I like that Destiny is so honest. He doesn't try to ingratiate himself, just says it like he sees it.
Once upon a time I think that was the default. Thank god we have Destiny and a few others but just saying what's what needs to make a big return
And the the other person isn't?
@@asorianomarquez I wasn't implying that at all! Where did you get the idea that I was suggesting Fleisher isn't?
Yes, he's a natural contrarian. He's basically pro Israel but doesn't necessarily agree with everything they do.
Yes, I agree - Destiny (Steven) says it like he sees it and does not avoid nuanced conversations. It is great that he came to Hebron and we worked hard all day speaking with many people. This video is just a brief view into his time in Israel. It is not intended to be a debate or a gotcha - it is a serious exchange of ideas. He will post more on his channel.
It's nice to see that 2 people can argue & disagree and yet still respect each other. Well done Yishai & Destiny.
Yeah. One has in depth knowledge and lives the real narrative every day (Yishai), while the other parachutes in for 2 weeks and says that as an American he doesn't really care how things turn out as long as both sides accept whatever outcome results (Destiny).
He is still shallow-minded on this subject, working on the level of Grievances and not on a deeper level of legal rights (that in this case has been established for 100 years in favor the Jewish People), which the Arabs refuse to honor and respect and instead chose and prefer violence and Genocide and the false "Glory" it gives them. Get real. This is not about "Oppressor and oppressed". This is about Criminal-Perpetrators (Muslims) and Victims (Jews). Stop killing Jews and stop taking Jews hostage.
@@joesilver4376all those words just to say you ain’t so smart haha good one lil bro
I'd love if they could find 1 Pro Pal interlocutor who has a PHD in history of that region who's able to debate using anything but what they learned on twitter or TikTok. The only person I've seen able to Steel Man the Pro Pal side without sounding like a tweet bot is Destiny lol
I like this guy. He’s got a Yisro style outsiders perspective which is much needed to improve the way Jews are approaching the conflict and world.
I really like Yishai, straight up, doesn't mince his words and very intelligent man, loves his Country and will defend it to the end.
Would it be okay by his logic for the native americans to take over Seatle
@@randomhuman2595 If the native Americans had a legal declaration (Balfour) by a global superpower (UK) legally promising them the land after the US (Ottoman Empire) is dissolved following their defeat at the hand of that superpower (UK) and the remnant of the US (Turkey) agrees to grant the rights to the land to the global superpower(UK).. then you would have a valid comparison.
Fantastic video Yishai. Just shared it on my community tab.
I am glad you two did meet up. Such a great interaction.
Yishai is very, very patient and kind; even to people that merely parachute in as tourists and have no skin in the game.
Destiny has been making the Islamic unity is a myth argument recently in multiple videos but misses the point that unity doesn’t exclusively mean ‘active and physical participation’. Sports fans aren’t involved physically on the field by playing the game but without support people tend to lose their morale and motivation significantly quicker. Seeing hundreds of thousands of people world wide defend what you did on October 7th unites and empowers you. Wars have been instigated by people who weren’t actively involved in those wars. Calling it a myth is a pretty reductionist take.
Idk, I feel like Afghanistan is one of the best supporting arguments for what he's saying, it's a state that has multiple different competing Islamic factions that are all doing their best to kill the other, supported by outside Islamic interests. The state is surrounded by other Islamic states that are all probably going to be going to war with it in a few years due to geographic and other issues in the region. If Islam was really a monolith, I don't think you'd see it fractured to the extent it is today.
Hundreds of thousands of people overseas is different than countries actively participating. To me, the Israelis are in a state of paranoia.
@@nattteo I definitely see your point and Destiny’s aswell. My point isn’t to say the Islamic world is completely in tact and united and forms this perfect, synchronized front to destroy the state of Israel. All I’m saying is that calling Islamic unity (at all) a myth because they’re usually not fighting the same wars anymore is taking it a bridge too far.
American soldiers aren’t currently fighting in Gaza and dying for Israel by the dozens but would you call the unity between Israel and the US a myth?
@@guydroogcomcomparing Arab countries and non-Arab isla mic countries is where people miss the mark. Isl am was in its essence Arab imperialism, and thus even Arab countries with a sizable non Muslim pop will still be much more unified in the core tenets (anti Jwish being one of those tenets) and culture. That’s why for example Irans population is much more pro jwish despite it being the most Isla mic country… it has a rich connection to its non Islamic past. Afghanistan is not far behind. It’s a nuanced topic but suffice it to say westerners can’t really understand Isla m until they understand Mo ham mad
I am Australian. I agree with Yishae, that Israel should have fought to win quickly.
Very difficult with numerous tunnels embedded in most civilian structures and even hospitals. Plus HAMAS had over 40,000 fighters spread out over a 25 mile zone, with an underground safe zone in Egypt and their political leaders safe in Qatar. It takes time..
It would also have endangered the soldiers on the ground moving in to the known unknown
This is why destiny is so big lately is he is actually able to take a position independent of the factions and their narratives.

