Butter chicken or murgh makhani is always a favourite in Indian restaurants, this recipe is fairly easy and cooks the chicken in the oven. You can also cook it in a pan, on the stove, but it's the roasting flavours that make the difference. There's chili it's spicy and it's hot, so of course adjust it to your taste. No sir , it's not authentic recipe of butter chicken , in butter chicken we never use onions ,gravy consists only tomato pure, butter and cream with some Garam masala and red chilli powder

Tips from an Indian kitchen:
Try to add dried fenugreek leaves during simmering, they add to a buttery taste.
Don't add garam masala to a cold pan, fry the onions first, then add the masala on.
Do not use whole spices in this dish cause even after blending, they can overpower the dish aroma. Just add their spice powders. or add tandoori masala readily available.
All in all u did a fine job at it. Keep them coming. Try out "palak paneer" recipe if you can.

Wonderful recipe. But first I just put the marinated chiken in the hot pan not in the oven until golden and then I remove it in a plate and add the onion in the same pan and folow the recipe. It smell so wonderful While the sauce is cooking. The pleasure begin just when you begin cooking.
