It’s not the randomiser. As a small character power ups only work as a mushroom.
The funny thing is that Arin knows this. He explained it to Dan during their SMW playthrough.

I love how EVERY time they play Mario 3 or some variation of it Dan mentions the overscan and Arin explains it. It's just one of those comfortable constants in life that I depend on

Zelda LttP randomizer is incredible and has a fairly large community and races often on Twitch.

The idea of Princess Peach, while she is kidnapped, sending Mario a sweet shroom and giving him a lame ass clock joke just broke me. I've never gone from zero to 100 on the laughometer so dang fast. I dunno why but that just really got me especially after the "GO AHEAD. MAKE MY DAY."

This is pure Mario Maker energy, though Ross would definitely be a bit more specific on what designs are in the levels to drive you mad. This is a lesser Super Ross World

Made me happy to hear Dan and Arin mention NYXL. Another cool little moment from the grumps where out of everyone I know, like one person finds OWL cool like I do, so to hear grumps mention it, even off-hand, is nice :D

As an actual sincere question, what is the difference between pixel perfect and 4 by 3?
@@buriedberry the original hardware rendered the games as a perfect square 1:1, but it was purposely stretched slightly to fit TV's at the time, which were slightly rectangular, 4:3

A terrible simplification of the process is; Arin is effectively playing the game normally, and Dan is enjoying a Twitch Plays stream.

I went to immediate care for a very unfun reason this morning. I'll be okay, ultimately, but it sucked an entire bag of balls in quick succession.
