Man, you know what would be absolutely riveting? Speedforming Alaska; that’s what I want to see.
I would love this
You guys are weird.
Used to be easy as Kamchadals, but leviathan kinda fucked up the Siberian tribes.
Playing as Ashikaga or Ueshegi would probabably be the easiest option
@@Moomoo254 Siberian tribes were fixed according to patch notes
"Beyond the Pale" is Ireland itself, it comes from the perspective of the vikings and English that it was death to go outside the walls of the Pale, which was their sanctuary.
I played an irish custom nation (starting in the province of pale) and i conquered all of Ireland, but i had to wait several more decades to form Ireland. Ireland is such a small formable that it shouldn't require adm tech, especially since some formables don't
Also i didn't know that the ai could actually uncon. good to know
true ireland speedform cn guide- traditions: max adm tech cost, max tech cost
government: republic
religion: *c o n f u c i a n*
thing is an irish kindom needs better ways to handle the potatoes thus adm tech is essential
So btw I've started this- 40 years in I'm only 2 adm techs away
and 23 years ahead of time on adm tech lol
Plan is: release vassal, give all land but capital (using "grant core" so they instantly core it), immediately dec, full annex, then release and play as and wait out the truce to finally take my capital and independence from my former self, then form ireland
This is because custom nations can't take ideas from a formable, and 1 the rest of my ideas are trash while the traditions and first one are completely admin meme (10 tech cost, 10 admin tech cost, 1 monthly admin) and 2 I just want the irish ideas anyway
After this I'm probably gonna turn it into a new world game if I feel like continuing.
Ireland formed in 1501, including time to release a non-cn vassal, feed them land, and then perform the whole switch to them while keeping my land.
@@addisonbaker8211 Impressive. (To someone like me, anyway)
I'm no trickster at this game, i would not have been able to execute this.
I have found that marking Pale as a desired province will often result in England selling it to me during their civil war. I've had it happen three different runs.
you know what country does NOT need admin 10 tech to form ? Romania ^.^ , just putting it out there ...
Tbh, Romania is a pain to form anyway.
Speed form Sokoto. Has the stupidest requirements for speed forming.
What are the requirements?
What are the requirements?
@@R-H-B One is "Usman dan Fodio" event to fire. It can only fire 1770 or later.
@@kimtuominen5856 "How to Form Sokoto in 300 YEARS!"
Brb time to go form Ireland - have to say these videos are great! Really make me want to try out the nation each time.
Thanks so much!
Laith wsp
I usually go for Dublin (Pale) when England is fighting France, after the Maine event
England just declares million wars against me, having Castile and Portugal as allies. I enentually fall bancrunpcy and run away to form USA
I'm not too great at the game and got no dlcs but I just allied France and scot then go to war with one of the Irish provinces that are allied with eng before they get vassalised, I managed to do the same but took me 30 years instead
@@alehanedilko2147 Irish cultured America, historically accurate.
just make a mod that allows you to ignore the admin requirement for "more polished content"
As soon as I add non-ironman mods, the integrity of the speedform is questionable
@@QuarbitGaming so much for the modding community
@@QuarbitGaming I get why you'd be interested in that, but honestly these are not added to any leaderboards, and atleast I can say on my behalf as a viewer that I 100% trust you not to savescum. So, non-ironman = no biggie, atleast in my opinion.
@@MasterMcPvP Yeah but I guess it doesnt really matter if he forms the nation or not... he could but the game just says screw you...
@@MasterMcPvP I know most of my viewers trust me not to use mods which could buff the nation I'm playing. But as soon as the achievement button is greyed out, there will always be people who accuse me of cheating and I can't be bothered to deal with that.
10:55 not exactly, if you look at the date it’s exactly 5 years after the war was declared (well, 5 years worth of monthly ticks later) because having full occupation on the war leader after 5 years of war, regardless of when during the war you get the full occupation and regardless if you’re fighting their allies or not, you’ll get 100% warscore, the ai doesn’t actually decide to surrender, it’s just a game mechanic
Does this count for coaliton wars aswell?
