    The Sacramento Kings destroyed the Golden State Warriors in their first 2024 NBA Play-In Tournament matchup, giving them a shot at the playoffs. The Kings executed extremely well on defense, with Keon Ellis matching up against Steph Curry for a large portion of the night with great success.
    Additionally, the Sacramento Kings ran a good amount of their offense through Keegan Murray, and he looked virtually unstoppable both shooting off the catch and off the dribble.
    Now that we've seen the Warriors knocked out of the postseason, the question on everyone's minds is if this is really the end of the road for the dynasty. And if it is, it was the Sacramento Kings who drove the final nail into the coffin.

    I knew it was possible the kings could beat the warriors but i didn’t expect the kings to dominate the warriors in the fashion they did. This loss was the final nail in the coffin of the warriors dynasty. But shoutout to keon ellis he’s been really good since replacing kevin hurter in the starting lineup and glad he balled out in a bigtime game on a national stage

      Kerr should've benched klay especially when moses moody and other bench players got going smh. He just let klay shoot over and over despite being cold

    The Kings didn't defeat the Warriors. Klay's ego, Draymond's accountability, Kerr's gut, Steph's laid back personality and Wiggs' inconsistency defeated themselves.

    The problem is that Klay might not take a pay cut, so it all depends on what he wants, if he wants to continue being a warriors he’s gonna have to take a pay cut so that the warriors can make moves. This offseason is going to be interesting. People are over exaggerating over one play
    -in game. Warriors record wasn’t even bad, this season the west simply was crazy. It’d be different in a 7 game series, but you’re talking about a one game elimination round….

      @zsomborszigeti6797 Před měsícem

      Their season was way worse than their record would suggest, they went 7-20 against top 10 teams in the league up until March (I couldn't find the stats for the rest of the season) which is just horrible. If you were watching them you knew that they would need 40 from Curry to beat the Kings and even then it was a question. Also Steve Kerr needs to be fired ASAP.

    • @zsomborszigeti6797
      @zsomborszigeti6797 Před měsícem

      Also it's not like they have that much time left. Curry has at most 2 more all-nba level seasons and even that's a stretch not to mention Dray and CP.

      Nope. They don't have a DPOY power forward they trust to be the primary ball handler, or two players who are top 10 on the all-time _made_ 3pt table.
      The Kings, for better of worse, are nothing like the Warriors.

      Some of them are trying, but 1) they get very little playing time in the regular season anyway and 2) Kerr seems to have next to no schemes that make use of their (currently unrefined) talents.
      If you give the younger barely any play time, it's gonna be hard for them to step up when it matters most.
