Agreed, it takes away from the nastalga of the truck. I'm a 90s model freak. I have eight of them and rebuild them for a living. I've found many 2wd wheels that look good. But, Nothing beats the stock 96 to early 99 slanted five spoke solid center cap 4x4 wheels. I have a set on my all original 95 4x4 Sierra show truck and it looks awesome. I keep the 93-95 fake bolt pattern caps around for authenticity.
@@maxb2299 yep, they made both 5 and 6 lug bolt pattern caps, they only made them for two years though, 94 and 95. Nobody liked them and the moronic people would try to impact wrench the fake plastic bolts and break them. I think they made some in 93 but I'm not exactly sure on that one. They're relatively easy to find and relatively cheap as well.

Put the stocks back on and color those letters yellow! I did that to my 85 Silverado and 2000 Silverado. Peeps were going crazy askin where I bought them. Told them a yellow paint marker, a piece of cardboard to lay on and Ice tea is how i did it

I love that I still have mine. Rolls with the old 15 x 10 rims on 50's . Some dealership's got crazy with that style.
They didn't come with 15x10, they were fitted with 15x7's --had one and went and bought some factory truck rallies for it as they were 15x8's.
