If I’m not mistaken, although Jimin always gives 💯 when he dances……this particular BTS performance was at a show in Busan, something occurred where RM got sick….and the show promoters bumped BTS from the televised program. That fans were so upset that BTS stayed and performed AFTER the show was over……for their fans. A lot of the lights were off…..there was confetti all over the floor…..but they went out there and performed their hearts out. The only way to see it is thru fan cams….that is why it is a little known performance. But like you….I LOVED HIM IN IT!
Ah yes - that's right! I always forget it was this performance because they just feel so ON, you know?? They really gave it 120%. I watched and rewatched these fancams so many times because of the extra OOMPH in the performances that day. :)

Appreciate your analysis. Jimin's martial arts background is seen in many of his moves. My understanding is it is very unusual for modern and ballet trained to be able to combine hip-hop and martial arts with it. Being powerful when needed and have such grace in his dancing.

Super excited to see what you guys end up analysing on the channel and really looking forward to more detailed discussion regarding the choreo but especially the evolution of it. It has always been my favourite aspect of all the guys dancing but Jimin seems to really have an instinct for those little additions to either give a really awesome added extra or to genuinely throw even more emotion into it.
For example the fingers curling inward one after another in "Let Go" where just before they go down to the floor on their knees there is a movement where mostly closed fists are pulled up along their legs but Jimin does this really beautiful hand movement that just gives such a great emotional punch everytime I see it.
I love seeing some of their older choreo and how it has evolved even more recently too, even their first songs they are continuously putting thought and effort into every iteration of them performance wise when it would be so easy to just go to textbook choreo for such an early song but nope they give even very early songs (which you might presume had choreo more set in stone with them having done them so many times over the years) but they are continuously evolving the extra flourishes and its even more distinct when they change the actual musical aspect of it and that has been super interesting seeing how each of the guys adapt to totally different instrumental sometimes but needing the same emotional punch and lyrics involved. Fascinating and beautiful.
Jimin always impresses me in every aspect of his performance but something that somehow still surprises me is the sheer amount of emotion he can put into a single move. I'm not someone who cries easily and yet he's managed to make me cry multiple times sometimes with a single hand movement of arm motion or even once the way that he sunk down under a sheet, I genuinely felt like it was the heaviest burden in existence because of how much emotion and despair he managed to convey with maybe three movements all combined of his shoulders and arms/hands. Craziness.
Sorry for the long spiel, super excited for a dance analysis channel!
P.s. if there is anyway you could consider maybe making the screen of your face a little bigger please? It's really hard to see you clearly on my phone screen so I can't follow where your eyes are watching and I just generally think it would be cool if we could see your responses more clearly in a slightly bigger window. Totally up to you of course and I of course understand not wanting to take focus away from the dance you're analysing but I do think it would help with the quiet moments especially but also knowing where you're looking on screen is easier if its possible to see your eyes clearer. Please feel free to ignore this part if its already been considered and dismissed but just felt myself thinking "I wish her screen was bigger" quite a few times, sorry.
Look forward to your future videos and will be super awesome to have proper discussion videos where its the two of you analysing and discussing together once your partner in dance analyses has recovered OK (hope everything goes smoothly in that aspect too, best wishes)

Finally had a chance to watch your very first video!!! Well done, you have a very pleasant speaking voice and of course loved hearing the analysis!!! Keep up the good work when you have time!!! Would love to see a video on Serendipity and Filter as well as his solo for Black Swan and his performance for 2019 MMA to I Need You!!! That should keep you busy, sorry if I asked for too many. Welcome!!! I’m thrilled you are here. I’ve only been a fan for about two years but the very first time I saw one of their videos I showed it to my husband, pointed out Jimin, and said, “he has to have ballet.” I knew nothing, zero, about them at the time but it’s impossible to miss his training. I’m so pleased to see a channel focusing on Jomin’s technique in particular.
I’m always fascinated to see the differences in the tiny details of the way Jimin, J-hope, & interestingly, Suga (in recent years) do a small sequence. I feel like Jimin drives everything through his core, J-hope powers so much through his shoulders, and Suga, whose dancing has improved dramatically through the years, comes up off of his toes. Or that’s how it strikes me.
