It would of been great if the New York city Transit authority had bought some 40 foot New flyer High floor buses between 2001, and 2004. At least 400 of them. They would probably still be making them.
New Flyer's model the C40HF stopped production in 2000, and the D40HF's stopped in 1994-1995. So even if they wanted to, it would have been impossible, unless they were hand-me-downs from other transit agencies.
