Thanks, Tim and Jon, for this wide-ranging chat about recollections and impressions from the frontlines of politics and journalism. It's so surprising that Jimmy Hoffa helped your scholarly ambitions, Jon; bless his gracious heart. It's also great to hear your insight into FDR's fortitude and temperament. Yes, I agree, they are virtues that are crucial to a successful presidency. I was particularly attentive to your concerns about the possibility of an end to democracy if Trump is to recapture the WH. It's an ugly thought, but it must be spoken. There is much in this video to enlighten armchair historians for many years to come.
