  • There is not many reviews of the sound of the OM800+ while it is the most common Octave Mandolin on the consumer market. I wanted to share this for a sound sample playing a couple of my favorite Irish reels!!

      @@gavinmcnutt1524 I would love it they played it my local contra dance! The transition into the B part of the tune feels like it warps time- it's so emotionally powerful!

    Super lovely to hear. You have that Gold Tone sounding really nice. I have heard some GT OM's that i haven't been very impressed with, and Im leaning more towards a Trinity College OM. BUT if I had any make of OM sounding like yours I would be delighted. What are the strings you are using?
