I’m sick of these type of channels, and they continue because they know they get more views with the army. It’s gross how people still think this way, and yes it’s the way many men grew up but to publicly say this shit about someone it’s weird. Man, this jimin stan is what a man should be. "Stop looking at his gender and look at him as a human" is perfect way to look at someone lol. You don't have to be attracted to him, it's just objective observation.
As a woman I can tell you many women are very attracted to Jimin. He isn't afraid to show his feminine side, he's caring and sweet and so, so beautiful inside out. I can't speak for all women (at all!) but not being secure enough in your own sexuality to be able to call another man beautiful is kinda a turn off
He's just a pretty man, lol! As a woman myself, I am 100% attracted to that. I've always preferred men who aren't super buff, who look softer, and who actually take care of themselves physically in terms of cleanliness and style. I like longer hair on men, I like clean-shaven, etc. Overly masculine men very much do not attract me. I've come across plenty of woman who feel the same, and lots of men don't seem to understand that. Everyone's different, but just something I've experienced.
Of course, Jimin very much has masculine features but also feminine features, but there's also something to be said about implicit race bias in the sense that East Asians generally have softer facial features compared to Western facial features - flatter faces, clear skin, less pronounced bone structure, less sunken eyes, etc. You're likely just used to Western-looking men and have not thought much about what's considered normal for men physically in East Asia, or, in this sense, Korea. Of course, Jimin is still far more attractive than the average Korean man, lol. He's also known for being very beautiful and androgynous anyway.

BTS just re-signed their contract with BigHit (Hybe) for the second time. So yes their company treats them well. Bang Si Hyuk, the founder of the company, was just interviewed by Bloomberg News and he talked about how he got even closer to the members during the contract negotiations. They all attended the Grammys in 2022 and you could see how fond BTS is of him, they treated him like a father. If you watch The Rise of Bangtan docu-series you'll get a sense of the Kpop industry training and also how BTS and their company were different. Even so, they still practiced and practiced for many hours and even had a time when the group considered breaking up because they were so stressed. We are all blessed that they stuck together and now as we wait for 2025 we hear again and again how much they look forward to being together. Since you seem to enjoy the live performances (compared to an MV), I want to recommend concert performance videos where they are really having a great time! Japan 2016 Epilogue Tour stages like Boyz with Fun, Attack on Bangtan, Bapsae, and No More Dream are really fun! (Check out the channel Enjoy BTS More for good English subs)

If y'all haven't figured it out by now, I'll tell you. The dance is for live performances. It's not a waste of time. It's a great live performance. The video tells a story, and it's a nice change. Instead of Just dancing in every video.

Ok having just watched your Set Me free video reaction, it did crack me up to see you guys complain so much about having none of the dance in the main video haha. Where for Set Me Free, you wanted to see more of a story/movie. I guess it’s the hard decision of - tell the story or show the dance. If you splice the two, sometimes you do one or the other a disservice instead of fully fleshing one out.

Well. That’s exactly what they did with the Set Me Free MV. They gave the dance the full focus. They let that hard work shine. But it was too much for you guys since you’d watched the dance practice already and had all these ideas about it haha.
It’s funny- I think I actually said in my comment on your Set Me Free video that it ‘would have been a disservice’ to the art that was the Set me Free dance, if they had chopped it up and only shown bits in the MV so they could show some more movie like/story clips.
Imagine if they had done that for Set Me Free- chopped it up with mostly story clips like most MVs so you only saw 1/3 of the dance. Then you saw the amazing SMF dance practice. I feel like you guys would have reacted the exact same way here and been like- this dance should have just been the video, we were cheated hah!

The dance practice is for the live performances. The MV wasn't supposed to focus on the dancing, it was telling the story of the lyrics. Hybe couldn't really micromanage BTS even if they tried. The boys are just above that. Jin has literally said I don't follow what the agency says lmao. Jungkook has given the staff multiple heartattacks from holding live streams at ungodly hours and drinking lots and lots of alcohol. They are living their lives. If Hybe was trying to micromanage them even after all the years they've been with the company would be hilarious.
I find Jimin both handsome and beautiful. It may be just my opinion but both adjectives can be applied to him. Having that typical "rugged" look is not what makes a man a man, or makes them handsome. Jimin does not look like a woman to me. First of all, if you look at the actual women int he video, Jimin looks nothing like them. Jimin does have that pretty boy look. Maybe it's because I've been watching them for longer than you guys have, or because I've watched a lot of Kdrama's, but it's very clear to me the difference between a Korean man and a Korean woman.

