They sold a bunch of them for a charity auction along with other game doubles, but the one they kept and used for the previous Frolf match was having some trouble. I'm guessing fans sent more copies in again because of that.

Kinda makes me want to set up a research grant and find out what the hell is wrong with these loveable knuckleheads. Among other things (don't ask me to list them because I lied about them) I'd set up eye tracking stuff to see where their focus is each time the game tells them the score available for finishing in the hole, because yeah there's a bit of information coming at them on the screen, and maybe the episode length timer is actually a strobe light flashing at faster intervals and knowing you're being recorded for a million bewildered critics takes more brain power than I can imagine, but I was surprised at how long it took them to figure the scoring out.

They are using gamecube cobtrolls and the c stick makes the noise heard(a click noise) when being moved

Danielle Hollis true. It’s just a scary thing to think about, not just for me but probably for everyone. I feel so bad for all the small kids who have to go through this as well because they aren’t able to love their childhood to the fullest.
@@PBandJuliana yeah but even in the middle of this, people are constantly coming up with new things to do in place of the regular stuff we used to be able to do. A kid in my church had her 15th bday in quarantine, so I made her a toilet paper bday cake & our entire church drove around her house & threw candy, gifts, confetti, etc at her. Even though we are still on lockdown, necessity is the mother of invention & we will all have memories of unique things we've had happen in all this.

I honestly couldn't care which golf game they play, but Grumps Dream Course is for sure my favorite. I love how much joy they have everytime they turn it on, almost as much as the rage that Arin slowly drifts into as Dan inevitably destroys him.

I know this sounds weird, but when I watched their first playthrough of this, I remember I was eating taco dip with tortilla chips. So, whenever they do a new playthrough of this, it makes me think of eating taco dip tortilla chips, lol! 😆
I have that same thing with Silent Hill LPs. When I was in high school I loved that Chunky campbell's soup stuff, particularly the beef and potato. It was easy to make after school and we didn't usually have dinner until around 8. Whenever I make that soup now I think about sitting down and watching L0rdVega griping at Silent Hill lol.
That's so funny, I have the same feeling with their Silent Hill playthroughs and stuffed crust pizza. Such a weird combo but ever since then I can't have one without the other. 😂

Honestly, when Arin said they would be playing fan favorites at the beginning of the backstreet boys tour, I immediately thought of this game, and hopefully awaited every day, watching and waiting, until this very day when they unearthed the "arc de triumph" of all the golf series in existence

I loved that playthrough also, but I just feel like it captured a different energy than golf playthroughs

Finally a game I can be “the expert” in! Power-fuel’s description is misleading, it’s just frog fuel but twice as good, so if you’re already considering frog fuel you should get the best kind :)

Brian Jackson I think legally emulators are still illegal? They just say it for the lovelies, so everyone knows they’re supporting the developers and are giving them money. They’ve already bought like 3 copies of this, so they’re telling the audience that they support the developers. They use emulators bc they’re apart.

@@houdini9739 Nope, emulators are 100% legal. Read through the entirety of the 1998 Digital Millennium Copyright Act, the way the law is structured is a little interesting. There's no technical restriction on what platform you play your media on, what's illegal is any attempt to circumvent DRM/copyright protection. So, in practice, yes, emulating games is illegal, but only because you need to rip the game to be able to play it.
That said, the story is significantly different in European Union. As I understand it their consumer protection laws are a lot better about allowing consumers to copy media they are in possession of.
Now, that only accounts to the legal side of the issue. The moral/ethical side warrants a much more in-depth conversation, because realistically no one is harmed by someone emulating a game they already owned.

There's nothing better than watching Frolf and noticing "Yup, if Arin goes for the easy frog-in he will finish with more than Dan and win the round" and then just before you finish that thought in your head you hear them both go "oh man it's not enough" and then you watch Arin proceed to waste more turns and then just barely squander his victory. True joy.
Frolf is really peak game grumps content. Not only is it a super strange and interesting game, arin and dan are having such a good time that its contagious. You cant NOT be giddy listening to them

I got so excited at the news that frolf was back that I had to educate my fiancé (who is new to GG) about how magical and soothing literally all golf games on this channel are.
I legit just watched the last sessions of Frolf a couple weeks ago and it brought me so much joy. I got so giddy seeing them bust this game out again.
