enough to qualify for what I wanted. Thanks for posting this video for help!

I hope the test on the ASVAB is the same as the 2014 flash cards I bought because all these examples of questions this guy is showing is identical to my flash cards. This video still helped be a lot because the test is most likely 2014's based test, also it can just be off the flash cards. All these flash cards cover all 9 subjects.

      @@saiello2061how is it 4 times the area of piston A ? Piston A is 3 inches and piston B is 6 inches , isn't piston B 2 times piston A ?

    • @saiello2061
      @saiello2061 Před 9 měsíci

      @@ssppooppcristi6734 B is 2 times the DIAMETER of A. BUT....... B is 4 times the AREA of A.
      The formula for the area of a circle is: Pi * Radius * Radius.
      Where Pi is a constant and more or less = 3.142
      And Radius is half the DIAMETER of the circle.
      For A:
      Radius = Diameter / 2 = 3 inches / 2 = 1.5 inches.
      Area of A = 3.142 * 1.5 inches * 1.5 inches = 7.07 square inches.
      For B:
      Radius = 6 inches / 2 = 3 inches.
      Area of B = 3.142 * 3 inches * 3 inches = 28.3 inches
      Therefore, the AREA of B compared to the AREA of A is:
      AREA of B / AREA of A = 28.3 square inches / 7.07 square inches = 4
      So the AREA of B is 4 times the AREA of A.
      If B is 4 times the AREA of A, then however much B moves, it will displace 4 times the VOLUME of A.
      As an example: If B moves one inch, it displaces: 28.3 inches of AREA * 1 inch of DISTANCE = 28.3 cubic inches of VOLUME.
      Because A an B are hydraulically connected, A has to move as much as it allows it to accommodate the 28.3 cubic inches of VOLUME provided by B.
      So, to get the DISTANCE moved by A, divide the VOLUME provided by B by the AREA of A = 28.3 cubic inches of VOLUME / 7.07 square inches of AREA = 4 inches of DISTANCE.
      So in the above example, A MUST move 4 times the distance that B does simply because B is 4 times the AREA and therefore will move 4 times the volume.

    Sorry but in question 415 why the correct answer is 10 ??? : if the length is the same in both sides for be balance there should be the same weight in each side so the correct answer should be 15lb ?

    • @alexmiller5796
      @alexmiller5796 Před 6 lety +2

      I’m pretty sure it’s because the distance of the 10lbs weight is closer to the center so it has less pull on it.

      @C-13770 Před 6 lety

      No. Hes right. If you put 15 on it that side would bottom out

    • @senpaihabit6232
      @senpaihabit6232 Před 6 lety

      Its still 10 ft on each side so itd have to be an equal force to balance out it has to be 15.....right?

    • @C-13770
      @C-13770 Před 6 lety +1

      Jimi Vanstory right it does need to be an equal force. But imagine your holding a 10ft pole with a 10lb weight on the end and you have to hold it straight out. Now imgine you move the weight to the middle. Dont you think if will be 2X as easy? Cause putting the weight on the end increases the footpounds of force is doubled

    413 is supposed to be 4 inches. a2/a1=d1/d2 (6)^2/(3)^2 = 36/9 = 4 inches...

      Gravity will force the water to be level, so if the water in the tank is higher than in the tube, the water level in the tube will increase and the water level in the tank will decrease to become level all the way through

      I think if for example you get a 50 it means you scored 50% higher than whoever takes it, something like that, if that even makes sense.
