I got a chance to see some the other videos, I had no idea Greenock incurred that much damage during the war. Thanks again, can't wait to see the city in person!

I left Greenock in 1957, although I go back 2/3 times a year, the town is not the same, we have the Greenock Mall, which is from Westburn St. to the Municiple Building, if your lucky there might be a Liner in at the deep ater berth at Princes Pier, I have driven around Greenock a few times, roads are gone which I knew, dead ends, mainly around Ann St and Roxburgh St, you will have great joy wandering around, have you looked at my other videos on here of Greenock.??

Hi Billy, great video! I will be coming from Canada to visit Greenock in October with my wife; it is the birthplace of my grandmother. I was wondering if you could possibly recommend any main attractions to see while in the city? Thanks kindly.

Hi ..Greenock got well & truely battered during the war, I spent the war years in Poplar Street, Gibshill, if you want to go to my blog which is Gibshill 1940's 1950.s, you might find it a wee bit interesting, I'm still writing it, more to add then polish it up a bit