Israel has offered to return the gaza strip to the Egyptions in the past (it was under Egyptions control until the 6 day war 1967). The Egyptions refused. They know exactly why. They are perfectly willing to let Israel deal with the problem of jihadism and extremism of the population of gaza. I'm not sure that it is in the best interest of Israel to move these people into Sinai, which also shares a border with Israel.
Always love to watch people's brains short-circuit and turn into mush in the comment when they watch people who have nuanced views like destiny and lonerbox speak.
When destiny gives his take and understanding that is slightly different than their side everyone calls him a 'shill, psychopath, etc' and that itself is a peak entertainment for me.
You havent heard the criticism destiny has of israel. Your brain would short circuit as well.
What is a terrorist? Was Patricia Hearst a terrorist when she was indoctrinated by the SLA? I understand she was de-indoctrinated later but the point is when “ordinary citizens” are committing atrocities, it doesn’t really matter why they are doing what they are doing when the results are the same.
Right now in this moment, Israel has one responsibility to her people and that is to eliminate Hamas. Maybe later when Hamas is gone & the tentacles of Iran are severed, a de-indoctrination process can start.
Won't work. Hummous is just one manifestation of E€$I@mee¢ ideology. They need to either convert in mass or move to Egypt..

@11:30 While that could have worked, unfortunately it took just 2 days of water and electricity being provided by Israel to be shut off for the screams of famine, collective punishment, genocide and whatever else to start circulating the world. By then the international pressure was already huge and any further movement by Israel like that would have had massive long term consequences of how Israel is interacted with on the global stage, the US included.
Furthermore, actions like that would have made the hostages seem like a secondary goal for the war, and back then there were still hopes for legitimate exchanges to return them home. The pressure to reduce Israel's actions combined with the unknown state of the hostages made the "hard and fast" take on the war impossible, regardless of whether the international community actually knew how to deal with Hamas or not. Now we're stuck at this terrible position where we have to go door to door and sacrifice soldiers for the sake of keeping the international community happy.
my thoughts exactly.
You live by the sword you die by the sword. The reason why international dissent is such a big issue for Israel is because of it's own making. Israel itself, in it's efforts to portray its status of being the only democratic nation in the middle east, has long ingratiated itself in the international spotlight. For you to complain when it isn't in your favour is ironic.
So you unironically think it's alright to cut water and electricity for 2 million people even for 1 day? Bro do you sometimes listen to yourself? Literal nazi thinking.
Excellent interview Yishai!
It’s cool that this discussion and Yishai meeting Destiny came from Destiny reacting to Yishai on Piers Morgan and Yishai reacted to Destiny reacting to him. Very cool communication and being open to discuss a controversial topic. Interesting, good job.
Amazing interview, Totally worth the wait and i love Destiny position of honesty when it comes to his feelings on the region
I have been waiting for this dialogue for a while, ever since I saw photos of Steven and Yishai... thank you for the nice discussion.
Awesome interview!
I like that this is a candid conversation! 🇧🇷🇮🇱
Hamas most *definitely* struck on Oct 7 because the normalization treaty between the Saudi’s & Israel were just a few days away from being signed. This war is about trade routes and Iranian v Saudi regional domination.
Cool and all, I appreciate this. But in the end, Destiny stated, "I think the Palestinians have a pretty amazing history too." DEAD CREEPY

