Love these videos, and knowing every road and field.
Saw a video stating they don’t balance well and they become out of round. Is this a common issue?
that was the smoothest burnout ive ever seen lol
My truck seems to wander with these tires. I have 35’s on stock 20’s . 2019 ram 2500
I just got a set of these 33/12.50/20. They are definitely louder than the Atturro Mt’s that I just took off. Noticeably heavier also. But they look an inch wider since they are very square on the edges.
Damn that loud huh.. thinking about getting them but the atturo mts are loud know a guy with them
Really that loud? I’ve heard they weren’t loud at all
I've had these tires for over a year, not a single issue. I heard that they had issues with the early tire molds. Mine balanced fine and are definitely round. No vibration. Alot of bang for the buck. As with any tire rotate rotate rotate! Lol
Bought these tires a couple weeks ago and don't have many miles on them but I went with the 33x12.50 R20 12 ply and they definitely have a noticable hum going down the road but they ride good so far. On a 20x12 wheel they look pretty square too so no noticable stretch.
How about now 4 months later?
@Logan Chaney probably about 4-5k miles on them so far and they're wearing good. Ive rotated them once and no complaints.
You have the rts right?
I noticed the hum also, I dont have much to compare with it, but others say that the road noise is not bad compared to others
Shoulda did a little crash course showing how good the tires are!
1: The road noise sounds like a Japanese bomber plane coming for Pearl Harbor. I’m being specific because it’s a very specific noise. I personally love the noise it makes, but it’s not for everyone. 2: They are troublesome to balance. Mine have been okay, but it can get shaky.
I have these on my 19 ram1500 classic on 35x12.5 on race line 20x10s and while the hum is noticeable it’s definitely bearable. Windows up at 80 and some music on low you can’t even hear them. I’m getting a chance to take them up to the snow/ice today so I’ll keep y’all posted on the offroad aspect. But so far 10/10 tires.
Sounds like a honest comment.. thinking about buying some for my 2014 z71
@@loganchaney5981 to update on the snow, they do great in snow and mud but super loose and soft sand is tricky. I think that more depends on your truck. I had to use 4 low with a rear lock to get out in some sand but I still managed.
Do you think they are wearing well?
@@moejr14 great. About 30k in, rotating every 10k and they still look brand new.
Do you have a lift on your ram?
After several years would you still recommend these tires
Lol it sounds like you need to tighten the drag on your reel
I love these tires but they only come in an F load....very disappointing. But I love these! How heavy are these? I know the nittos are 63 pounds in a 35”.
Custom offset site says they are almost 42lbs
Just got these tires in a 35x12.5R20. They are mounted on some stock 20" wheels on my 2019 ram 2500. Don't have very many miles on them currently, but they do hum more than I expected they would. I do definitely wish they were quieter, but they are a pretty aggressive all-terrain so they aren't going to be completely silent. Time will tell, but overall i am fairly happy with them. Like I said, I do wish they were quieter but they are manageable especially for the price. What i wanted initially were double the price and I just couldn't justify that.
Do you tow with them? They say that they're 12ply tires but I'm curious about the load rating and the tread wear? I tow a lot and would like a 12ply but don't want tires that will wear out fast
@@Marathon13240 I actually didnt have them on the truck long. At highway speeds they shook the truck to all hell and i couldn't take it lol. I ended up sending them back and i got a set of ridge grapplers and haven't had any issues since. Same shop mounted both sets
Im cross shopping these with the nitto grapplers myself sounds like you get more for your money
What psi do you run yours?
@clustig95 did you have the Rt or the Xt tires?
I had the xts on my 2020 ram 1500 in a 33x12.50x20 !and they did fine aside from the road noise which is just a given with any all terrain tread. However, I had the xts put on my 2015 wrangler sahara in a 35x12.50x18 and had balance beads put in them which helped a little with the vibrations but at 70+ MPH it feels like a tire was out of balance and the whole jeep would have a small shake. Would not recommend these tires for the price.
what psi do you run these tires at?
What’s the difference between R/T and X/T?
I purchase 4 33×12.50×20 terran hunter x/t's. Had balance issues from the start. Had to have rebalancing every 3-5 days. The rep shop I bought them from investigated the issue and found 3 out of 4 tires were out of round. Never purchase again.
Which is better the Open country toyo RTs or these? Sorry for bad questions
😂
I just invested in these for an older 03 GMC Yukon based on a lot of recommendations, and reviews. I got the 285/55R20 for my truck.
Any issues with balancing? Or out of round?
@@dustinduncan2270 No, not at all! These are some dope inexpensive tires that I am glad I looked into.
@@luisarroyo5168 I’m actually wanting to pair these with a 22x10 for my 02 Yukon 2500… Are you lifted or leveled?
@@gerv6493 I have the rough country 2 inch lift on my Yukon.
Love the videos mann💪🏼 just posted a video going over my dads caprice💪🏼
I didnt think you would see my comment😂💙 But yea im trying to get my channel up and going, figured maybe i could get a shoutout from my favorite youtube maybe🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️💪🏼
Are the tires true to size or slightly off like we see with most other lower brands ?
