Finally went with an exhaust on the commuter Corolla!

I was eyeing up several exhaust systems such as 2J Racing, Apexi, Remark etc, and theses were all Quad Exit setups starting at $700+ range. In addition I was also checking the HKS, and Remark (Center Exit) systems, and I just didnt like the way they looked at all.
Overall the HKS sounded the best for me, but I just could not fall in love with the center exit style.
Thats what led me to start looking in HKS Universal mufflers. I was originally going to go with HKS, similar to what i had on my old 2003 Subaru Forester, but I decided to give the Greddy RS Revolution muffler a try because of the price point, and I know that Greddy is a reputable company. After getting the product in, and installed, I was not disappointed.

Overall I am very happy with this muffler as far as the style, tone, and overall finish! Next is to modify rear lower valance to fit the new muffler setup! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
sounds so good and not to crazy, been goin back to this vid for a while now and just finally decided to order one yesterday and can’t wait for my corolla to finally make some noise
AWESOME man!! I dont think you will regret it! Im still loving mine :)
How’s it been 10 months with the Greddy?
Great sound brother! Keep up the awesome vids!
Thank you!!! 🙏🙏🙏
I love the positioning of that muffler. Your car looks pretty good, ain’t gonna lie.
Thanks mang! 🙏🙏🙏
Sounds so good I had to order for myself! Great video! I'm sold!
That is awesome! I think you will be very happy 🤟🏼🤟🏼
i love driving a manual but as time goes by people do evolve too so if we watch people with automatic pls respect the person and dont have to say nah matic..its there own money and car..lol
All in now, Fujibo!
Thumbs up, looking forward to the valance going on
Thanks man! Me too, I’m just waiting to hear from my paint to say “she’s ready!” Lol
Quick note! *REAR VALANCE MODIFICATION. The Rear lower valance is currently being modified to fit the new muffler setup and painted black. The piping is OEM 1.75" to the muffler. This was installed on a 2020 SE CVT Model. Hope you all are doing well! *LINK TO BUY MUFFLER on AMAZON: www.amazon.com/GReddy-11001125-Revolution-Universal-Muffler/dp/B072KNXW45
Will be keeping an eye for this one 🤙 looks nice and sounds incredible
@@romnickcallo1193 thank you sir!!!
I watched this video and bought the muffler right after … so excited
nicee! You wont be disappointed!
it just got here and gets put on WEDNESDAY! Thank you for the in depth video. This helped with me purchase 100%!!
damn, that was quick! My pleasure🙌🏼🙌🏼
Sounds nice on the CVT. Might sound even better on a manual. Currently have Remark quad exhaust and I love it.
Dude yes. I would love to hear this setup on manual 🤤 yes! The remark is also good choice for sho!
AMJ's always got all my exhaust business.
Oh yesssir!
@@FujiboHeavy I'ma need see it in person, lol.
@@Bluekbizzel_gaming yea man, she wide open at the moment, until i can modify the rear valance piece :)
That's sick! Wish there was. More options for the sedan models
Thank you! Yea if I had sedan, would definitely have to go custom :)
Thank you for this bro ❤❤
I installed these mufflers on my corolla with the same 2.0 engine and i was wondering if you had put a wider piping in my car it wasn’t as deep of a tone did you keep the 1.75 inch piping or did you put 2.5 inch piping all the way to the muffler
Wow that sounds sooooo goood. I have the remark center dual one but after hearing this.. ahh so tempting.
Thanks dude! You could easily sell the Remark and get this setup and not have pay, anything extra, assuming you could get around $300+ for it :) Make sure to have a good , reputable muffler shop lined up and get a quote! You can even show them my video if it helps. Best of luck!
Dudeeeee the price on just this exhaust went up holy cow
Do you think the 3 inch would be louder or quieter than your 2.5? Or is that just so its closer to OEM piping?
If it sounds that good on the CVT I can only imagine how’s it gonna sound on my manual 🤤 oh and how long did it take to get to your place when you ordered it?
I know right??? It arrived in a few days :) I bought mine from eBay seller
I've seen 2 on the road yesterday and they look good with that tail back there
Love it Bo!👍
Thank you brudda!!! Hope you are doing well my friend!
