Amazing playing and composition! After watching it over and over again we are picking up on some of your playing techniques. So awesome! So much fun to watch and learn from you.
man, I still can't believe this is an instrument, I saw one at the Guitar Center and couldn't wrap my mind around it. I love the sound it makes, I am amazed and impressed, I fell in awe when I listened to you playing it. keep it up.
Whoooo!!! Loved that. I don't spend enough time on my kalimba I should as i absolutely loved it, it's such a satisfying instrument to play. Kalmba's are so great, can make so much beautiful music on it. I even have a mini 8 key/tine kalima as well. 😉
Thank you, This reminds me of my childhood.I would open the back of my jewerly box and play the metal notes in it ,which looked like your instrument in miniature.I never saw your instrument before. What a delightful sound.
It amazes me how well you can play all these different instruments. I have pretty much all your stuff in my iTunes. I really like Amani. It reminds me of my trip to India.
super amazing piece of music......there were no need of background music at all....you played this instrument sooooo beautiful and mesmerizangly and this is sounding wowsomely good......
I've been following your music since you had a few thousand views on your Lotus Composition in Cmin. I actually tuned one of my Karimbas to your tuning. . i think i got it right. Anyway. . fantastic. . thanks for the inspiration and hello from Ireland. Rónán
It is a fun instrument for those who have a good sense of rhythm. You can make it sound and stop it or let it sound. There are many possibilities. I love playing my Nyunga nyunga mbira.
Try the 11 note avalon scale on the 15 note, after the 11th note just repeat the scale again on the next 4 notes. I think it sounds much better then the 15 note avalon scale.
hey can i use a bit of this music in a video I plan to do in the future I'll give all credit to you for the song plz respond and keep up with the amazing music
+shadowtag ams You will need to purchase a license for that. The price depends on the nature of your video. You can contact me at saregama-contact.blogspot.com/ for more details.
It's just a live video, the tune is not included in my discography. If you want the MP3 for personal listening, you can use some online services that converts CZcams to MP3. If you want to license it for an audiovisual project, please contact me with details at saregama-contact.blogspot.com/ Thanks.

What exactly do you mean by writing "free tuning charts". Just went to your site and it states: "If you want the tuning chart and a high quality audio file of this composition, you can receive them for a donation." I think you should really change your video's description.
looks and sounds like he is texting Angels

This is incredible and so beautiful, I have fallen in love with this instrument.
Love this! I get the feeling of adventure and curiosity and it's truly beautiful! Like two friends exploring the forest together.

Это звучит просто божественно.

My friend... as always, great song, great work.
pd.:me and my little 3 years girl, really enjoy the "high spirits condor bass d" song.
Good Work🙄👀refreshing
прекрасная музыка
genial

😊👍
To be a good kalimba player you should have played Nintendo por at least 10 years xD
ahaha best comment ever xD
In other words, if your mom or teacher confiscated your Nintendo, you will become a good kalimba player :D
Alvaro Ampudia then I have no chance😔 never played games like that. Only once in a blue moon😿
Then my generation will be the best kalimba players in the history of mankind ;) Hammer-thumbing small boxes is a large part of my childhood.
Top! :-)
привет, пикабу!

а классно вышло.
I’m curious to know how long have you been playing the kalimba …? And can you play a traditional Mbira…..
what kind of microphone did u use?
also....whoa...XD
Beautiful, what's the tuning?
This is lovely! Which other instruments did you use aside from the kalimba?
Thanks for the comment. For the backing track I used sampled instruments including synth pads, upright bass and different percussions.
Great song! What's the name of it? Where can I download?
whats the piece of metal called, thats holds the tines
I'm searching for one Colorado kalimba, but i think they are not crafting anymore :'(
Lovely !
How is it tuned ?
To be a good kalimbist you need long thumbnails. its a must
Arosa Magique i have long nails and i can play piano
Otylia Chester I think some schools of very proper piano instruction insist on the short nails more than it's actually important.
Arosa Magique I bang away by ear. Not too bad for a rock setting. Less proper? I own that.
How is It tuned, I would like to buy a kalimba but i need to know how it is tuned. I LOVE the sound of the higher pitched kalimbas.
coloradosoundscapes.com/scales/
It's funny I prefere the sound of the lower pitched kalimbas.
this is in 5/8
Wasn't sure about the bottom number. I'll take your word for it, thanks.
technically, this could be a very fast 5/4, or a slow 5/16, or very slow 5/32. It's really about the speed. 5/8 is what you want. beautiful music !

SaReGaMa ok i will consider thank you
May I use this as background music for a painting video? I can put Creds, link, and name! This is gorgeous and adorable all in one!!!
You will need to purchase a license for that, starting from $20.
cool! i want to get 1! wanted to know if all 12 notes i mean all the sharp n the usual notes could be tuned in a kalimba in one go ?
Hiba Sharafuddin You mean chromatic scale? Yes, you can tune it.
Прелесть, кто-нибудь знает можно ли купить это чудо в Калининградской области?
how much is it?
:)
How do they attach the bar where the keys sit? Glue?
It's rather attached with screws from the inside.
I'd like to buy/download this, but I'm having trouble finding this specific song in your discography on your blog. Could you link it?

Who's clapping?

Is that a lot of rust on the tines?

+SaReGaMa да, видео появилось у меня в ленте новостей в контакте
+SaReGaMa Вы умеете по-русски говорить? Вы из России?

There really are free tuning charts and free MP3 on my site. Only Lotus files are given in exchange for a donation, but all the rest is free.
Leave russians