@@tilli1514 It should
@@andredie45 thid changes everything
@@tilli1514 Did some testing to verify, it does indeed work against coalitions. Also tested the unconditional surrender, and found that if one side of the war surrenders, the surrender button for the other side of the war will be greyed out and disabled, which means that the ai didn’t surrender in the video
@@andredie45 Thank you this makes coalition wars that much easier
9:05 The reason your navies aren't fighting one another is because there was already a battle taking place in that "province/tile". Essentially, if more than one battle can occur in the same province, the armies just kinda... Wait patiently for the other armies/navies to stop fighting before they start
very polite navies, I guess
11:00 that predates the 'Unconditional Surrender' button - the rule is if you've fully occupied the war leader and the war has been ongoing for more than 5 ~~months~~ years, you'll get 100% warscore.
5 years*
@@Asuroh that's what I meant haha
Its five years yes
AI doesn't actually unconditionally surrender. The way it works is that, after 5 years of war, allied provinces no longer count towards total provinces needed for 100% warscore - meaning that if you fully occupy the main belligerent, you get 100%
Ulaidh is pronounced "Ulla" if anyone is wondering. Tyrconnell (my home country) is "Cheer-Connell".
Very well played!!! Loved the video.
Great Video my man :)
Speed form Byzantium as Montferrat
The only formables I can think of where the tech requirement actually makes sense are the Commonwealth and Russia.
How about Spain and GB
Well no, Italy and Germany would be really weird to be united even sooner as they were formed after the ending date of EU4 for instance.
@@Barthijzz Yes, but they existed as medieval kingdoms, many HRE monarchs were crowned as "King of Italy" or "King of Germany" and the idea of unification was kinda around throughout all this period.
Something similar would have to go to Russia: the idea of unification of Ruthenian lands was pretty strong ever since Ancient Rus broke up, and technically proclamation of Russia was dedicated to the unification of Northeastern Russian lands and basically just meant that the Muscovite ruler is now strong enough. For Russia I think it would have made more sense to have as conditions having a certain amount of states (instead of just controlling several to-be Russian cities), maybe having a kingdom rank and also the non-existence of Byzantium as it already exists for Romania (as irl many attributes of Byzantine statehood were transferred to Russia; it probably wouldn't have happened without fall of Constantinople).
While the Commonwealth was a very particular idea dictated by the context of its time; not even sure their forming has to be necessarily tied to tech either.
Honestly I'm not even sure this tech thing even has to exist, both for in-game and history/lore reasons.
@@andatwsk2810 i never play in western europe so i forgot.
Wasn't Russia just united when Ivan the Terrible declared himself Tsar of all Rus and successor to the Roman Empire? Due to this I'd say that they should replace the tech cost requirement with the requirement of Byzantium not existing before you can form it, just like they do with Romania.
Love your videos:)
Quarbit Gaming: 8 to 1? I like those odds!
thanks for videos bruh
thank you
Is see that you are up early and catching that morning sun.
Your first pronunciation of Sligo (Slie-go not Slee-go) was correct
Sligo is pronounced Sly-Go if anyone is wondering.
Yeah and Kildare is kill-dare not kill-dar-aye
Lol a tothepoint intro great job.
Admin tech 10 requirement is annoying but if it wasn’t there then you could form Spain as soon as the Iberian wedding happens making playing as Castile more OP
Northern Ireland unites independent Ireland... My god.
Well this is before 1600a so Northern Ireland or Ulster is the most Irish part of Ireland until the 1600s
F for all the brave boat man that were lost to unite Ireland.
the real mvps.
nice pfp btw
When I first found you I thought this was Arumbas new channel
"The English are coming"
I can't remember the last game where england didn't ally to Castile on top of starting with Portugal.
*cries*
Not: Kill-Darry, like Chewyshoot said. Not: Kill-Dara, like you said. Kill-Dare, Kill-Dare. You know, HOW IT'S SPELT!

ironman mode
thnk yo quabrit😼
2:12 I think that's because most of the Irish OPMs have massive navies. I can't explain the landlocked OPMs though.
You are going to regret setting a mega campaign as the promise for 50k, more than the mongol one.
I regret nothing
When I did an Ireland run, I was able to get everything but Meath within ten years but just took foreeeeever to get it off the English
Nice, a megacampaign.
U are fkng awesome
based
Can you do another random nation every 10 or so years thingy?
It would be cool if you revisit your Portuguese income and get as much income as possible. I have been theory crafting (sorta) and forming Netherlands as Portugal, getting their government but keeping the Portuguese ideas for maximum global tariffs and trade power. Do you think it is actually viable? I think so and find it fun.
If you think you can, try to for Romania.

