    Lovely seeing all these *Arab* cars and *Arab* lorries driving past. Reminds me of Tunis 34 years ago!

    I never realised Malta was so populated and had such a huge traffic.
    I like to see all the old Bedfords and Ford Ds

    Surprising that there are so many old British made trucks like Leyland and Bedford in Melta today and seem still running good!

    That English Dodge at the beginning was a rare beast. I think I'd only ever seen old pictures or models of those.

    all these use to be a familiar sight on UK roads same as the S&D Dustcarts which are still used in Malta

    This has been like stepping back to the 1970's for me when I was a teen - Not since then have I seen so many working Bedford TK's and D series Fords - ERF - Leylands etc etc....
    Maybe its the lack of modern computer wizardry and just simplicity that keeps these old girls running / working.
    Great to see though nonetheless 5*

    do the maltese not understand lane discipline?

  • @buffi944
    @buffi944 Před 14 lety

    yes erf and bedford, they would run at 50 mph or faster, now the newer faster trucks on the road run at 80 mph and are at the same time not allowed to pass 50mph. silly rules been made by the eec.
