+TorridlyBoredShopper Yes I saw them at the Masquerade. I drove from Nashville to Atlanta to see them there. I have driven to Atlanta to attend quite a few shows at the Masquerade. Hated it when I heard that they are closing it down.
That's awesome, man. I lived in Goodlettsville, right off of Nashville, at the time and drove down with 4 friends. We had a history with the place; The Masquerade was where I got to see Type O and other bands plus I met Raymond Watts when Pig opened for KMFDM in a way that ingratiated me to him forever. I had gotten pretty tipsy because of their open bar policy and went to stand in line for the bathroom, which was a pretty lengthy process. A guy closer to the front was being a jackass and picking on some overweight teen really terribly over a few minutes, so being bored and inebriated, I started heckling him. Everyone in the line was laughing and the guy behind me, dressed in this shimmering suit, joined in. This went on for a while until the jerk in the front finally got frustrated, cried for a reason I did not understand then, and left (like i said, I was pretty tipsy). After I stumbled back to my friends - and I hated those floors - Pig came out and I saw that the guy in line was Raymond Watts. He tipped his hat, said something off mike about morons and not washing their hands, and then proceeded. Stuff like that makes me miss something The Masquerade always held.
+TorridlyBoredShopper "T(to the)B(to the)S" The place could be a real sweatbox though. I saw Ministry there on their "farewell" tour in 2008 and was drenched in sweat by the time the show ended. It was only April too!
Mind control is here, we just had to wait till everyone got it. Don't be sharp about it. I am very tired as a person. Make it stop, but too much need.........for....think for yourself so I can get a good sleep please.
I totally forgot about this song. I love how political KMFDM has gotten in the last few albums! songs like New American Century, Shake the Cage, Quake, and Brainwashed. I've been a fan since XTORT and I think they have only gotten better since!
HOLY S*** WHAT ALBUM IS THIS ON!?!?!?!?!?!? BECAUSE IT IS CLEARLY NOT ON THAT ALBUM THAT YOU PUT AS THE THUMBNAIL THAT I CURRENTLY OWN RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!HERE LOOK I AM FLIPPING IT OVER AND LOOKING AT THE SONG LIST RIGHT NOW AND THERE IS NO SONG ON MDFMK'S FIRST ALBUM NAMED AMERICAN DREAM!!!!!!!!!! SO IF SOMEONE CAN TELL ME HOW I CAN OWN THIS SONG ON WHATEVER ALBUM IT'S ON THAT WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@knightrheynar5542 that's freaking crazy!!!!!!!! Thanx like a million!!!! I don't know why they gave the Japanese more stuff than us. Maybe they realize that Americans have a reputation of being in grateful
Chris Lund What do you mean by this statement? Is it that since you bought this album you think that is a good enough reason to take this song off youtube?
I remember when I saw them at the Fillmore in San Francisco for the last show they opened up with this track
Just as relevant today as it was then.
The song Control? Is becoming even more relevant as well.. unfortunately.
Haha! Captain Rainbow - kudos from one Captain with a taste for industrial to another! Cheers mate! ^ ^
It's incredible that this song was somehow released BEFORE the 2nd Gulf War.
Prophetic.
I saw them in Atlanta in 2000 and they opened the show with this song.
+Chad Radford At the Masquerade?

It's a joke about hacking the system, limited choice, control.
Chris Lund I kinda thought it was a fan thing by saying that, had a long day yesterday.
4 people aren't megafantastic!
