Tyrico Beach is not a bay in itself as it is actually situated within Maracas Bay at its eastern end. This lovely spot of sand, though underrated by locals, is great for the visitor who wishes to be in close proximity to the food and amenities of Maracas Beach, but away from the crowds. A more relaxing swim is also afforded as the angle of the beach results in smaller waves and a less hectic surf, making it ideal for visitors with children. With lots of sand real estate per sun-bather, in a sense, this mini Maracas is the best of both worlds. You will find Tyrico Beach on the left of the North Coast Road within 2 minutes of driving past Maracas Beach. A blue and white sign marks the entrance to a short unfinished access road that allows up to drive right onto the sand. As there are no vendors here, bring your own food or pick up a bake and shark and drink on your way past Maracas Beach.

I used to get at 4am cook pelau pack snacks water drinks and a hot thermos COFFEE.pack the clothes night before BY 5.30am my husband 4 KIDS and myself in the car and on our way to that beach.by 6-7am we on the beach.reason we use to go there was the water is more calm for the kids.there was a shower to rinse of and change.we and the extended

Took the kids there a couple Fridays ago. It was perfect for them to bathe. So calm and clean. They had a blast playing in the sand. They even took a dip in that little river. You guys did a great job highlighting this beautiful beach. Definitely 1 of MY personal favorites.

I was always under the impression that Tobago had the better beaches, but I’m very wrong from what you all are putting out.
Yes I agree the citizens can do a better job at keeping the beaches clean, they will want to visit another time would the want to go on a filthy beach? Is that how they keep there houses? There should be a way for someone to be at the beach to see who doing the littering and put them on blast!!

I am not big on the fishing 🎣 from the beach scene so can’t say i know the spots.
But i have seen people fishing on many of those north coast beaches.

Tyrico Beach is nice, but still dangerous why, because most people drowned in the water so Maracas Beach is better than Tyrico.

Tyrico - at some seasons - boasts very concentrated rip currents. Right where everyone seems to want to bathe.
Learn how to recognise rips. And how to avoid them and swim out of it if you're caught in one. People do drown here.
