She is a terrible friend bro. The fact that she even asked her to do this after what happened is insensitive imo. Then shake the ladder 😐 once we touch ground we aren't friends anymore.
@@Carter-te9pr that just my opinion ur welcome to have ur own and feel however u want to feel about her. I'm not trying to convince u. I think she is not a good friend. That's me. If u think she is, that's u.
@Carter She literally had an affair with her husband. Her whole reason to peer pressure her friend to to climb the tour was a selfish reason. Crazy how psychopathic pple can be to think that's a good friend.
In the behind the scenes they said that the top 100 ft of the tower was a real tower that they built, so they did have to climb up and down 100ft everyday of shooting since they have to do takes multiple times . The girls said they had to fix their hands with cgi for the beginning part of the movie because their hands were so torn up from climbing the tower over and over. They also did all of their own stunts, the stunts were 100% real, just 100 feet up instead of 2,000.
33:00 - What’s so much harsher in hindsight (once you know the twist) is that you can HEAR Hunter hit the satellite if you listen closely. 💔 There’s also some gnarly foreshadowing when Hunter joked “the first of us to fall has to take the phone down with her to call for help”. 💀
I heard the fall as well. Also, if you notice Becky is the only one that is fatigued and dehydrated while Hunter isn't. That's when I realized something was going on.
Yeah when I first watched it I just thought it was just a weird sound choice. Also, as soon as she voluntarily held herself off the edge I was like, nah, she's dying.
Even if it's just the small half-day trip I always bring snacks the fact that they didn't bring any food at all thinking they're going to be done by lunch is crazy.🤪
fun fact, the actresses were actually up 100ft on the tower production built. They shot as much as they could practically, in a desert, on top of cliff, to give as much real height as possible and safely
When she was charging the drone, I think the vulture came for her because her leg was starting to rot. Plus her friend was certainly rotting by then, so it's like the vulture dinner bell was ringing. I'm sure that vulture was annoyed she still had some fight left in her.
The tower was decommissioned for it's og intended use. But the light is there to keep planes from hitting it. So I'd think that the integrity of the structure would be maintained in order for the maintenance person to change the bulb. Or the tower would have been destroyed altogether.
The tower should have been torn down so stuff like that could be prevented cuz this Tower does exist in real life it's in California what if somebody tries something like this somebody who hasn't seen this movie of course

*Spoilers if you’re reading the comments while watching the video: It honestly makes sense why the vultures were constantly there “bugging” them. Since vultures are scavengers, they find food wherever so they can eat. After the main girl’s best friend tried to reach the backpack, she didn’t make it and bled to death. That’s why the vultures were surrounding them. Correct me if I’m wrong, this is just my hot take about the plot twist. Which actually the plot twist reminds me of a scene in the movie 47 meters deep. I won’t say which scene but if you’ve seen the movie then you know what I’m talking about.
This is the first movie I saw in theaters after the pandemic. I intentionally picked something that looked like a total B-movie, because I just wanted something uncomplicated and fun. It's not exactly a classic, but it'll have a place in my heart because of that.
Something I noticed is after she “dies” initially first in the movie, after that point she doesn’t interact with anyone or anything in the real world. She doesn’t touch the drone, she doesn’t really have an explanation into why she didn’t catch the bag when Becky drops it when she tried to charge the drone
There's also that part when Becky was naming wrestlers and when she forgot one, Hunter reminded her. She said, "I thought you didn't watch wrestling." And Hunter replies, "I don't."
this movie is crazy it’s not even cgi! they were actually up there with a whole crew and everything and i believe they had a helicopter on standby as well
Omg, I remember going to Disney with my friend and being terrified to go on the Soarin' ride too. 🤣 She eventually convinced me and it honestly wasn't bad!
the way workers have fallen off the real tower, its not rusted, and lived since they are tethered to it is wild. just a bad day at work means hopefully only hanging off the side staring at clouds.
This movie was a horror movie for me! Lmao this was terrifying. Well done movie, made my stomach churn for a straight hour. Low budget movies do what they can, so the CG could only be so much. But damn did they do a stellar job with what they had. Awesome reaction.
My dudes, this movie is so effective at making you have so much anxiety! Once you get past just how dumb it is to do this, it is a great thrill ride. Happy New Year to you both!❤
I love the part when Becky nearly dies when the ladder falls off and they laugh about it but then they act surprised when they can't get down because the ladder fell off. This movie is fucking TERRIFYING. Falling to your death from 2000 feet has got to be one of the worst ways to go. You'd be falling towards the ground for at least 15-20 seconds knowing you're 100% going to die. I'd probably try my best to starve to death instead. They had some good ideas but missed the most obvious one. Wait until night then use the torch on their phones to send SOS signals or just wave them around erratically.
So before I press play on this reaction .. I want to give honorable mentions and praise to the Madison Beer for that GORGEOUS original song for the film … “I have never felt more alive” is such a bop!
They didn't even think to use shoelaces. They could have tied all their shoelaces together and added it to the rope and that would have given them way more length . They could have Even tide all their clothes together.
Please watch Last Shift (2014) next! This movie is a rollercoaster. Major underrated with jump scares, super dark, badass lead girl, and the buffoonery that goes on is insane!! Please please please watch this as pitch black as you can too 😉 have fun!
i like the way her dream in the darkness reflected her reality more than what we were seeing beforehand. And its a goodremake of the original nightmare in bed also reflecting her reality. Might not be a top tier movie but its well made to say the least.
So this is like 47 Meters Down only the opposite direction and half different outcome. No and no to both. Best death option would be to fall asleep, roll off, and stay asleep the whole way down. Had to look up the actress that played Hunter because I really thought it was Reese Witherspoon's kinfolk.
This movie had my hands and feet literally wet the entire time LMAO!! I enjoyed yalls perspective on this, yall are so funny... A movie you should check out next is called "the last decent" its a true story about John Jones who got stuck upside down in a cave underground. I feel you, Sergio. You can bombard me with whatever sick ideas and imagery you want or just play silly buggers with the soundtrack and scares and you might get a reaction out of me, but as soon as someone is more than seven feet off the ground I'm white-knuckling it 😅
This movie is great. I wasn't sure what to really expect, but this movie surprised me. I loved and hated (heights) it. I squirmed in my seat a lot. You guys are great. I loved the reactions and hearing your thoughts.
If you watch the behind the scenes for this film, you'll find out that the 2 girls actually did all their own stunts and an actual 100ft tower was built for the film so when Hunter falls, she is actually doing that. They both had to train as well. There were real vultures around as well but don't worry, none were hurt in the making of this film.
I felt like Sergio during this watch! Mine is more fear of edges. I'm fine in a skyscraper or airplane, but climbing a stepladder.... I'm trembling like a little girl! Also, I really liked Cody's fact checks at the end. Maybe something you could do more often? Thanks for the content guys!

Exactly! And they only brought ONE small bottle of water! Craziness

It's not that I'm scared of fights either it's that I'm scared of falling and having a gruesome death that's what I would be scared of
