This is the only sheriff I have ever seen who is legitimately CZcams famous. I get recommended videos of him giving media conferences and statements all the time, and he never disappoints.
I would like to see this guy hold higher office in the law enforcement world, but he seems like the kind of sheriff who has zero interest in the politics required of holding a significantly higher office, and I wouldn't want him to have to play those dumb games anyway.

I’ve been a fan since I saw him tell Antifa rioters that they would regret trying to victimize people in his town. He said his constituents are armed and more than willing to defend their city, and that’s a powerful statement for a sheriff to make.
We need more people like him and for people to be more appreciative of what law enforcement does. People who are rabid about defunding the police either aren’t thinking about situations like this, are just plain ignorant, or just don’t care about children abd are the perpetrators. I am thankful for the men and women who do this job.

@@dougfoster445 it is a curious thing. The vast majority of people, of any sexuality etc, are capable of controlling themselves and don't commit sex crimes. So conventional wisdom would say that most people attracted to children don't act on it. Many are also in relationships, so maybe that's mostly enough for them. I'd assume at least some have normal attractions to adults too.
But possibly, since it's already a taboo thing that they're into, they don't try to ignore it, it's just another crime.

Now, don't read this and think I'm against the death penalty because I'm not, I'm just in favor of our 6th Amendment: "Right to speedy and public trial, impartial jury and right to counsel." If they impose death, then hell yes! As a parent, I too would like to just off these people for doing something so atrocious, but again, I don't think we as a nation should stoop to their level.
Instead a prison would be built especially for these creeps, underground, zero sunlight or fresh air. The cells would be 10 by 7 concrete boxes with a bed, shower, toilet and sink, no desk. Walls two feet thick to sound proof the cells. No cell in vision of another, soundproofing even the plumbing lines. No visits of any kind, no television, complete isolation, no room mates. A robot would serve them their meals. They would receive an injection to put them asleep for the trip to the jail, their heads shaved so they can not hide contraband, a complete legal x-ray of the body for any contraband put in places. Minimal medical care only to ensure they serve their time. The only book they would have is a soft bind Holy Bible to read and hopefully turn their lives over to Jesus. They would be in the cell 24/7 365 days a year. If they act out a tea of guys 6'4" tall dressed in riot gear would come to their door.
Life in the most brutal prison should suffice. They'll get suicided or shanked soon enough before they begin their eternity in hell.

What they need to know is many more are still hurting children physically, not just watching someone else do it. I'm shocked at how many of these people they arrest in one county in Florida, He mentionend briefly how hard this is for agents. I can't imagine. they must have to get therapy just to deal with all these scum people.

Not all officers in Polk county are good people though but the majority are excellent. Sheriff Judd's department really goes out of the way to keep pedophilia activity out of the county. If I recall, there was only two deputies arrested for it from his own department over the decades. Sheriff Judd hanged both to the fullest extent of the law. Now Lakeland police department is filled with sexual related crimes from their officers which is the same county go figure. Just CZcams the Lakeland police sex scandals as it is very disturbing.
