Only crips & bloods in the bay area are Asian & samoan/islanders like San Jose, now northern Cali got plenty crips & bloods which isn't considered the bay area like Sacramento Stockton
Correct. There isn't any black bloods and crips in the bay area. And the only place on Northern California with black bloods and crips is sac and stockon.
Oakland, Frisco, Vallejo, Richmond, etc. got Asian/Islander Crips and Bloods too. Not just San Jose. But there are NO Black Bloods and Crips in the Bay! San Jose has some Black Crips and Bloods, but San Jose has a totally different culture than the rest of the Bay. It's like half LA half Bay, but instead of Surenos it is a Norteno stronghold. One of the reasons why some people say San Jose isn't really part of the Bay.

Can’t speak on Northern Cali politics being from PO but I have always respected the way that the Bay Area deflected the LA/Compton gang culture from taking over. I wish Portland would have followed suit but Portland culture before the gangs was more hustlers, players and pimps. When the Westside Pirus came up followed by other gangs in the mid 1980’s it was a wrap.1988 was the first gang-related homicide in Portland.
