pathan' VFX were not done by red chillies, it was done by YRF
Attack's VFX was done by SRK's Red Chillies. No wonder it was good. 🤷
5:04 the kind of Hindi film buff, Snehil is.. i am sure he will watch Deshdrohi 2 on first day first show 🤗
One example of vfx I remember is the scene from gangs of wasseypur part 2, (when the main villain gets shot, to keep it spoiler free) but it was so catroonish that it kinda worked. I remember Varun Grover mentioning in some interview how they weren't happy with how it turned out.
great episode
good to see you all three
Bollywood vfx and red chillies vfx are both different things
Have watched attack and loved it , finally someone appreciating it
I love these review / analysis videos on Bollywood on the Pop Wrap show! Pls continue these
The price given by the Hollywood and other industries is huge as compared to what's Bollywood or even other language industries in India can pay for it. When you can get better pay for a better project on a better timescale for the project then why would the VFX artists do work for the Indian cinema houses. The artists do what they can in the limited time and budget they are offered.
Pathaan ke VFX were done by YRF and not by Redchillies so u can't blame Pathaan fr that Jawaan ke are done by Redchillies so uske agar kharaab honge u can blame them but Pathaan u can't blame him
Attack is red chillies
Agree on most points, and great podcast, but I don't remember who said it but imho "its story is bad" was a, granted subjective, but dumb take on Adipurush. Ffs the story has been a super-hit one for literally thousands of years lmao
Antariksh was right regarding dog sequence in Deewane Huye Pagal with Akshay Kumar it was CGI dog
Cfbr++
There was a movie based on Gulliver's travels starring javed jafri
Jajantram Mamantram
Red Chillies is by far the best VFX company operating in Indian projects. But Pathaan had YRF vfx, which is why it was not perfect. 😂
"The only thing that they should have used CGI was Ajay Devgan's teeth" 😂😂😂
Brahmastra had really good VFX
Pathaan's VFX was not Red chillies
PATHAN's VFX was done by YRF's in-house team.
I'm afraid ivm might get shut down in sometime 😢
There was no Robert De niro in that Godfather scene
Whitney Cummings who is a USA comedian, did a comedy special for Netflix and she needed some touch-up to be done for that special in one day and she gave, if I remember correctly $100k to an Indian VFX company to do it in 1-3 days, and they did. Even the youtubers are paying better for the same work to upcoming VFX artists. Why would anyone want a salaried job for much lesser pay on an even lesser timeframe.
WAR had the best CGI in terms of bollywood
