  • This is my Litex Ellington Deluxe, shown with the original stencil blades. The file number is incorrectly typed on this fan. It was manufactured by Air Cool in March 1985. Despite being made by Air Cool, the file number is weird. Typically, the file number that indicates Air Cool is E75795. This fan has the file number E75759. This fan, like the hugger cousin is beginning to show signs of needing work. The finish has scratches, one arm is worse than the others, the canopy has one mark of rust, the blades are warping. Despite being a better fan by Litex, the original bracket broke, so I had to use the bracket off of my Harbor Breeze Classic. Other than that, reverse switch is still functioning, unlike the CEC hanging next to it. The glass is not original as the fan didn't come with one. I was so happy to get it because it had 5 stencil blades on it, and it was a design that was on my dream board with the footprint vents. The motor inside is a 172 by 18 or so millimeter stamped steel spinner with open sides and vents on both bells. The Downrod is one of those screw in ones, which I do not really like, but it's skinnier than most fans of today use, so I left it be. The fan spins quite fast considering it is a 52 inch span and it has 13° blade pitch as opposed to 12°. It is quite powerful too, just like its slightly younger cousin, the Close Up.

The stencil design on the blades of this fan are the more ornate stencil instead of the standard Casablanca stencil which is on most fans