I love Israel. I agree completely with Yishai. By the way I am not Christian, I practice Hinduism. Israel , Judea and Samaria belongs to the Jews and always will.
I don't completly agree with him . He seems to forget about the hostages when he says what he would have done..
In other words, you dont want peace
@@morenitomoreno1282 Where do you get that? The Brits already took away 78% of the Jewish land, to form Jordan. Why should Israel give up one more square centimeter, for a peace that the Arab invaders will never give her?
why are people responding to this like its not an israeli bot, Yeah you practise Hinduism and your youtube names is TheIsraelProphetess. Firstly Spelling Prophets wrong in your name, and not even spelling Sumaria correctly, clearly either a) israeli bot or b) a certified moron
@@deborahfreedman333 I'm just stating the most obvious fact ever. You think israel can remove millions of arabs from the West Bank peacefully? I hate people who dont have the courage of their convictions. You think israel should use military force to completely takeover the West Bank. Own it. Now if they actually did that, they would definitely get the Apartheid South Africa treatment and be ostracized by the entire world.
It isn’t perception, we are, have been, and will forever be outnumbered.
How many Arab countries do you have to have normalized relationships with until you’re no longer outnumbered? Of course if we’re speaking about racial or ethnic groups then yes you will always be outnumbered but that is obviously a low level analysis from a foreign affairs perspective
@@KRISTIANSMILJANIC “The Sunni’s relationship towards Israel is a balance between two countervailing factors; - a deep aversion towards Israel and - a deep fear of Iran. When the aversion towards Israel is greater than the fear towards Iran, the they will be hostile towards Israel, and when the fear of Iran is greater than the aversion towards Israel, then they will be more open towards Israel.”
-Dr Martin Sherman
What’s more is that the Arab street and the Arab overlords are almost mutually exclusive
What a great discussion, and the first time that I've warmed to Destiny. Thank you Yishai for bringing out his more agreeable side! Keep moving the line. Your proposal to solve this situation is the most *pragmatic* one. It's the only one that would see the 'Palestinian' children benefitting hugely in the coming decades...🇮🇱🙏💙
Agreed. Why of all the war refugees, the world over, are Gazan refugees blocked, by Egypt and the US, from fleeing the war zone of Gaza? Syrian refugees go to Turkey; Ukrainian refugees go to Poland. By the millions. Instead of spending hundreds of millions to install a flimsy pier, the money could have been used to establish a refugee camp in Sinai under international and UN auspices, and the Gaza refugees would be then be safe.
@@joesilver4376: Exactly. This is what I've been saying too! Egypt could easily have permitted the international community to set up a 'secured' humanitarian camp just inside Sinai for babies, children, mothers of small children, pregnant women, the very sick and elderly to be cared for there. Hardly anyone talks about this, so thank you. The main complaint by Egyptians to me is that Israel won't let them return to Gaza, and maybe there is some risk. But keeping vulnerable people TRAPPED in a war zone is despicable, and against international law. The Egyptians seem to support the war strategy of Hamas which is to use the human death toll as negative publicity for Israel. A large number of Gazans are from Egyptian families who moved to Gaza during the 1948-1967 Egyptian occupation, so it's doubly awful that they want to use them as cannon-fodder in this way...🙄
Great conversation. What I also noticed were the great camera angles with the beautiful background and color grading.

