How Joelinton has not had a Brazil call up is scandalous. Bruno is magic and should be in their starting eleven never mind being dropped and Fred is still in the squad.
I get why joelinton hasn’t. It’s a very tough side to get into. However it baffled me that last international duty they rested a lot of key players to give other players a chance and it surprised me that joelinton was overlooked but I just look at that Brazil team and it’s incredible would be very hard to get into
I can understand why he hasn’t in the past given how much quality they have but if J7 doesn’t get into the next Brazil squad it will be scandalous Imo. J7 has turned into an absolute monster. Against Spurs he managed to play in 3 positions and did brilliantly. The first goal he started the move with a marauding run from the LW which was his starting position, he then scored his goal like an elite striker, and then when Bruno went off he slotted into CDM and was outstanding. Someone with that quality and versatility deserves his shot in the Brazil team.
As a Newcastle & England fan, I would be scared to see England facing these 2 in midfield. They play with more passion than anyone in the England midfield imo. The fact Joelinton didn’t get a call up, and Bruno barely even played in the World Cup, is probably why they left the tournament early and their manager quit shortly after. They were overlooked because they play for Newcastle, we’re still far too underestimated as a club. This will change very quickly if Howe keeps things going as they have been.

Must have been tough for him mentally to go from a perceived flop who was often unfairly scapegoated to one of the most popular players. Love these two, this season has been a dream!

As a Newcastle fan since the mid 90s, Bruno is probably the best player I've ever seen play for us and that's saying something. That doesn't stop Joelinton being my current favourite player, though. He's an absolute machine, runs through brick walls, adding goals and assists to his game. His strength on the ball is another level. How lucky we are to experience these two in our team. Supporting a club is a roller coaster and you've got to enjoy it as much as you can, and this is definitely a time to enjoy being a supporter of our great club.
Bruno will probably start to slot in, Joe will probably get the same treatment antony and rodrygo got when they broke in 😅 The squad is stacked, you have to prove yourself as sub first.

Tite had his favourites, which he paid for when Fred went forward in extra time and allowed croatias only shot on target the whole game which led to the goal 😂 But Joe only started getting attention in the last few weeks, he didn't have enough of a spotlight during the world Cup, martinelli barely got in and he was on the 1st place team at the time.
There's always going to be speculation when you have the quality Bruno does, couple that with a tradition of selling and its to be expected. No matter when/if Bruno leaves him and his family will never have what they have in Newcastle.
I though they were obnoxious english lads and I clicked on this wanting to not like them ( I recently started watching EPL again and my club is Brighton but have been tryign to watch all matches lately) but they turn out to be so wholesome and down to earth and suddenly I realize how the team is so good. Dispite some teams in shambles its hard to find any team that is bad in the EPL really, each one has something to enjoy.
Felt sorry for Joelinton under Bruce. He was never a number 9 at Hoffenheim (always on the left of a front 3 or wing) but Bruce gave him the number 9 and threw him up front on his own with no support.
Bruno doesn’t start (he should) for Brazil because unlike last season when he scored 7 in no time this time he hasn’t assisted as many consistently and scored 3 league goals. The way Brazil are they want the big name players playing and have so many they could include - even when not doing too well - and Bruno is on the bench. He seems to be overlook but there’s more to it than that. He’s great, breaks play up intercepts passing etc but if he was a tiny bit more consistent with goals/assists then he’d be starting. Sad but true. But they play casimero in a Bruno role, they play wide players a lot so he’s really up against it. For now I understand it but next season I think we will see the very best of his game. That’s if Madrid don’t come in for him. As for joe, he’s not in the squad for country cos they’ve so many players and for how bad he was and how wasteful when he signed initially and before the change in form hit, now he should be in the Brazil team he’s one of the best this season in the league. Was at Norwich away last season and we sang big joe of the park at the end ..!! I have to say I never thought I would ever sing his name when he arrived he looked like he would never make a footballer as long as he had a whole in his arse .!!!
