Ark Ascended: Modded spino vs Giga

- Testing some of the WIP buffs this guy can get. There is one similar to the vanilla spino (water buff) which boosts damage and speed and another similar to the bary for fish killed which boosts regeneration. Its melee damage on the swing animation is dependent on the speed and direction of the aim offset, and it will do bleed damage if you get a high enough multiplier - I wanted something different than the same old spam click.
After seeing this video I think I am gonna nerf the damage amounts a bit, If you see this then I am open to more suggestions for the mod!

This spino is NEEDED with the paleo rex mod makes all the apex look more terrifying and realistic
I mean paleo ark is already making a paleo spino so yeah
If you can, you should make the hands and claws bigger, but overall, the animations look really good. Will it be cross platform?

Damn, I didn’t know I wanted a spino that swims with its tail, until now.
Will be interesting to have this and the empiriosaur later down the line to have diversity in spinosaurids realy cool.

I would prefer if its limbs were thicker. And the animation could use some improvements. But other than that, you did a phenomenal job and I'm definitely getting this mod when it comes out.

This mod is really cool i mean look at those beautiful animations finally spino can fight now rex,giga,carcha were on another level but with this mod spino would be really good if you make it balanced and not that strong it would reach ark additions and after that maybe vanilla game

idk about the swing with the claw thing it looks a little funky, and plus console players cant even make use of it

Yeah, I'm gonna be nerfing it. I made it good bit weaker than rex but turns out with all its buffs it becomes really powerful.

is spinos playstyle being changed from glass-canon to tank with the mod?
It will have a bit more health than vanilla spino but will still have less than the rex so still glass cannon kinda.

There is a good tutorial made by garuga123 on youtube that will get you started. You need to learn how to 3d model and animate before following that though.