I misjudged Destiny! He really knows what he is talking about when it comes to understanding people from both sides.
He does realize that “Palestinians” are among the best educated and having some of the highest standards of living among Arabs because of Israel, right? Everything about their involvement with Israel is what has given them a good life - everyone obsessively gives them money and focus to go against “evil Israel”. They live off of so much from Israel. Israel helps their governments keep order and gives them free help and breaks on a lot of things. Israel has lifted them up. Without israel it would be poverty stricken.
He does know this and has said it multiple times.. you do know that most people consider him an Israeli shill right? lol
Because of Israel
That's what white South Africans used to say about black folk in Soith Africa. This smells like justifying Apartheid.
And America helps Isreal. Does that somehow diminish Israel’s accomplishments?
@@whousa642and your evidence is?
17:28 you just described the analog version of what the internet does… life in Israel and Palestine. People living in a bubble that keep telling themselves “those people” over there are evil. I would only add that Israeli action over decades has given a lot of justification for Palestinian sentiments and that Palestinian radicalization requires someone to radicalize them. As much as Israelis like to paint the picture of Palestinians being naturally violent, Destiny makes the tremendous point of how educated Palestinians actually are (or rather were before all of their schools and universities were blown up). His takeaway from his trip so far is largely the humanity of the Palestinian people, a humanity I wish more of Israeli society could share at this depressing time. If anything for the sake of Israelis themselves.

Destiny felt awkward using the word ‘Arab’ a month ago. Nice to see his growth in real time.
For the topic 3, Israel in Media, I would like to add that nothing brings Muslims all over the world together than Israel defending itself. Why is Malaysia and Maldives canceling Jewish visa? Yishai should have not given grounds on it.
Why did every western country cut diplomatic ties with Russia?
@@morenitomoreno1282 Perfect response to showcase their blatant hypocrisy.

Destiny's answer is an irresponsible childish deflection and a scam. He is operating on the shallow level of sorting out grievances and not on the deeper, honest level, of analyzing the competing legal rights of the disputants and supporting, like a grown up, the side that has the greater legal merit; in this case the Jewish People. This was all legally sorted out 100 years ago, but the Arabs refuse to respect the legal rulings. Study the San Remo conference 4-25-1920, the Anglo-American Treaty 1925, the League of nations Mandate for Palestine-Israel, the UN Trusteeship for Palestine-Israel, the recognition of the State of Israel by both the US and the USSR, the re-possession of Arab-occupied sovereign and intended-sovereign Jewish territories by Israel in the June 1967, etc.

EYE OPENING VIDEO, IM LEARNING SO MUCH MORE, ABOUT ISRAELI PEOPLE AND OTHER PEOPLE, S MINDSET, S ABOUT THE CONFLICT. AM YISRAEL CHAI! ENGLAND 🇬🇧
"It is known among the villagers around Hebron that the people of Yata were originally Jewish. Moreover, the meaning of the clan’s name-Mukhammara-comes from the Arabic root KH-M-R, which means “wine.” Thus, the clan name means either “winemakers” or people having some connection to wine. As is well known, having anything to do with wine is a major sin to Muslims. In that context, today’s Mukhammara clan members, as good Muslims, almost assuredly would have nothing to do with wine. But their Jewish ancestors clearly did-hence the name of their clan.
Even more interestingly, it is common knowledge among the locals in the Hebron area that after the 1967 Six-Day War when Israel took control over Judea and Samaria, heads the above-mentioned clan and other clans in the area, even some living in the city of Hebron itself, went to then-Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Dayan-who was in charge of the newly acquired territories-and asked him to help them return to Judaism. Dayan rebuffed them."

An alternative theory: the Arabic language is far older than Islam, so it shouldn't be surprising they have a word in their language for wine, and family names associated with the winemaking trade.
I appreciate Stevens logical approach, he just needed to learn Islamic doctrine to fully understand what's happening.

