Something feels odd, like you don’t have enough pressure in the full suspension bike, and maybe body movement. But to be honest, both are good, the hard tail is there if you feel like a crazy rider that wants to shred on a hard tail.

@@geralddadap1761 no I’m just saying if your testing to see how much shock the person feels to their body then the full suspension should be at a higher pressure. The shock appears to be doing nothing but bottoming out and not reducing any shock.
Bro they are fun! You have to be a good rider because you need to take lines right. Better body movement and you’ll find that they are actually pretty fun as well! 👍🏻
Bro as someone who literally works at the bike shop he’s fine. Unless ur on a DH bike ur gonna bottom out he would need about 400 psi mot to and at that point the suspension would suck
Too much pressure pops the inner tube or causes a pinch tear bc there is too much tension when hitting the ground that hard. So lower pressure is more ideal. If you want to go fast and not doing drops like that then high pressure good
Personally I like my HT because I'm able to go full send on the peddles and I don't have to worry about any suspension getting in the way and adding more (unnecessary) movements when I ride hard.

Shocks are not setup for the right pressures or there is some damage prior to the jump. For the weight of the rider and the height of that drop the rear shock should not do that. Might as well use a marshmellow for a shock.

I love them both, a hardtail with the right geometry can do pretty much everything full suspension does, it only hurts more 😀
True, I use a Planet X jackflash 26er and it’s so fun and easy to mess about with and I can do trails “hardtails aren’t mean for”

You need to check your style XC bike VS enduro bike. Because change frame to change geometry is a big big issue
Hard-Tail = Stable, Cheaper, handle climbs
Full-Suspension = comfortable
You need more pressure in those shocks because they are bottoming out pretty hard which is a good way to ruin them

the fully isn't set up properly, it bottoms out instantly and doesn't make the drop any smoother. Just put more air in it and it should work fine

those legs on the fs rider look like they going to snap becaus they never learned to absorb a shock themselves

Why do so many people these days have their suspension on their bike set so low? They would bottom out just jumping the curb lol.

Dude you need to lower your seat all the way if you're going to do jumps, and if the seatpost doesn't go any further mark it and cut it off

Shocks are not setup for the right pressures or there is some damage prior to the jump. For the weight of the rider and the height of that drop the rear shock should not do that. Might as well use a marshmellow for a shock.