I know yall probably wont see this but could yall cover the Radar Renegade RT?
We can take that into consideration!
Ex tire guy here. Only knowledge I have of these is I see them on every jacked up truck on the road lately.
My boss’ jeep has some. I thought they were BFG Ko2 at first. So, to the only point/input I have. Boss has super wide set on his jeep. Look good. I forget the size… But I remember looking at them and thinking, wow!!! Look how many stick on weights are on those things. Sorry I don’t have more input but I’d personally get BFG KO2 for the few hundred dollar price difference just based on that.
KO2's disintegrate on the gravel roads here... Anything but them!
Balancing beads!
Does Custom Offsets correctly mount and balance tires using the painted dots on the side wall method?????
Yes we do!
anyone buys these?? had some versatyres and they ride like asssssss 14.5s on some 24x14s like un drivable shake wondering if these will be a better option and balance out better??
I was going to order these but I couldn’t find any info on them at the time didn’t realize they were 3 peak certified . I went with the Kenda Klever RT.
I'm between venom s and kenda to. Buying tomorrow. Do u like the kendas ?
@@triggagotnohartcv1058
So far I’m liking them it’s winter time and I’ve had no issues in the snow good traction.
@@WethepeopleFreedom76 are the Kansas Loud?
*kendas?
@@moejr14 i used to have the kendas in a 35x12.5 very good tires to say the least, little bit of a hum but imo not loud at all. they do wear very very quickly
So I got the 33x12.50r20 to go RDR rd01 the rims are 14 inch width the tires are only 12 inch width. My question is, "is it safe to stretch the tires to fit rim?"
Yes you can run them with no real issue
@@CustomOffsetsTV thank you for the response. Now how long would it take to mount business near me says more than a day n i can't be without avehicle
But why are they $1250 for a set of 35’s on 17’s I can get ridge grapplers for $1350. So not much cheaper for a off brand tire.
what are the towing differences in an f250 vs 350? can i tow a gooseneck with two trucks on it with a 2002 7.3 250? or do i need the 350?
350 will give you better payload… IE when your towing something heavy you can still have good amount of gear and people in the truck.
Doesn't help that the tires are sticking out 12 feet lol but truck looks good
Any quieter tires you would recommend with the same size?
You could go with the venom power XT!
How well they hold tire shine?
Depends on the terrain you drive on and how often, email our experts at sales@customoffsets.com to get more accurate information! 🤙
Is it a big deal if you replace a XT tire with an RT if they are the same brand and terra hunters ?
Rt is 4 ply and xt are 10 ply
Will 35x12 fit in a 17x8.5 rim in a 2006 GMC 6 inc lift

Yes i fit mine just leveled on stock 17s
Hate the sounds of a one wheel peeler lol at least she spins em though
Are these louder than the ridge grapplers?
About equal. Buddy of mine has the nittos I have the venoms and it’s just a slight hum
@@armoto1253 do you have any issue with these tires? Balance, vibrations, loudness? Would you recommend?
Nice azz truck dude
I spray the bottom of my truck with Fluid Film 2x a year. It cost about $15. (I buy by the gallon and have the spray gun) I have no rust. Highly recommend
My TrailBoss came Sprayed, it's Awesome. But I know what you're talking about, we stopped using Fluid Film on all of our Work trucks at the Highway Department, we went with PFC (Protection First Class) it might be a little more expensive but it's well worth it we use a spray gun, we do it once a year Spray everything down Front to rear, and all our Chains for the Sanders a 5gal bucket did 3.5 trucks
In the beginning of the driving test you can somewhat hear the hum on the tires nice tire tho
I have a set of 35s and they are the loudest tire I have had yet.
@@03N4SP I’m going back to a 35 as well but I like these tires. got the atturo trail blades for the build
@@ryandriverhidatsawarrior3034 I was looking at those as well. How do you like them?
@@03N4SP haven’t ran them yet
@@03N4SP they run great loving the new set up I got done
Mine vibrate at highway speeds, any recommendations on fixing that?
Email us at sales@customoffsets.com and our experts can try to help you out!
Did you figure out how to fix the vibration? I’ve heard adding psi will help
Beads or sand
Yes, spend more money
Burnout test makes no sense to me at all. Do you want a tire with good grip that won't spin easily or a hard compound the spins easily and has less traction?
A lot of reviews online say there are big issues in getting these tires to balance. Any feedback on that issue?
We've not had many issues, and or heard of many either, so I can't say too much on issues. Few guys here run them and have no complaints
What would u recommend between the XT and RT for the better overall hwy tire for everyday driving and towing a 30 ft travel trailer...
I ended up getting the radar renegades. 33x12.5x20 with a 3 inch rough country lift. The radar renegades are awesome so far. They power through snow like a dream and are low on the scale for road noise considering the aggressive tread. Teeth on one side wall and skulls on the other side. Your choice which is pretty cool. Had good reviews. The reviews on the venom powers were scary.