I have a suggestion. A daily digital, video game like, overhead map that shows the bombs/firefights for the entire country. Show all 24 hours in 5 mins. It could show what’s happened back and forth in the north and what happened in Gaza. If there is a ceasefire, have cameras above to PROVE who breaks the ceasefire first. Bellamy Bellucci would be a good host of it, daily.
"… Why should we declare their burning hatred for us? For eight years they have been sitting in the refugee camps in Gaza, and before their eyes we have been transforming the lands and the villages, where they and their fathers dwelt, into our estate …". -- Moshe Dayan's (former Israeli defense minister and war hero) eulogy for Ro'i Rothberg, 1956
Wow, one quote/opinion. 🙄
As someone whose parents came from this region, it’s a known fact that Ashkenazi Israelis (such as Dayan) do not understand the region and often hold the belief that history started with them. They don’t realize that this hatred has nothing to do with them. Here is a quote written CENTURIES prior by Maimonides, who was one of the most respected influential figures of his time by Muslins and Jws alike:
“God has entangled us with this people, the nation of Ishmael, who treat us so prejudicially and who legislate our harm and hatred…. No nation has ever arisen more harmful than they, nor has anyone done more to humiliate us, degrade us, and consolidate hatred against us.”
The Rabbis idea to annexe all the land from the river to the sea and grant residency to the Palestinians is to create an arphatheid state. The best solution is too have two states where Palestinians vote in the Palestinian state and have residency in the Jewish state and vice versa. Then it will not be an arphatheid state.
I stand with Israel
Lets go
Perception. I’ve suggested before, basically to try and approach matters obliquely… from an angle less emotionally charged I.e take ‘Bukele schools BBC reporter’ on the India Today channel; that’s a very impressive summary of Globalist “Recipes”. The like of which we see in Ukraine, and against Imran Khan in Pakistan, and previously in Lydia, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq…
Then see the short excerpt of the recent Tucker Carlson interview with Bukele; he cites studies that suggest that over 60% of El Salvadorians in the USA wish to return to their homelands. You couldn’t say that about Venezuelans; but, God willing, that might change if Trump/MAGA can bring the “recipes” to an end.
Above all else… remember this is about perception, read the comments on that Tucker interview; those people expressing heartfelt admiration and goodwill toward Bukele and his ‘Israel’ of Latin America are almost certainly overwhelmingly supporters of Israel, and they get accused of being the “isolationists” and much worse. It’s absurd, it’s evil… it’s unsustainable.

At minute 15:00 the Rabbi says the "war" should have been over if food, water, fuel etc was not allowed in for 2 weeks. There 30k Hamas in a population of 2.3 million. Or Hamas needs only 2% of the food coming in. So the population will starve before Hamas starve. The Rabbi believes Hamas love their people and will surrender to prevent starvation. At other times Hamas uses civilians as human shields. He needs to decide whether hamas is good or evil to their own people

16:10 Destiny makes a good point about having a lens to view the world. He mentions the ‘Red Pill’ but I’m not sure he really had in mind the red pill of accepting the ‘true’ nature of women. I.e just because for most of history the vast majority of women have had to realise their maternal eudimonia (potential) early in life, men should never assume ergo that’s what they inherently are like by nature. I.e with the advent of the pill, the rejection of God, industrial scale abortion and a massive reduction of stigma concerning promiscuity it is very rare that a girl will save herself for marriage; according to Jordan Peterson, I think 38 is now the average age for a western woman to have her first, and perhaps only, child.
That means two decades of probably having multiple sexual partners and that is the great and universal cause of the corruption of the moral sentiments. Those corrupting effects are largely camouflaged, ‘ameliorated’, by progressive liberal governments who print vast unaccounted-for sums of money to fund this whole sordid affair: see Mary Eberstadt for consequences of the Sexual Revolution.
That’s a lens that I think should be a starting point. A much more philosophically deeper, related, and powerful lens is Iain McGilchrist’s Hemisphere Hypothesis
i love what destinys saying about how the land looks, shows he needs to spend more time in the shephela or galilee. Remember the only reason the land itself in judea and samaria isnt developed is because the whole worlds trying to prevent that.

