Going to load 22 tons of ballast as we load triaxle dump trucks at our Mapletown ballast pile. Made June 03, 2024 #triaxledumptruck#loadingtriaxledumptruck#triaxle
Dave, I like how on any given day your called upon to complete an important job using different skills, knowledge, and experience you have obtained through the years. Very enjoyable to watch...
Thanks Mr. Dave for an awesome relaxing video, lol sitting back in my Big desk chair, Many moons ago I use to drive Backhoe on tracks to load sand in Tractor Trailer dumps. I was about 28 years old, Big John Deer Tractor, it was a fun job for a season, but I want a big Tractor Trailer of my own. I drove 12 years for Mayflower, my first Tractor Trailer was International Cabover with 48 foot Moving Van, now that was fun, but extremely hard work.
Thats a lot like where I work. I run our papermills' wastewater plant and turn all of our waste into fibercake that gets spread on farm fields. 4 to 6 times a day our truck driver runs 25 yard loads out to the spreading fields after using our '96 John Deere 544 to load them. Thanks for taking us to work again!
The helmet cam works well, just like being there. Guy who has the farm by my house started out like the kid, he runs a recovery business, started out repairing trucks and bought a wrecker now has a few vehicles and a few working with him. Nice to see they gave you an easy job this day when it was hot.
Wow, that brings back memories of me in 2006 working the coal yard. We had two different front end loaders. One had the joy stick, and the other had the individual levers for the bucket. One time I had to use it to lift a Swift trailer at our truck dock when the idiot pulled out and crunched a truck parked beside him. I grabbed the ICC bar in the back of the trailer, and lifted it off the fender of the truck he hit. It was a loaded trailer and I had my back wheels floating trying to lift it! LOL
Alot of info in this one, good stuff Dave. OK just to clarify, so you load coal on to trains, off load it on to the barge, float it down stream, off load the barge back on to trains.. thats a lot of stuff going on there.. awesome
I was just thinking about you Dave. Then your video pops up. I really like running a loader one of my favorite. Looks like hurricane Burel is going to come into my backyard. Thanks for the video and have a great day.
Not bad, even if the brakes groan. Maybe stone dust and some rust. Loved watching you scoop and put it in the truck. Cool view from your chrome dome, lol! Thank you for posting!
One thing for sure Dave - Never a dull moment where you work. And you never get bored with so many different things to do!! Thanks for sharing!
