Lots of work to put away all the beautiful decorations but I agree - coming home to a clean slate will be wonderful and that was smart to do it ahead of the trip! Your storage for ornaments is brilliant - I ordered two for myself and think they will take up less room than the way I've stored all the special ornaments before - so thank you!
First of all, so sorry you are working while on hols! Also so bad that you are ill on hol too! Poor you. I think it’s a mum thing, getting ill the minute it’s time to relax…probably because we do SO much leading up to the hol, packing, prepping, cleaning….that we EXHAUST ourselves 😥😂 Get well soon

So early! I thought traditionaly Christmas tree and decorations are kept until 6th January, 3 Kings. I guess when you put up decorations in November, by the time comes Christmas you would be itching to get them down.

Just be careful with the fabric bags if you are putting them in the garage, living near fields there will be mice around and they might take a liking to the fabric, makes great nest material 🐭
We moved near fields in the summer. The Christmas stuff survived but my husbands golf bag,shoes, jacket and even the umbrella handle were nibbled! After the shock I think he was quite pleased as he can now buy everything new!😂.