Three words, "Cutie Sexy Lovely". As for Hybe/BigHit micromanaging BTS, the answer is no. The guys had rules to follow in their trainee days and they've always had wardrobe stylists for videos and big events. Other than that, BTS had freedom to do what they wanted to do, and that was put in the hours and hours of blood sweat and tears to get where they are now. Other ARMY can feel free to add anything I missed. 💜

The dance practice is for live performances. He did a bunch of them whilst promoting the songs on music shows in Korea as well as on Jimmy Fallons show. I wouldn't say its misleading or a disservice to the dance lol since he did many performances live. The MV was to tell a story of what the song is about.
Bighit isn't micromanage them much. Maybe in the beginning to help them make a name for themselves but I'm not sure, I don't think Hybe and Bighit control them, the members themselves have said many times they do have a say in how their promotions and music come across

Men in the K-pop industry take care of their skin, hair and bodies, which can come off as feminine to men here. Bighit lets the boys do what they want when it comes to their solo music. They aren't like the other K-pop companies, BigHit has always let BTS have some sort of say in what they do. BTS has written, produced and helped with choreography ever since they debuted. As for this Dance Practice, it is for all the live performances on shows.
Dance practices are mainly for the live performances! Many MV’s don’t have any of the choreography, but are based more on the storyline of the song to help further get across the meaning of the song, just like “Like Crazy” there is no choreography. There just is some casual club sporadic club dancing only. There have been som MV’s that have had both MV that showed storyline only, and then another MV that showed the choreography. Like for BTS song “On” which had both, 😊

You NEED to watch the “making of” video for the dance practices of Like Crazy (the choreo was for Music show performances) and Set Me Free Part 2. You will see how hard he works…..and yes….he has beautiful duality to his looks….but many many times Jimin is very very masculine. He is just a supremely talented gorgeous man! I personally think the issue a lot of men face with Jimin is that he has a dancers inate grace and elegance that is often seen in women but seldom seen in men. That coupled with his almost ethereal beauty, androgyny and caring personality makes him very attractive. However he also has the duality of being magnetic, strong and wicked sexy too which makes het men in particular confused. Some people may possess one or two of those qualities but very few have all of them as a complete package like Jimin does. I think that is why both women and men are drawn to him like moth to flame. He's certainly one of a kind for sure. I always find my eyes drawn to him when I watch BTS despite the fact my bias will always be my handsome Namjoonie.

I have to admit that I have never been attracted to what in my day were called "metrosexual" (before we knew what we were talking about) men who take really good care of themselves, and even wear makeup, get their nails done and hair dyed.
HOWEVER, Jimin is the exception. I appreciate his "softer" sides, but I still find something incredibly sensual and MASCULINE about him also. I also find myself drawn into his beautiful and unique features, which are there whether he's dolled up or not. He's just a sculpted beauty that if he were born in a different time, artists would surely model statues after him.
Alot of the attraction comes from the fact that he does have some old-school chivalry going on where he opens doors for women, gestures for them to go first, he's caring, he has the skills and strength to be a protector. He's pretty much a prince charming. And this appeals to the most lizardy of my straight female brain.

None of this choreography was in the music video at all, because that is not the concept they wanted for the music video. But, they chose to create choreography for live performances, of which there were many. And no, I doubt anybody got mad about it because this is all planned out way in advance. I’m sure the choreographer knew that they were creating performance choreography.
9:18 lol bts literally do whatever they want. They have no dating bans or whatever.. they still prefer to keep their life private,but other than relationships, they do whatever. They drink live (eve tho it’s against the “rules”), they have tattoos, piercings, they hang out with whoever they want and some of them smoke too. No, Bts each one of them prepare their debut , and how much they are involved it’s up to them and when they start to do the album but the staff of the company aren’t slaves lol so if they couldn’t get something , it probably cuz the schedules couldn’t match , for example jimin just prepare his debut in 10 months which is really short so he only could do like 5 new songs and just 2 MVs. Even tho he wanted more , as I said the staff aren’t slaves and they have a life lol. Other members like from the rap line took years since they started to make the songs since years ago, so they have time to put the schedule together for the staff. They are so involve and even one of the did the whole board for the MVs . So again it’s up to the members, the vocal line don’t have experience in organize that cuz the rappers where in some poin more involve about the group and they already did solos cuz the rappers do the music and came with the concepts , etc. For the group and even music for the solo songs for the vocal line or just vocal line songs , like for example LC was co-wrote by RM. Which after the solos you can tell the experience in writing and adapting an album different between vocal line and rapline. Rap line it’s god tier , they are already pros , vocal line is in diapers when it comes to that. Those guys( rapline) writes songs like everyday, they are in house producers and songwriters in the company. And they are treated as that.

lol the choreo is for the live performances and concerts, not strictly the music videos. yes the vids are huge but the main draw and source of revenue aside from actual album sales/streams are tickets to performances. the vids are more artistic visualizations of the concept of the song and promo of the group and albums. thats why its hit or miss how much of the choreo you’ll get in the vid and why they also release dance practices, so you can see the full run through without the added cuts and production, plus also as just fun for army sometimes