To answer all of the "make a mod for tech requirement" comments: As soon as I use 1 mod which disables achievements, there will always be people who think I'm cheating (because there's no way of telling which mods are enabled). I can't be bothered to deal with people like that all day, so I will continue to use ironman with achievements enabled.
Speed form Alaska or no life :troll:
Yes, you are correct, you haven't gone beyond the Pale, because beyond the Pale is the rest of Ireland lol I always thought that was a stupid mission title
U should do Romania speedforming
Would you do a campaign series for 1.31? I kinda miss your series.
Probably not. I don't really enjoy doing series that much anymore
you should do this with regions not forming nations so like whole italy region or germany region
Maybe there is some kind of mod which removes admin tech necessity? For future formable runs
If you're on an island in any paradox game you can just laugh your way through the centuries and wreck just about anyone.
The AI is particularly stupid with its navy and *extremely* stupid with landing troops
yo la forme en crusaders kings 2 con la misma provincia que elegiste en el video
The admin tech cost is to force you to hold it long enough to form Ireland... keeping the land is part of the ach.
that's why you would normally rush scotland and not take meath. owning ireland + scotland can usually provide enough power to 1v1 England + you already have the strait
You should drop out of Ironman so you can console the tag switch.
Give us the moneyshot, man
Will we see one for the indian formables? (Bharat/Hindustan)
Not a bad idea, like a true heir of Ashoka run
Very original, I know
Yeah I guess so
What do you do if an irish province decides to ally with England and no one else
i did it pretty easily the only difficult bit is getting the one english province
speed form a country with a tech requirement by starting at a latter game date
it kinda weird that i've played so much and watched so much eu4 but I don't think i've ever seen someone play at a later start date
all of the later start dates haven't been updated in like 5 years. they're atrocious to play on
I miss your identety crisis sieries
Speedrun full annexation as the Ottomans
Can you do the same thing for The Netherlands?
Surely there’s a mod which removes the ADM tach requirements?
Had you considered modding out the tech requirement? Or is that hardcoded?
I have a mod that removed the tech requirement, but I forgot what it was called
What about Sardinia-Piedmont? Does that tag need admin tech to form?
Adm tech 10 also
speedform scandinavia as iceland
SPEEDFORM TIBET
using ireland to speedform alaska would work easy
Spead forme sakoto
So many loans. Is the campaign still playable after this? I mean, you're deeply in debts and the manpower will recover very slow. Also there will be rebels from the conquered provinces soon and not too few, because they all are different separatists movements.
playable, yes. optimal, no. enjoyable, not really
@@QuarbitGaming A shame. I started an Ireland campaign myself and hoped to learn a few tricks here. But for Luck of the Irish and Spanish Fly this isn't what I looked for. It's still a great and enjoyable video though. And it's astounds me how fast it is possible to form Ireland. But I'm always too cautious in taking loans and using merchs.
Speedform Commonwealth
Why in my game did England chose to ally Tyrone? Portugal, Castille and Tyrone... natural band of allies there for England...
So I'm still not too great at the game and have no dlcs but managed to do the same but in 30 years.. I've no loans but instead about 490 ducats from war with England (which btw are in the bin since I made them annul treaty with por and Spain and are now heavily loosing a war with Brittany 😅)
Edit: England are in the bin...Im taking over!

it isn´t understandable for me, so fast you go forward, why england didn´t attackled you with 32K units and how you could defend against them. But the war against england is the main part of the problem ti unit irland, so it didn´t helped so much. The rest is to fast for me too, but perhaps my problem of understanding is my english to. For me not very helpful, but it seems other haven´t this problem... End you didn´t show the diffuculty. Or did i oversee it? but in vieos i didn´t see it too. Perhaps you play on very easy? ;P
tyrone is the best 1 province minor
Please mega campaign !'!!

Speed form Germany
Do your mega campaign in like india or something. I can't find any non-european mega campaigns at all and that's boring.
Speedform Byzantium as athens
Unite Spain as portugal
cursed
i want a second episode of each speed forming where he fixes the nations he speed forms. basically by the end of the vid, No debt, 3 stab, no war exostion, no coloistion, no boarder gore
Can u just make a video when you try to forming Roman empire quickly like Mongol empire?
Nice video 👍 disliked for referring to countries as tags
Tech requirements for nation forming makes perfect sense to me. The way bonuses are balanced, you only get to a certain tech level by a certain century. Keeps the historical realism. I don't think EU would be fun if it wasn't vaguely historically accurate