Great Video!!! I just copped my one and uploaded it on my YT Channel
How is the drone on it? I’m thinking on way this way
Man I have listen this like every time. I have to 2013 auris but I wondering if I use ebay N1 blue tip muffler if this will sound the same. I'm running toyota 2zr cvt in mine
i can’t speak on how the eBay muffler will sound and hold up over time, but I will say the engine size makes a difference too. What size engine is in your 2013 Auris? (1.8L or 2.0L?)
I know the interior sound rating was a 5/10, but what about exhaust drone? What's THAT measured at for you on a scale on 1-10? I bought my car, a manual, partly with the intent of using it for ridesharing. If I modify my exhaust, I need the exhaust drone to be as close to _non-existent_ as possible.
Yea there is definitely drone. But I don’t notice it. So the 5/10 is my overall rating including drone. Compared to oem which is none. Other people are way more sensitive to noise than I am so I may think it’s nothing , but the next person may say it’s too much lol. If you remove the oem muffler it’s never gonna be as quiet as oem. It’s about 36” long x 6” wide. That’s a lot of sound suppression. Only real way to find out is to swap out the muffler and see how it sounds to you.If you cant take it. Swap it back. However if you keep the car rpms around 3k I don’t think this particular setup would be too bad. However, I can’t personally offer advice since I don’t have this setup on a manual
Hey all, did you match the 2.5 inlet with the piping? Looking to do with another car and wanted to know if mine is a 2.0 would the 2.5 work
My bad, just read the description, appreciate it
is there a way to have it link up all the way from the cats, bc i didnt cut mine and i dont want to. I just want to keep the oem diameter piping like you but just bolt it on back to the cats?
Im sure that would require custom piping work that any reputable exhaust shop can perform. I would call around and ask different shops. Just let them know what youre looking to have done
Is it 2 step? How do u make it go wawawawawa
You think the tone will be deeper if you do a 2.5 inch piping from the catback to the greedy?
I’m not sure :( I think the deep tones come from small piping. The factory piping is 1.75” , which matches the 160ish hp of the Rolla engine. I’d recommend trying straight pipe from catback and see how you like that tone. But I haven’t heard an e210 with 2.5” piping, from catback to Greddy muffler for any reference:(
Just ordered for my SE Sedan can’t wait to have it put on these cars needs some more noise but nothing ricey LOL
Nice👍🏼 It will sound great
did you get bigger piping from the cat back? Or literally just get the muffler welded on?
Nope. Just a simple muffler swap, nothing else 🙂
do you think it’ll fit if you only removed the fake vent and the suspension is normal?
It probably would. It depends on the look that you want :) I really wanted the angled look so I wanted the muffler shop to have as much freedom to install angled muffler , then I would modify the diffuser to fit the setup. But what you could do is remove the fake vent, cut the plastic behind it, then ask the muffler shop if they can weld the muffler to fit the cutout :) And the suspension I have is the Tein Lowering Springs. Everything else is oem !
I'm going to switch my muffler on my 2015 Toyota Corolla. I been thinking of getting either the Greddy RS muffler like you have, skunk2 muffler, DC sports muffler ex-5016, HKS universal hi power muffler. What advice for the next muffler for my Toyota Corolla? I removed my stock resonator and replaced it with a Vibrant 12 inch bottle style resonator 2.25 inlet/outlet. What do you think I should do about a muffler? I'm in the Maryland area but I'm closer to the Waldorf/Laplata area.
Honestly go with whichever muffler that best fits your needs (price/looks/sounds) they will all sound different, but only you can decide if you like the setup. I don’t know about skunk2, but the others sound like good quality brands to me
@@FujiboHeavy thankyou I appreciate it. I know that the greddy RS muffler is a great choice. Do you get headaches when you drive car? I had many mufflers on my Corolla like magnaflow, cherrybomb glasspack, paradox signature series elite performance muffler. I want something that's super deep/throaty but will not give me a headache every time I drive my car. I don't want to get pulled over either but I want my car to sound good. I'm tired of the magnaflow muffler I have on my car it just doesn't do it for me anymore.
@@marvelousmarvin956 I personally love my Greddy, but I have high tolerance for noise too so idk. Only way to find out is send it, and see how it goes 😅
@@FujiboHeavy I'm going to get the greddy rs muffler like you it's alot less in price then hks and still made of 304 stainless steel. Hks and skunk2 universal mufflers are sold out on the websites I have been checking.