60 crore Hindus love Israel come what may so Israel must not worry
Interesting
Way to go, Yishai!
AM YISRAEL CHAI!!!
I absolutely grown to love Yishai. Even tho his views would be from a westernized perspective considered conservative I guess with which I shouldn't agree. You can see this guy really wants a solution that will be the best for everyone is honest well thought out and not motivated by malice or revenge or some misleading emotions. Its just with these issues it is always a guessing game with huge risks. And with our opinions we all just try to guess based on the information we have what the best way to go about it. We should all take a step back and acknowledge that most people including him iff you would give them a guarantee that any left or right or whatever process would work out in a better future they would agree with that.
Israel cannot appear victimised whilst hosting guest after guest from abroad. Make podcasts, give tours, all whilst hostages are uncertain of their safety and freedoms.
I don't really care much about this conflict, it doesn't affect me either, but I like learning about it. In the beginning of the video Yishai seems like skeptical of the view that Israel is the big bad guy and Palestine the victim, and he asks Destiny about optics, how could Israel make it so they look better? But later on, he says he would have ended the conflict in 2 weeks, just turn off the water, the supply, the food, etc. That tells me that Israel has the control and the 'gun' here, which is in accordance with public perception. I know things might be deeper and there's more things to analyze, but this is really telling on what's going on.
When you listen to these people speak long enough, they give away their intentions.
I love Yishai
Destiny at least is honest, in that he has no feel or attachment to what happens to Israel; it's quite cold... I can't understand how someone is aware of Jewish history can be so callous & I believe he has grandparents who are survivors. There are a few holocaust survivors still, my mother is one of them; so the sense of an existential crisis is very real & not at all abstract.
I appreciate he is
actively looking for solutions to the "conflict"...feels a little dry towards Jews & more warm towards the "Palestinian cause".
I don't look for antisemitism & I believe everyone is closely related, yet there are fundamental differences that I believe has made Jews very strong; & I wish this for the Palestinians. They are a very capable people, but there is a victimhood mentality; had the Jews given sway to this mindset certainly there wouldn't be an Israel the way it is today.
Jewish history clearly shows a people kicked out all over the globe, but they never gave into the desire or expectation of being taken care of. I got the sense that
Destiny does not acknowledge Jewish history other than Jews being prideful; therefore reluctant to sing its praises & not without quickly shifting to how educated the Palestinians are.
I can't get around his lack of emotional connection to the Jewish people, I would have asked him if he identifies as a Jew (without the religious part, as he already claimed agnostic)...& if so, what does it mean to him.
That’s not true though. As far as I’m aware, he knows the “Palestinian Cause” is nonsense but he thinks there needs to be an acceptable solution for Israelis, Arabs and the international world order.
I also don't care. Why should we? Abrahamites have been slaughtering each other for thousands of years, why should I feel anything about this? The jews did massacre all the canaanites, didn't they?
Everything that followed Abraham came from the concept of killing people who worship other Gods.
This feels like you never watched a single other Destiny vid.
It's funny that you say Palestinians have a victim mentality but you started of your comment painting your kind as victims
If it makes you feel any better, destiny doesn't really have any strong emotional feelings towards anyone or anything but some of his family and close friends. He likes not to get emotionally invested before he does his research on topics, so that he doesn't get emotionally swayed and thus open to being biased. I think after learning and refining his opinion he'll be more open to emotional impressions or arguments, which he got a whole lot of in his israel journey. He'll go through all of it on his stream over the coming weeks.
Destiny - not real impressive - definite lefty western views - I wouldnt say real realistic ! I LIKE YOU 😊 hence watch & share your videos .
I really enjoy these types of interviews. Respectful, informative in its disagreements and attempting to come to a stronger understanding of the details. Also I hate destiny 20% less with a short haircut.
I enjoy listening to you I support Israel and will continue to🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🙏🙏🙏🙏
Iran has an Iranian ethnic majority around 86% and around 70% of that is Persian. Azeris make only 10 percent of Iran’s population and even then many of the Azeris identify as Persian.
