My Testimony:
I watched this sermon in the beginning of 2017. I had a very rough start to the year. I was very sick and alone at home, no one to help. I was sick all through Chrismas and new year celebration. The person I really cared about left me. I felt alone, it looked like the worst thing ever.
But GOD always blesses those who trust HIM. I watched this video and I put my YES with GOD'S YES.
I am happy to confess that 2017 has turned out to be my best year yet. My year of YES!
I got a scholarship (I have been applying for four 4 years).
I got amazing job offers
My relationship with God is amazing and gets better every day.
Just listing a few... I feel like God is spoiling me with so many blessings.
I am sharing this to hopefully encourage someone. Don't just take this as another sermon.
Trusting God is never in vain. God will always come through even when you can't see a way.

immediately after yesterday service,when i come back to the house,when i click to the youtube,the first thing i saw was "YES IS COMING"..i believe it was not coincidence to what i was trusting GOD, but it was an answer.I thank the Lord.

When I saw this on TV I had just come back from a month of no's. I was not accepted into the jobs I applied for and I felt like I had just given up. I thought to myself, why? I thought I nailed the interview I thought my resume looked great, I thought this was the job for me. However, God put this message that Sunday morning for a reason. This message did not only help me believe but most importantly have faith. As of last week, I received a job that more than 300 applicants applied and only 20 received it. I believe that God uses people like Joel to touch our hearts to remind us that our Yes is Coming!

Joel's claim that you will receive your "Yes" from God is deliberately misleading. It's easy for us to want God to give us everything we want, and his statement that God's "yes" is not good enough without our yes is heretical. We have no power over what God decides - His will is all powerful. Furthermore, do not be deceived from Joel's biblical references. His loose translations are taken out of context and make it seem like God will give you whatever you want if you simply ask. Even the apostles thought that Jesus would establish an earthly kingdom which they would be co rulers in the general sense. That's why they were astonished to find out Christ's kingdom is heavenly (it's important to note that the apostles were emboldened by this spiritual nature as evidenced by their great work for the church after Christ's ascent). Promises which Osteen uses refer in the general sense to a believer's spiritual - not physical - improvement. The world, as John especially emphasizes in his letters, is not for Christians. We can expect persecution, we cannot expect earthly "yeses". Be strong in the faith and check out every claim against the bulwark of Scripture, God bless
