Hi Janette, I can say that discovering you has been a dream come true. All the beating about the bush is over for me. So, I have found my mentor. Thanks a billion. Be blessed.
Wonderful! Welcome to the community of diaspora dreamers
Impactful. I need to start preparing now.
Awesome. ☺️
❤ . I love this.
Great. Thank you
You are welcome!
You are diffinately gonna be my mentor ❤
😃
Hi Janet. I'm a first timer here. I got your name and channel through your interview by Waka Waka doctor CZcams account
Same with me
Many people from my part of the world don't know that opportunities like these exist. Really, information is key. May God bless you more for sharing this information
Bless you too. I plan to share many more nuggets from my experience because as you say - knowledge is power. China Achebe said that ‘Unless the lion learns to write, then tales of the hunt will always be from the perspective of the hunter’
Well, lions have learnt to write 🙂
I have done my authentication when I wanted to travel to Dubai I but lost my documents in Dubai what should I do 😊😊
@@user-ho7rc4dj2pthat’s not good!
You would have to go back to your home country, get the university to issue you replacement certificates, which you would then take to the ministry and repeat the whole process again.
@@DiasporaDoodles😂
Thanks for the info madam. Pls is it only certificates we are expected to authenticate and legalize or transcripts inclusive?
You are doing well sis. Thanks for your response. I sent a reply.

Yes, you should
Each time I come across your videos, it each blows my mind. Where have you been all these while? How do I get to be mentored by you?
Thank you for your kind words.
You can send me an email with your CV so we can both discuss where you are in your career and how to proceed ☺️
I have sent the mail but haven't gotten your attention yet.

The five stated points are well articulated, Maa.

Hi Janet, thanks for the information, i want tl transition to teaching. Should i start now or wait till i get my PGDE?
You can start preparing now, but you’d get better paying jobs with brilliant benefits when you get a PGCE. It’s all up to you.
Thanks so much madam.i have been a teacher for 22 years ,taught both primary and middle school.currently I operate my own nursery and primary school in the Gambia, west Africa. Can u help me get a teaching job anywhere?
I can show you what I know and we will take it from there
Does it mean one cannot just apply for jobs without authentication and legalization or can one get a job offer first before legalization and authentication?
It is better to get it done before as your qualifications will be clearer and you won’t be placed on a lower salary level
Ma, can you please tell us the list of documents we need to authenticate or legalise?
All your profesional qualifications
Thanks for the info madam. Pls is it only certificates we are expected to authenticate and legalize or transcripts inclusive?
I have only ever legalised and authenticated my certificates. Transcripts are usually sent directly from the issuing universities so that’s out of your control anyway
Why the authentication or legalisation? Does it mean that they don't believe in their prospects?
You cannot evaluate your qualifications if they are not authenticated first. Some countries would not allow you to apply for visas with out legalised documents proving you are qualified for the job you are entering the country to do.
Hello goodmorning,I teach in a kindergarten in china and I will love to go further, which degree can I do online to go further
I would recommend getting a PGCE from any of the approved providers or a K-12 license from any of the approved providers. Check out the get into teaching section on www.gov.com or check out the TeachNow website for the US equivalent. Let me know how you get on with it
I am interested in the mentorship aspect
Fantastic! Please send me your CV via diaspora.doodler@gmail.com
@diaspora doodies I have my certificates authenticated by WES does that count instead of doing that in Nigeria?
Yes, that’s awesome

Am a qualified teacher how can I apply to come abroad and teach , as a seasoned educator it's my passion to impact the lives of children. I'll be glad if u can help me and put me through the right way. Thank you
Brilliant! The world definitely needs you! Have you certified and authenticated your teaching certificates?
Pls gud evening i need a sample of a CV the can be used to apply for jobs Abroad.
I have a live stream on CVs. You might want to head over and watch it, then construct your own. It’s not the sample that matters, it’s the information you include and how you engage the recruiter that counts
I have B Sc in Accounting with over 10 years in teaching secondary students and undergrads in Nigeria. Are there job opportunities for me in US or Canada or other countries with visa sponsorship? Pls
There’s a 65 million teacher shortage around the world. A good candidate who knows what to do, will not lack jobs especially jobs with visa sponsorship
I have HND in Accountancy, PGD in Economics and about to start PGDE /TRCN, can I land a teaching job abroad with with those certificates mentioned above? Since I didn't do BSC.
Yes. The main qualification you need is the PGDE with TRCN
Thank u very much ma for sharing. Pls ma I would like u to mentor me, I really want to apply for a teaching job abroad and I don't know how to go about it. Thank you ma.
Sure, please send me your CV via email so we can assess the best case scenario for you

Please do you know how i can get a job as a midwife in Schengen?
It’s not my area of specialisation, but a little research on legitimate government websites can help.
The first step is to determine where you want to go as different countries in the Schengen area have slightly different levels of shortages and requirements/policies on hiring people from outside the EU

@@DiasporaDoodles So nice of you, I have sent it. Thanks so much
You are welcome
Please can you list the documents that needs to be authenticated and legalized. Thank you
All the professional qualifications needed for the job you are applying for, starting with your degree certificate.
Do I need to also authenticate the transcript ma or is it just the degree certificate?
Just the qualifications. The transcript will go straight from the awarding university to the university you are applying to or the evaluation body. So, it won’t even get to you to authenticate.
@@DiasporaDoodles thanks for your response.

Please I need advice on how to go about applying for jobs internationally
Cool. Send me an email please.
Pls for person traveling to UK for pgce. Do I need to authenticate my documents
The university should have done that for you when you evaluated your qualifications. However, if you intend to be an international teacher after your PGCE, I would do it and be assured that it’s done for whenever or wherever you go next.
@@DiasporaDoodles pls I don't get the last part of ur message.
Well, my advice is to authenticate and certify your documents before you leave, so that you are free to move around the world as an international teacher after you finish, without having to go back to your home country each time you get a new job as a teacher.
I am a qualified teacher with 12 years experience, though havebeen trugling all rhis while for international teaching job, but all avail. I have to go for the legalization and authentication of my certificates immediately, I hope I may stand the chance of getting an international job this year, please I really need your mentorship. Thanks ma.
I am glad you found value in the live event and in the video I posted. Have you done the conversion of your degree?
@@DiasporaDoodles yes ma, I have done my Credentials (transcript) Evaluation through SPANTRAN which is Bachelor of education, concentration in Geography, I have apply through FACES, EPI, IAG and some other J1 sponsors but turn down reason that I am not qualified for Social Studies and they don't offer geography as a subject, Rather geography has been embedded in The core subject which is Social studies which also compromises History, sociology and economic. But from my research is like Geography is offered in Texas.
