🍽Ingredients for Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo:
►2 lbs Chicken Breast
►3/4 lbs fettuccine pasta (or angel hair or vermicelli pasta)
►1 lb white mushrooms thickly sliced
►1 small onion finely chopped
►3 cloves garlic minced
►3 1/2 cups half and a half *
►1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped, plus more for garnish
►1 tsp sea salt or to taste, plus more for pasta water
►1/4 tsp black pepper or to taste
►3 Tbsp olive oil divided
►1 Tbsp butter
*To substitute half and half, use equal parts of milk and heavy cream

I recently used this recipe and was overwhelmed on how incredible it was. The garlic and mushrooms truly DID give it a gourmet flavor that you would expect at a fancy restaurant. Definitely will be making this again!

I like it how you describe the amounts of salt and pepper and fresh parsley. Ppl usually just write 'to taste'. But ppl like me who are New to these dishes need to know the amount. Thanks. My granddaughter asked me if we could make this a couple of days ago. I've never made it and my wife hasn't made it in over 30 years. Since I had not made anything like this before I cheated a little and bought the sauce but followed your easy instructions for everything else. It came out great! Even the 6 yo picky eater liked it. When I bought this at Olive Garden it came with fried zucchini I cooked that for the first time also, I should have cooked more there wasn't enough to have seconds. Thank you for the confidence to try. We're going to try the shrimp next, maybe I'll get brave and cook the sauce.

Just made him n my 17yr old and my husband both loved it n said it was the best pasta i ever made, and my husband normally doesnt like fettuccine alfredo. I already had a store bought alfredo sauce in a jar, so i did everything, except instead of adding the half n half, i added the jar of sauce to the onions, mushrooms, garlic. Very tasty.

I got scared when I saw the pot full of sauce, I placed a fresh pot of water on the stove to boil more pasta, but after I added the chicked and the initial pasta that was already prepared, all was perfect.

Hey Natasha! I've been looking for a chicken alfredo recipe for a while now, and I found this one and decided to try it and I used angel hair pasta because that is what I could find and it turned out super delicious! I also used one of my pots that weren't that deep and it worked just fine and I tried it with some mozzarella cheese on top to make it more flavorful. Love you Natasha! ❤❤❤❤

I did this yesterday but instead of chicken breast, I went for baked honey chicken ham. For a thicker consistency I add cornstarch slurry, parmesan cheese and chilli flakes before eating. My husband loves it! 🥰