@@GhostOfHeritage were the similar in price
Extreme balance issues. Had to warranty the tire out. Lost my business
What about the Venom power RT plus ?
What is the difference ?
@@mxerick1 that’s what I’m trying to figure out. Is there a difference between the two.
Did y’all ever figure this out?
@@moejr14 nah I just ordered a different set of tires
Yeee yeee truck
Anybody running these RTs??. Be honest I don't mind alittle bit of sound kinda want alittle or I wouldn't buy a aggressive tires.. just wondering how they ride at 80
I have these in a 35x12.5 and I Daily 100 miles freeways at 80mph+ in a 2019 ram 1500 classic. There’s a hum, but it’s not bad at all. It depends more on the sound proofing on your truck I feel but overall fairly quiet for the lug depth/ separations. Does great on snow, dort, and mud. Sand is a bit tricky but overall 10/10 tires. Only paid 1200$ for a full set mounted and balanced so I cannot complain on price either. Would definitely recommend.
Thank you I appreciate the honesty.. I'm getting some put on my truck Saturday
Curious as to how yours worked out for you? I have these in 37x15.5 I believe. Don’t know if it’s just nobody around here can get them balanced right or they’re a crap tire.
Preston I ended up not getting them put on and went with a nexen mxt.. reason being because one of the tires wouldn't balance and my buddy installing them for me at his tire shop he told me and wouldn't sell them so I picked out another set he had in stock.. I like my mxts from nexen they are beffy put ride good not to loud either
👍🏾
What's the difference with the R/T plus?
I was wondering the same thing
Did you ever figure this out?
Rev to 1500 rpm at stop would be a more accurate base dB reading
I hear these are difficult to balance. Any data on that?
Mine vibrate on highway speeds
@@joshdorman9815 do you have the RT or the RT plus?
They shake so bad it's ridiculous, in hard to buy nittos to fix the issue, they are trash tires
@@joshdorman9815 did you figure out how to fix the vibration?
@@moejr14 no they are out of round
Didn’t mention anything about towing

I have mix filling about them i here alot of people complaining because they use the tires in they are out of round.
2 sets of these both out of round horrible quality tires and company
So where's Fuller?
He left to pursue a dream of his and live a more private life!
hated these tires, went through almost two sets and everyone was so out of round it would shake your guts out.
My 22”-33s have given me no problems, as of yet. Was this an immediate thing? Or something happened after so many miles
@@HardHeadMilitary are they loud?
@@moejr14 man I really dont have anything to compare to them, but they do have road noise…
I love mine they are smooth as can be
One tire fire
I have venom RTS and 3 out of 4 are not round anymore. Tires has 13/32 tread and they’re egg shaped. Will not balance and shake like crazy.
makes me second guess if i want these already having this issue with another brand lmfao
Just purchased a set of these ( don’t buy) tires very loud very lumpy Took 11oz to balance one tire and their warranty department sucks.
Maybe the newer ones or better? Or your rims are out of whack... mine are perfect 33x13.5r24
What size you running ? Are they the RT or RT plus?
Let me complain with out any details and ignore every ones comment.
The sound loud as hell through the video
1300$ no the are way chreaper!!!!!!!
I really miss fuller.
Where did Fuller go?
Sir I heard these tire don't balance well. Is this true anybody😐😐😐😐😐
Yeah they vibrate
@@joshdorman9815 damn
@@ptahdivine3123 it goes both ways. It really is gonna depend on who you’re having balance them I think. I have the MTs and they ride perfect and look really aggressive. I had the courser MXT prior and no matter how many times I tried I got shakes with those at 70+
@@Jbailey9102 thanks my brother
I bought mine at Walmart and they installed them with no issues and only one weight on each tire . I love them, they ride for smooth and sorta quiet .
Howdy🤠🇺🇸
have these on my duramax, and the hum is louder than my engine, i wouldnt buy these again, the hum is loud, nothing slight about it.... wouldnt have expected from a RT
If you truck
Made in China?
Getting famous off comments day 178, hope everyone has a wonderful day and hope you accomplish what you want to accomplish🤙🚀🤙
Nitro knock offs. These are probably just like the Atturos. They are fine in the beginning but eventually they wil lose their shape due to balance.
If money is not an issue go with the grapplers.
And by the way nobody is getting back to me on my build
What’s going on man?
@@CustomOffsetsTV was working with Collin Rexer sales person idk what’s going on with it but it’s all paid for just need then to get back to my wife working nights they have my wife’s email and number

How bout the tires stick out to China 🇨🇳
No they are not worth it

Such a dumb comment lol
Dur dur durky dur.
RT tires are just 4ply
XT tires are 10ply
No, they are not. Maybe when you couls actually get them at half the price. Now they are running 13 to 14 hundred a set. May as well buy the better tires at this point. Cheapest set i found online was 1342. And that was not at checkout. So have to add tax. Shipping was free.
