Wolf primers not a weak hammer spring cause light primer strikes.

- I thought the fix was replacing the hammer spring on my SDS S4. Turns out Wolf 209 primers are really hard! Anyhow, I went down a rabbit hole in this video same. I am uploading it so you don't do the same.

Yes, Russian primer cases are harder, Barnaul, Wolf, Com bloc surplus, either harder metal or slightly thicker casing. I can see the difference in strike depths between US made ammo and Russian made ammo in my pistols as well.
Can you sharpen and or case harden the firing pins??? I have heat treated / case hardened internals on trigger jobs as std. Practice on most of my mechanisms.
