I probably would of bought these untill i saw the thumb. But i have enough gloves. Used to hate most, but now i use skulltec gel pads everythings been good. Just need to rape my wrist now. Actually you know what i might even buy them. Your a bad influence my guy.
I belive these are latex foam with an added gel pad over the striking surface. Also to answer Carlo's question re the mesh palm, the said reason is ventilation but the real reason imo, is material cost reduction as leather palm's would be more expensive
@@customerservice9602 asking about performance. Gel VS layered foam. From boxers perspective not manufacturer perspective. Not interested in mesh either
^feedback (foam) vs better protection (gel) also gel will be heavier. And like I said typically these type of gloves add the gel in addition to the foam padding, whether it be latex or otherwise. I don't know of any boxing gloves that just offer gel without some sort of foam padding. Perhaps Rival's gel bag gloves or similar? Not sure though. Gel is more typically used in quick wrap/knuckle guards which are technically not supposed to be used by themselves for training although they would be fine for a double end bag and such.
@@customerservice9602 Yep Adidas seem to have struct the sweet spot with their foam solution, it crunches down enough to bite into the bag without the bounce back of gel but the gloves themselves are cheap the quality isn't high. If you want a cheap decent glove with nice thumb placement, get the rdx kara in 14 or 16oz.
Hi Carlo! could u do a review on the infinitude custom armor p3 headgaurd? I saw ur video on their custom gloves few years ago and was wondering if their headgaurd were good as well
hello my friend, I am your subscriber from Indonesia, in the past you have tried the Hawkeye brand boxing gloves, products from Indonesia, namely my beloved country, you have not tried the hook fightgear and rounin fightgear brands from my beloved country too, can you try them, how is the durability of these 2 brands because during This is a CZcamsr who is serious and good at reviewing boxing gloves. Only you, do you want to try these 2 brands? I'm a beginner in boxing and only have bad boxing gloves at home so I want to buy one of these brands but I'm confused about which one is good.
Salam, you have a beautiful country, I hope to be visiting there in April. Regarding your question, I don't think Carlo will review low cost brands that are unknown in North America and UK, since most of his viewers are not from there. What I can suggest is Lazada, I used it to buy famous brands gloves at low prices when I lived in Thailand.
@@johnnyg1229Are you going on holiday to Indonesia this month? Wow, I hope it's a beautiful experience because the island here offers views that are pleasing to the eye, maybe what you say is true, maybe Carlo won't review brands from my country, thank you friend, I hope I can buy Fairtex brand boxing gloves or twins

Hi brotha, question, what would be the pros/cons of layered foam VS gel padding other than the gel having more protection?