Hey I had a quick question about what you did to install it! I have the same muffler and car but my shop had told me that it was too big to connect to the pipe from my car and I’d have to come up with some sort of custom connector for it. Did you have to do that?
Yea so most custom muffler shops can easily create a custom pipe that adapts to the Greddy muffler and weld it on. Where are you located? I would recommend contacting a few local muffler shops and see if they all say the same thing. Anyways my muffler was able to easily cut and weld on a custom adapter :)
@@FujiboHeavy Aw okay that’s cool! I’m in the Davenport area of Florida and my local shop had told me it would be too much work for them and they didn’t wanna charge me for something that may or may not work lol
@@asahelalmaguer9940 yea dude. Def shop around man. Have your tried Pitts Stop Number 1 Muffler shop? That looks like a shop that would easily be able to do that for you. But definitely contact any local automotive shops and ask around. Just ask if they can custom weld a universal muffler to your car and see what they charge. Prices will vary, but an experienced shop will says yes, and should only take about an hour max to do. Some places may want to see your car/muffler in person to give you more accurate quote, but yea just call around and see which shop sounds most trust worthy to you !
@@asahelalmaguer9940 no way that would be too much work lmao, that just sounds like they don't want to do it.
Mind doing some fly bys at normal speed and "not illegal at all" speeds?
I may do some drive bys later on! Just need to find a nice spot away from residents :)
the bumper can break with the wind? i got the same exhaust y the bumper is floopy
Not sure. Did you remove the lower center valance where the fake tips are attached? Or did you keep it on and modify it?
Is this a 2zr engine?
Can this do a dual exit on the Corolla sedan ?
its possible. It will depend of the muffler clearance itself and a muffler shop that can custom create for you. Or you can buy a catback with dual mufflers
That is so cool,Can I put 2 on my toyota corolla zr like that, because I have 2 replica at back?
I’m sure a reputable muffler shop and easily do that for you!
Thanks buddy
@@vikihare1105 my pleasure! Best of luck!
fuck that actually sounds nice
are you driving normally here or with paddles?
Used manual mode for most of the video
9 months and still no fly bys
Would this do anything to warranty? Have you gotten any codes? I figured not since its stock piping. I know it sounds dumb but valuable question I guess.
Dont take my word on it lol. But im 90% sure the muffler should not affect the engine. So make sure to SAVE the OEM muffler, so if you ever do need to go back to stock, the muffler shop can install the OEM one back on for you :) Not a dumb question at all, got to be safe!
Bro this sound clip is only the catback right no mid pipe yet.
yes. Only muffler replacement. Everything from muffler to front is oem 👍🏼
@@FujiboHeavyso you left the resonator? Didn’t delete it? Contemplating on having mine deleted when I get mine put on and wondering if I should or not.
I just got mine taken to the shop & they said that they couldn’t put it on because of the inlet of the muffler is 2.25” & to step up that piping there wouldn’t be enough room under the car. What exactly did you get done under your car cause this body shop here is telling me they can’t do it & I bought the same exact muffler as you😢
You may have to contact other muffler shops for price quote. The skills do vary from shop to shop, so they probably just are not confident doing it
@@FujiboHeavy sucks, they’re one of the ONLY shops in my town that do mufflers. I’m suppperrr bummed
@@EpicFACE09090 aww man. What is your city, state?
Perhaps you can send me pictures of the undercarriage of your e210 with the GReddy muffler if you have any? Jsut so I can see what your setup looks like
you can probably get screenshots from my video. Or show them my video 😅
Do you have to cut off the muffler
yes. The muffler shop cut off factory muffler and welded new muffler
Did you delete the resonators ?
Nope. Only muffler replacement
What other mods did you do
As far as engine mods go in this vid, just the cold air intake and muffler, but currently I’m running only the muffler with stock airbox :) so engine is bone stock with the Greddy Muffler
Can you also put the part number pleSs

@@FujiboHeavy what size fits the Corolla?
@@aduck1390 the specific model I got was Greddy 11001125. 2.5” inlet and 4” muffler tip. But this is one of many universal mufflers, and a medium to advanced skilled muffler shop can custom weld any muffler to any car. It just really depends on the shops experience
